Sophie & Roxy

Today was pretty chilly outside! The girls were bouncing up and down at the gate when I arrived. They came inside to get warm and cozy for awhile. They both jumped up on my lap as we sat on the couch. Sophie was pulling herself across my lap from one side to the other. She stopped midway and threw her head back to sneak some kisses. Since I was pinned, Roxy got some in too! Haha. Sophie got down to go eat her food. As soon as Roxy heard the kibbles moving against the metal bowls, she leapt off the couch to go get some too. They came back together and both hopped on my lap again. They were being silly girls as usual! Roxy would sit and stare at me, then kept pawing at me. They took a little break to each sit in their chairs, before I got them some snacks. Before I left, I pulled the ice out of their water bowl and got them some fresh water.

Mimi & Diego

This morning I came in and both pups were at the door. I think they were expecting someone else though! Mimi headed right for her room. Diego backed up a little, but was curious. I walked to the back door to see if he would go outside with me. He followed all the way, but stopped in the doorway. Too cold out there! He went to go snuggle up in the cozy bed with Mimi. I sat on the floor and talked to them a bit. Diego would sniff at my hand. I brought them a couple pieces of treats and Mimi took those from me well. I took them outside, but they no more than touched the ground, then they were headed back for the warm house! I don't blame them, it's really cold out! This evening both pups were at the door again, to see who was home. Mimi went back to bed, and Diego stayed out and watched me. When I asked him to go outside, then he turned and headed to bed too. I took Mimi out first, but instead of going potty, she headed for the door. Diego did the same when it was his turn. Poor cold babies! They hadn't had any accidents so far, so hopefully they'll go out when dad gets home. I sat by them for a bit and they both came up to me to lick my hand. I got kisses! Then, they snuggled up in their blankies. I got them each a treat, but only Mimi ate them.
