This afternoon I saw Rusty right away. He went to grab his ball, while I let Ruby out. We headed outside and they both ran to the yard. Ruby went both right away today. She and Rusty lounged in the grass for a little bit. Ruby eventually came to sit with me, then waited on the patio until it was time to head back in. Rusty brought me his purple ball to play some fetch today. I thought for sure that he had brought his red one outside!
This afternoon the boys sat up in their beds when I got in. I let Eddie out and he happily greeted me. I let Butler out next and he followed me to the kitchen. He was busy giving me kisses on my hand, while I got them some fresh water. The boys both ran outside to play for a bit. It wasn't long before they plopped down on the patio to soak up some rays.
The stray kitties must not have been as hungry yesterday. They had a little bit leftover when I got there. I brought the dishes in and got everyone some more food. After I finished taking care of Chupie's things, I walked part way up the stairs, just to see if I could get a glimpse of her. Nope! The mysterious Chupie remains to be unseen. Haha. She's eating well, so she must be doing alright.
Today Lucy wasn't in her spot when I arrived. In fact, I didn't see either of them! I peeked in the office and there was no Shadow sitting in there. I finally did see him sitting in the bedroom. I went to get them their food and they both appeared in the kitchen. Shadow did a big stretch and was standing up against the cabinets and pawing at them as I got his yums. He took a couple bites, then went to sit in the living room. When he saw I was going to work on their box next, he decided to go eat. He sat by the front door and watched the birds a bit. Lucy rolled around on the floor and enjoyed some attention. Later, she was in play mode! We had fun. I was able to throw the rope in the air and she'd catch it every time! Shadow eventually retired to his spot in the office to continue his bird watching.
This morning Stormy hopped down from her chair after I came in from watering the plants. She wandered around the kitchen, while I got their breakfast ready. Sadi was sitting in the food room when I walked in. I gave her her morning medicine and cleaned her up, then let her try to eat, while I finished up. She nibbled for a minute, then wasn't interested. So, we headed out to our spot. She was loving up every minute of her brushing and chin scratches! I saw Stormy had a couple new toys. I grabbed the burlap mousey and we had fun with that. She chased it all over. When we were done, I took Sadi back in to try and eat again. She did go back to eating, so that was good. This evening I found Sadi in the food room again, but she was actually in there eating some dry food! I hated to interrupt her, so I began to scoop the box first. She stopped when she heard me. I got her little nosey all cleaned up and gave her her meds. Then, I set her back down so she could return to her dinner.
This morning Scout was outside when I pulled up. He stood by the fence and waited to see who was here. As soon as I got out he started wiggling his heiny. By the time I got inside the fence, he was racing around being all silly! I guess someone was happy to see me! I said hi to him for a bit, then tried to get him to play. He wasn't interested at the moment. Next, I went to water the plants. I see that he did a number on a couple window screens while I was gone. Guess he's really not a big fan of the fireworks. Poor guy. I put the one on the table so he wouldn't step on it and hurt himself. We went inside next and he got his pill, while I checked on his food and water. Then, we went back out and I asked him where his ball was again. This time, he bounced his way over to get it and came running back to me. We had fun and played fetch for awhile! When he got bored with that, I sat on the step and he sat with me for some attention. He got a couple more treats before I left. I love how silly he looks in some of the pics I got! Haha.
