Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let the boys out and they both did big stretches. They wandered outside to play for awhile. The grass was wet since it rained all morning, so they both had skinny little legs from their wet hair! Haha. They were having a blast out there today. A neighbor dog was out talking to them, so they both got worked up and were racing laps along the fence. Eddie came in for his pets. He ran back out to play shortly after. The boys were all excited about something they were hearing towards the front of the yard today. I had to go out and get them to come in for me. They were good boys!

Rusty & Ruby

It was storming and pouring rain out this morning. I let Ruby out and had her come out with me to do her business. She wasn't too happy about that, but she was a good girl. We came back in and they got their breakfast. After the pups ate, they went to sit in the front room. I took care of the other critters next. I didn't see Salem this morning at all, so she must have been hiding. I saw the turtles had eaten most of their food, so I got them a bit more. I sat with the pups for a bit, and they worked on their bones. This afternoon I let Ruby out and Rusty wandered out from the front room. It was still raining outside. I called Ruby out with me, and she quickly did her thing. She then raced for the dry house! Rusty didn't stay out long either. We all went to sit in the front room for awhile. The pups got all riled up and danced around for some heiny scratches. Once they settled down, they each had their bone to work on. This evening, I looked out in the yard and saw all five kiddos lined up at the fence, ready for their dinner! That made me laugh. I went in and fed the pups quick. By now, the rain had finally let up for us. The pups wandered out once they finished, to go do their business. I fed the other kids and had to dump out the water from their dishes first. Rusty and I got a little game of fetch in this evening. When we went in later, I had to confiscate a bone Rusty was snacking on. He kept trying to swallow it whole! He was an itchy boy this afternoon and evening, so I will give him the better medicine in the morning.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning it was storming and pouring rain outside when I arrived. I let Sadie out front and took Cole out back. He sure didn't want to go! We went back in and he was just shivering after I got him all dried off. I think the poor little guy was nervous from the thunder. I let Zoie out for a turn, then got everyone their breakfast. The girls took turns outside again after they ate. Since the rain wasn't coming down quite as heavy, I took Cole back out. It took him awhile, but finally he went. I don't think he was happy with me! Haha. This afternoon it was still raining outside. I carried Cole out and made him stay out with me until he pottied. He went a little quicker for me this time. The girls went out front for breaks. When everyone was in and dried off, we sat in the kitchen for some attention. Zoie was being silly, prancing and carrying her bowl around. Sadie kept trying to climb in my lap to steal her kisses! Cole got his heiny scratches, and would paw at me if I stopped, even for a second. Sadie and Cole went to the bedroom when it was time to go. I told Cole he couldn't go on the bed, since he was still a little damp. This evening the rain had let up in time for my visit. It was only sprinkling now. I let Sadie and Cole out of the bedroom. Sadie went outside for a potty break. Next, Zoie went out. I still hadn't seen Cole. Finally, he came to the kitchen with me. I think he didn't want me to make him go out in the rain again! Haha. I took him out and he did his business. The kiddos all got their dinners, then they got their pets in the kitchen too.
