Harvey & Sasha

It was a quiet morning for us, as the storms had passed in the night. Everything is well at the house. Harvey came up to the gate and barked a bit as I pulled up. His tail started going and he was already happy for attention when I reached the gate. He trotted alongside me as we headed to the patio. There was nothing to clean up this morning, so I went ahead and made sure they had enough food. Sasha got up and followed us around a bit. She and Harvey wandered off and did a little exploring in the yard. Harvey came running back for me to pet him some more. Sasha decided to go curl up in her house and take a nap. This evening Harvey was right at the gate again. It was a pretty nice day out, but a little humid. The storms are on their way to our area again. Harvey was so excited when I got in and was smelling all the different animals on me. He continued to smell me while I refilled their water jug. Sasha was just lounging comfortably on the patio. I gave them some more food, then it was time to pet Harvey. I tried to give Sasha some attention too, but Harvey thwarted my efforts. He kept walking under my arm in between Sasha and I like, "Hey don't forget to pet me!" Harvey did some exploring about the yard again. He came back and laid on the patio like Sasha for awhile. He would get excited every now and again when he'd hear a loud car or motorcycle, then would race to the fence to investigate!

Oreo & Stuffs

Today when I arrived, Oreo came running down the stairs! Stuffs was sitting at the top and made his way down right away too. I had both boys rubbing up against my legs in the kitchen today! Oreo did his usual rolling around as well. They were talking and purring away. The kitties worked on eating while I cleaned up their box. When I finished, they followed me into the living room and sat down with me. I got out a kitty toy and spritzed it with the cat nip. Oreo licked at it a bit and got a little playful. Stuffs was happy just getting his chin scratched. He even pawed at me for more. They made me laugh when Stuffs went to sit by Oreo and they both stared at the toy in between them! Such silly kitties. They enjoyed their attention time as usual, then took their turns at going to eat some more.

Jack & Tigger

Today as soon as I opened the door to his room, Jack perked up and gave me a purr/meow hello! He brushed up against my leg and started purring away, already happy for some attention. He followed me all over the house today. First, we got him some fresh water and a little bit of food. I let him nibble for a minute, then I put his bowl up to give him a break. Next, he followed me to the garage, where we had to part ways. I called for miss Tigger once I got in the garage. She meowed back at me and we had a little meowing conversation going. She made her way down the ladder to come see me. I pet her for a little bit, then got her some fresh food and water as well. Jack was talking to us through the door, which didn't make Tigger very happy. She gave him a couple hisses as a response. After I checked on the pool, I came back in to visit with Jack a little longer. He certainly didn't mind! I made sure to put his food back down for him before I left.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today Oreo was right at the door when I came in. I looked at him and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Stuffs sitting on a chair in the office. It had been a stormy day for us. The kitties meowed at me and followed me to the kitchen. I went to get them some fresh water from the bathroom because the kitchen sink was still not together. I got a trickle of water and realized that the water was shut off! Uh oh... the thought did cross my mind to go catch rain water if I had to haha! I saw there was some water bottles in the fridge though, so I stole one of those for the kitties for today. The boys followed me to the living room and each picked a side. I had them both rubbing their faces in my hands at the same time. They were very snuggly again today. Oreo rolled around a bit and made his kitty biscuits with his paws. They took turns again to leave and nibble on their food. Both returned for more chin scratches until it was time to go.

Harvey & Sasha

It was a stormy day for us today. It was downpouring where I was, as I headed to go see the pups. Luckily, once I got to the house the rain had stopped. There was a good amount of standing water in the yard, so I rolled up my pants and headed in! Haha! Sasha actually met me at the gate. Poor girl must have been wandering around in the rain. She was pretty wet. I went to the patio and Harvey came out of his dog house to say hi. I made sure they had plenty of food for this evening. I cleaned up the patio a bit, then it was attention time! Harvey was happy for some back scratches. Miss Sasha curled up on a dry spot on the patio. Harvey sat and sniffed at all the other animal smells on me. Eventually, he wandered off to explore around the yard. He came back for some more heiny scratches before it was time to go.

