This evening I heard Stormy barking as I pulled up. I got Bubba some more food and water, then went out to see her. It didn't take her long this time to come around back to find me! She's such a happy girl. She was bouncing all over the place. After we said hi for a little bit, I got her dinner and a little treat. I waited with her for a little bit, while she started to eat her food.
Today I heard Pokey barking as I walked to the door. He saw me right away and came over, then rolled over at my feet for some belly rubs. We headed outside for awhile and he got to roam around and explore. Later this afternoon Pokey was sitting on his chair when I got in. He hopped down and joined me outside. It was hot out this afternoon, so he didn't want to stay out long at first. We went in so he could cool off, then we went back out again once more. This time he wandered around to go check things out.
This morning Shadow came wandering into the kitchen when he heard me. He seemed pretty determined to give me his little love nibbles today! He kept trying, but I was too quick for him. Haha. He followed me to the pantry to get his snacks. He was following me around everywhere this morning, staying close by. When we were headed back to the living room, he would trot ahead of me, then turn back to make sure I was still coming. I noticed he'd had fun with his beds overnight, as they were moved all over the place. He was in a playful mood this morning and we had fun with his stringy cat toy for awhile. This evening I got out some new food for him, so he went right to work on eating that, while I took care of his other things. He joined me in the living room when he was done. We heard some loud sounds as we were sitting there tonight. That had him listening intently. Eventually, he relaxed and wanted his pets. He didn't want to play with his feather toys tonight, but he did have fun rolling around and playing with his little green ball on his own.
This morning it was raining out, so Gracie and I had to hold off on our walk. I let her out for a quick break, then let Emma have a turn. Molly was snoozing in the kid's bedroom this morning, and didn't feel like getting up. I fed her in there and the other two in their usual spots. Emma lounged out on the patio and watched the rain until it was time for Gracie to go back out. This afternoon I had a little booboo that I worked on cleaning up, while Gracie went out for a potty break. She got to spend a good amount of time out there. This time Molly was ready to go out, so she and Emma took their turns. When Gracie came in, she was oozing with excitement! She could hardly contain herself. Haha. She snuggled up to me and even tried to climb in my lap for all the attention she could get. Then, she was in a playful mood, so she ran and got a squeaky turtle. I chased her a little and we messed around with her toy for awhile. She's so silly!
This morning it was raining out when I arrived. I let Zoie out and she gathered up some toys to take out front with her. Cole and I headed out back. It took him a little while, but eventually he did go out to the grass to do his business. He kept going back and forth, not sure about it at first! Sadie went out front after Zoie came in and got some time out there as well. Later, they all came in for their breakfast. This afternoon Zoie collected her toys to go outside again. She's lucky I keep bringing them in for her, or she'd have none left! Haha. It was nice out this afternoon, so they all did some exploring. A bunch of birds kept landing on the fence today. That kept Sadie busy for quite awhile! She kept racing along the fence to make them fly away, then would wait and watch for them to land, to do it all over again. Lots of kids were out today, and some came walking by. Zoie rolled over and got one little boy's attention. Then, Sadie and Zoie were both schmoozing him for some pets! Haha. This evening everyone got to go out back again. The skies are starting to get dark as some storms will be rolling in tonight. Sadie lounged in the grass awhile and enjoyed the cool breeze. More kids were out fishing tonight, so the girls spent some time watching them.
