Chipper, RJ, Keaton & Pandora

This evening I walked in the garage and saw the boys. They came inside with me and were pretty excited. As I came in the house, I saw Miss Pandora as she decided to go outside. I took the boys through the kitchen and out to the backyard. They did their business, then we went in so I could read mom's notes. I gave Keaton his allergy pill, and the other boys their treat. Pandora hadn't come back inside yet. So, I filled their food and water bowls. She still wasn't back, so I went outside to try and look for her. All three boys came along and were racing around the yard. I couldn't see her, but I didn't have a great light to search with. Because I was out there, the backyard neighbor's dog wasn't coming inside for them. So, the boys and I went back in. I guess Miss Pandora was a little nervous, so I wasn't able to give her her medicine. I will try again in the morning.

Sophie & Roxy

Today I noticed the water was still standing in the yard. It didn't appear to have dried up at all. (If you haven't yet, and are able, be sure to check your email.) When I went out back, I saw right away that the girls were completely muddy! So, we stayed outside today. Sophie had mud half way up her legs and on her belly. I guess they were having fun! They both ran out to the middle of the yard and looked up at the tree. I noticed there was a squirrel up there that they were looking at! The little guy was taunting them. He'd come way down the tree, then would race back up when they got excited, and he'd sit there and screech at the girls. Since they were busy with Mr. Squirrel, they barely cared that I was there. Haha! I got them some food, water and a couple treats before I left.

Jerrie & Kimmie

This morning I saw Jerrie right away. He was sitting on the floor, soaking up some sunshine. He looked at me the got up to say hi. Kimmie was sunning herself as well, at the top of her kitty tower. I took care of their room quick, then took Jerrie his medicine. Kimmie had wandered out to the living room. She sat on the back of the couch and was looking out the window. I went to visit with Jerrie. I sat by him so he could stay in the sun. He was quite lovey this morning! He rolled to his side and thoroughly enjoyed his attention. Kimmie eventually came back in. This time she sat in the window in the front room to look outside. There was a kitty out there as I was leaving. That must be who she was looking at!

Gracie, Emma, Molly & the kitties

This morning was another cold and chilly one. I let Molly and Emma out right away. There were a couple loose dogs running around out there. That had the girls running along the fence for awhile! Henry and Smudge sat on the table for some attention, while they watched the girls play. Gracie took her turn, and was quick to come in since it was cold out. They all ate their breakfast. I was going to put Gracie in her room before I left. However, she had the door open within two seconds, as I walked away from it! So, I gave up on that. I don't want her to wreck the door. This afternoon Gracie was crazy with excitement when I came in. She waited inside with me, while the other two spend awhile outside. She took a quick break when it was her turn. I saw Micah sitting on the bed again. I walked up to see if he would let me pet him. Once I gave him a little chin scratch, he was all about getting some attention! This evening the girls all took their turns outside before dinner. After they ate, Gracie got some attention. I sat down and she raced under my legs to sit with me. She's my little shadow now! I had to leave her for a couple minutes to scoop boxes. Later, it was time to tuck the girls in for the night.

Cate, Carson & Bella

This morning the pups woke up when I came in. I let Cate and Carson out to do their business. Their water bucket was frozen solid, so I got them all some water in their crates. Sassy and Gracie went out when it was their turn. They stayed out for a couple minutes, then came back in and got their medicine. Since Cate had scarfed down her water, I let her out again once more. This evening the first two took their potty break. I got dinner ready and put some fresh water in their bucket outside. Gracie went outside for a bit, while Sassy finished working on her dinner. When I let Sassy out, I saw a shadow of a cat walking on the fence. I thought maybe it was Bella. It was! Except she was still in the garage. I was seeing the shadow of her standing in the window, reflected on the fence. Scared me for a second! Haha.