Sadi & Stormy

I got to meet your daughter and her family today! They were over visiting when I arrived. I noticed a different light on inside when I walked up, so I had a feeling someone was home! I went ahead and got the girls' food ready right away. I went to take it into their room and found Sadi already in there, getting a drink of water. I set their food down and got them some more dry food and fresh water while she nibbled a bit. Next, I cleaned up her face and gave her her medications. She's such a trooper! I set her back down by her food when we finished. I went to check on Stormy before I left. She was lounging on her chair on the patio. I gave her a few pets, then headed out to give the family some privacy. The kitties had family to love on them today. I will give them some extra time on another visit to make up for me leaving a little early today. It made me smile when Sadi came out and followed me to the door. She gave me a meow goodbye while I put my shoes on.

Buckley & Chloe

Today the rain had held off long enough for my visit with the pups. I let Chloe and Buck outside to play for awhile. Buck came and sat with me, demanding I pet him with his barks! Chloe was busy exploring the yard and saying hi to the backyard neighbor dog. At one point I thought I heard Bootsie meow, but he didn't come to visit me. Later, Buck went digging through his toys and dug out a sopping wet hedgehog toy that he thought he'd chew on for a bit. We took a break, wiped off their paws and headed inside for some food and water. When they finished we played outside a little longer. There were dark clouds overhead and the winds were picking up, so I figured I would put them back inside before I left. Chloe explored some more. Buck found a tiny branch with a few leaves on it, that he chewed into little pieces. Soon I heard Chloe go racing from one side of the yard to the other. Buck joined her, so I went to see what they were excited about. There were two black pups roaming the neighborhood. They stopped at the fence to say hi to Chloe and Buck. While I was over there, Bootsie finally came to say hi to me!

Oreo & Stuffs

Oreo was at the top of the stairs when I came in, meowing at me. He made his way down to meet me in the kitchen. It looks like they were working on the house a bit today. While I was moving their food down in their bowl, Stuffs peeked through the railing and meowed at me. I stayed with the boys for a longer visit today since they were so lovey dovey! Stuffs and I played a little with one of their toys. Oreo was too lazy to play. He'd stick out one paw towards it and be done. Haha! I laid on the floor and they each laid on either side of me. They took turns getting pet and were both purring away. Stuffs rolled to his side for a little bit of a belly rub and took a nap. They were sure happy for some love today!

Sadi & Stormy

Today when I came in, I didn't see either kitty right away. So, I got started getting their food ready. Sadi was just sitting in the bedroom. She followed me in while I got them some fresh food and water. She was such a good kitty for her meds. While we were working on that, miss Stormy decided to come see what we were up to. She sat and watched for a minute, before she headed in to get a bite to eat. I set Sadi down by her food so she could eat some too. The girls worked on that while I took care of the garbage bin. When I came back, Stormy was making her way through the living room. She stopped to sniff at me a bit, then went to sit on a chair and groom herself. Sadi came in not long after. I went to sit by her to pet her a bit. At first, she gave me a couple "Mar" sounding meows. It didn't take long before she was purring away! She enjoyed a long session of chin and back scratches. She made sure to rub her face on my hand so I'd get her ears, chin, and forehead - all the good spots! Stormy stopped to sniff at me again as she passed by, on her way to the bedroom.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today there was a little mouse toy sitting right by the door. I guess Oreo was preparing for my return! I didn't see him right away. He was already sitting in the kitchen, ready to start rubbing up against my legs and to roll around on the floor. I refilled their dry food today while Oreo started on his canned food. Stuffs was getting a drink of water when I had finished cleaning their box. Oreo had moved on to the living room and Stuffs walked with me to join him. The boys laid on the floor and both were happy to get some chin scratches! They purred away. I had to take turns petting each of them since they weren't quite close enough for me to reach them both at the same time. After awhile Oreo decided to go nibble on his food some more.

Oreo & Stuffs

Oreo meowed at me as soon as I opened the door. He was making his way down the stairs. He followed me into the kitchen as usual. He rolled around and was rubbing up on my legs like he loves to do! I hadn't seen Stuffs yet, so I went to clean their box quick. Oreo followed me into the living room for some attention time. He loved rubbing his face on me for awhile. Then, we played a little with one of their toys. I heard Stuffs come down and go into the kitchen to nibble on their food. Soon, he came into the living room to see what we were up to. Stuffs was pretty lovey today! He came over for some chin scratches and meowed 'thank you' to me. He even got into playing today. He was chasing, rolling and contorting into silly positions trying to catch it! We had some fun today. While Stuffs and I played, Oreo decided to go get a bite to eat.

