Ladybug, Boomer, Bella & Bo

Everyone was very quiet when I came in this morning to let them outside. I think Boomer was pretty sleepy yet! He didn't feel like coming out of his crate for me right away. Once outside, they immediately started chasing along the fence after the golf carts! Ladybug came and sat in my lap for awhile and gave me kisses. Later I came by to let the puppies inside. I got their lunch ready and gave them their ice cubes. Ladybug lifted her head out of the ice bowl and had ice cubes stuck all over her face! I tried to get a picture but she shook them off too quickly. Ladybug and Boomer were busy playing with the treat balls. Bo climbed into my lap and Bella curled up on her pillow. This afternoon we played outside for awhile. They chased after more golf carts. The puppies started to get too warm since it was hot out, so we went back inside. I got them more ice cubes and Ladybug got them stuck in her hair again, so I helped her get them off. Tonight everyone was super excited to go outside! The puppies played outside and wrestled around with each other. The neighbor dogs were out tonight and everyone went over to the fence to see them. It had cooled off some, so I decided to take Ladybug and Boomer for a nice long walk. When we got back we spent a few more minutes outside, then I tucked everyone in for the night.

Ice cubes stuck in Ladybug's hair... poor girl!

Bear & Coco

This morning Coco came out of her room and followed me into the kitchen while I got their breakfast ready. She sat on a box that I had brought in a few days earlier and meowed at me. She climbed up to the back of the couch and continued. I came over to pet her and tried to feed her. She had me follow her back into her room before she ate for me. Bear was waiting for me to come see her too! She walked over and started purring right away. This afternoon I brought more food to Coco and she took a couple little bites. She got up and went to get a drink from the cup next to the bed, then climbed into her closet. I got her to eat a little bit more, then she got down and started wandering around the house. I followed her around and had her try to eat more while she was sitting in a window sill behind the couch! After she wouldn't eat any more I brought the food to Bear to eat while I pet her.

Dakota & Benny

Benny grabbed his blue ball and started racing around the living room when I came in. I let Kota out then got them both hooked up and ready to go. Benny wanted to bring his ball along. We took a nice walk today. Benny kept to the shade as much as possible! We stopped in the shady spots while they explored a little. They were very busy smelling everything today. We were on the opposite side of the street from the house on our way back. Benny saw his house and made a b-line to cross the street and get there as quickly as possible! They both cooled off on the tile floor for a little bit. I tossed Benny's ball for him while I rubbed Kota's belly, who was laying upside down next to me!

Boomer, Ladybug, Bella and Bo

The puppies were all barking when I came in this morning. I let everybody outside and they all hopped around by me and said hi. I walked over to the little gate and pushed on it. I think Bella could get through there if she wanted to, so I took a brick I found in the yard and proped it up against the gate. Later I came by to let the babies back in the house. They all knew I was there before I opened the door! I peeked through the window and saw them all waiting to come inside. I got their food ready and filled up all their toys with treats. This afternoon we all went outside for a little bit to potty and play. It was pretty hot out and Bella was ready to go in, so we eventually went back inside. Bo kept himself occupied playing with the red egg toy, trying so hard to get some treats out! I think Boomer had figured out the trick for one of the smaller balls and had gotten quite a few treats out of it. Bella and Ladybug stayed with me and got some attention. The girls both curled up on their comfy beds before I left. Tonight the puppies were all so excited to see me that they jumped up and down all the way to the back door and outside! They all chased after the big june bugs and other bugs that were flying around in the backyard for awhile. When we went inside I told them it was bedtime and they were so good that they all tried cramming into Bella and Bo's crates! I tucked Bella and Bo in for bedtime, then Ladybug and Boomer.

Just hanging out on top of the patio table!