Flax

This morning Flax was already up and about. He was at the front of the house when I pulled up. He quickly came over to my car and barked hello. He walked with me back to the front of the house. I went in to take care of the fish and to get everyone fresh food and water. Little kitty must have gotten into the food! The white bag was on the floor and the other was tipped over on the shelf. Brave little kitty to go into Flax's territory! I went out and didn't see him in the other garage anywhere. He must be out exploring this morning. Once I was finished, I went to see what Flax was up to. He was lounging on the front porch. I sat with him and he enjoyed every minute of his attention time.

Flax

This morning I couldn't see Flax on his bed when I pulled up. I headed into the garage and found him laying in the shade. I filled his bowl and he started nibbling right away, so I went to see kitty. He was hungry! He raced all the way to the bowl and danced around while I filled it. He got a couple bites, then hopped down and started rolling around. I saw Flax wander out of the garage and head towards us. I went over to Flax and we sat in the driveway. He was happy for some attention again. He pawed at me to keep petting him. This evening Flax was laying in the garage. It was a very nice day out! He sat right up and started barking when I pulled up. I got him his canned food, fresh water, then went to check on kitty. He must have heard me coming too, since I nearly plowed him over with the door! He got out of the way quick enough though. I went and visited with Flax for a bit. He was pretty sleepy tonight. Later, I went to give kitty some more attention since he didn't get any this morning. He was meowing and talking to me like crazy! Its funny... he sure knows what line not to cross, where Flax is boss. Kitty went to investigate the pool, but would not cross the concrete to follow me.

Susie & Frank Fritz

This morning I fed the kiddos breakfast. I noticed the white bowl I put out was missing, so I started to look around the yard for it. Frank was interested in what I was doing, so he kept running to grab a bite, then would follow me. He didn't want to miss out on anything! I finally found the bowl under the grill. Since that idea didn't work, I just returned the bowl to the house. After they finished their breakfast, it was time to play! Frank started wrestling around with Susie. This time, she was giving him a taste of his own medicine! When he was done rough-housing, she instigated a round. Needless to say, she was winning! Haha! They played until a helicopter flew by. They heard it, stopped what they were doing, and just stared curiously until it passed. Frank had fun chasing after a big bumble bee that flew by next! This evening Frank knew I was there, getting their dinner ready. He started pawing at the door. Tonight they both ate pretty quickly. Frank came over for some attention. He doesn't jump so much once he settles down a little. He just wants so much love! He and Susie did some wrestling. Frank made me laugh when he poked his head through the railing to spy on Susie. He was watching her walk around the yard, and was getting into that pouncing stance! I got them each a treat to work on. After Susie finished hers, she came to say hi while Frank was occupied. When he came running over, Susie went and found a spot in the shade to relax.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today Oreo was in his spot by the door waiting for me. He gave me a meow hello. I saw Stuffs sitting up on the stairs as well. He made his way down, while Oreo followed me around the house. Oreo was as attached to my legs as he could be. I nearly tripped on him several times! Haha! He got to work on his food while I got them some fresh water. He started in on Stuffs' portion next, so I tried to stop him. Luckily, all I had to do was walk out of the kitchen! Oreo followed me while I gave the plants a drink. He kept meowing at me like, "Hey, aren't you going to pet me now?!" I stayed with them for a longer visit today. All three of us headed to the living room. Stuffs hopped up on the tv stand again. Today he wasn't only watching the birds though. He was entertained by watching us! Oreo got some chin scratches and some play time in too. Stuffs didn't want to come down by us, but I made sure to give him a few chin scratches before I left. Oreo and I sure had fun today!

Jerrie & Kimmie

Kimmie wasn't in her usual spot when I arrived today, so I went right next door to say hi. When I came back I still didn't see her, so I quickly refreshed their items. I called for her, then she appeared in the doorway and followed me to their water bowl in the bathroom. She waited while I did that, then came along with me to see Jerrie. Kimmie crawled under the curtain and sat in her window. Jerrie came down and enjoyed his brush time. I would brush him, and sometimes he would brush himself while I held it. He likes rubbing his chin on the bristles! I played with Kimmie a bit since I could see her heiny sticking out. She'd throw out a paw at me to play. I uncovered her so I could pet her, but she wasn't interested and crawled back under the curtain. Silly girl!

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

This morning Blackie got up and came over to say hi when I opened the garage. He soon wandered off to go explore the neighborhood. I headed in to see the other pups. They were excited to get outside. Sparkles was in the living room, looking a little overwhelmed when all three were running about! She was safe from being trampled where she was though. Haha! I took Hudson out first, then the two ladies. It was a beautiful morning, so we spent the whole time outside. Hudson was watching the yard, looking for any neighbor dogs. Zel wandered off into some tall grass and spent some time sniffing around. I got them a fresh bowl of water while we were playing outside. Soon Gabbie was at the gate, barking to come inside. I told her it was too nice out and she'd have to wait until the other two we're ready to go in. She eventually trotted off to do more exploring. Blackie came back to visit me some more. When it was time to head in, we stopped on the steps to wipe off paws. They all did very good!

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

Blackie came up to say hi when I opened the garage. He must have been resting inside. I could hear the other three, barking excitedly. I let them each outside for a potty break. Next, we headed back in for dinner. After I filled everyone's dishes, I noticed something moving above me out of the corner of my eye. Sparkles was sitting up high on top of the cupboards!  She came down and got a few scratches while the pups worked on dinner. Hudson was finished first, as usual. He sat with me to get some attention until the others finished. After everyone got a drink, we all headed back outside. They went racing to the opposite side of the yard to say hi to the neighbor dog. Blackie kept me company, and was happy to be pet. He wouldn't let me stop even for a second! When it was time, I put the pups back to bed.

Flax

This morning Flax was in a deep sleep. He didn't even hear me pull up! I walked close and quietly called his name so I wouldn't scare him. He sat up and gave me a big bark. He slowly got up and made his way to say hi. We sat outside a bit, then he wandered off to take a stroll. While he did that I got him some fresh food and water. Next, I went to visit the little kitty. He was very shy at first, keeping his distance, but obviously wanting some attention. He would startle and zoom off, but never too far! I got him a little food as well. This evening, Flax was snoozing away again. I added a can of food to his dish and he got right to work. While he was eating I visited with the kitty for awhile. Tonight, little kitty wasn't shy anymore! He was loving on me and purring away. He rolled around on the ground nearby, then would come over for more attention. Flax came over and put an end to that! Kitty took off to hide, so now it was Flax's turn for attention. He and I sat in the driveway for awhile. He walked circles around me, having me scratch different sides. Eventually, he laid down and enjoyed the evening air.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today I had some talkative kitties! Oreo was making his way down the stairs as I came in and gave me a hello meow. He stopped and rubbed his face on the posts, then met me in the kitchen. I got them some fresh food while he plopped at my feet and rolled around. As I was headed to clean their box, I saw Stuffs on the stairs. When he saw me looking at him, he gave me a couple meows. He did a big stretch, then came down to see me. We all sat in the living room downstairs and they got some attention time. I pulled out a couple toys and we had fun with those for a bit. I saw the cat nip spray and spritzed a toy. Oreo loved that! Stuffs got bored and hopped up by the tv to look out the window. The birds were going crazy out there! Oreo laid by me for some chin scratches. He'd suddenly jump and turn around to look at the birds. Then, he'd plop his head back on my hand, purring away. "Ok, you can resume petting me!" He made me laugh. Both kitties eventually got bored with me and went to nibble on their food.

Susie & Frank Fritz

Your note was right... Frank sure is a bouncy little guy! But he's super cute so its ok. ;) I fed them both right away when I arrived. Frank quickly finished his food and came over to say hi. We worked on having him sit if he wanted to be pet. He actually didn't do too bad! He sure loves attention. Susie came wandering over by us, wanting some pets too. Frank got all excited and started wrestling around with her. He'd pinch onto her cheeks and she'd stand there and tolerate it, giving him a scolding occasionally. She's such a good girl! This evening the pups were around the side of the house when I came out. They both came running when they heard me! While they worked on their supper, I refilled their water bowl. It was laying upside down by their dog houses. I put their other water bowl outside with them just in case, so they'd have enough if he decided to play with the bowl again. Frank came bouncing over after dinner for his attention. Susie came over too and was happy for some back scratches. I got them each a treat to work on. Frank was being silly, barking and pouncing on his before he finally started eating it! They had some more fun messing around with each other afterwards.
