Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fudge, Fluffy & Kitty Cat

Boo met me at the door again and raced me into the kitchen for his treats. I went in to see Quartz and noticed that the rubber mat in the bathroom was soiled today... uh oh! Fudge and Fluffy were both snoozing on a chair in the living room. I let the girls in to eat while I cleaned up. Afterwards I went outside to feed Momma Cat. I called for her and she meowed back at me. She was hanging out in her pen and soon came to her spot by the truck. I checked her feeder and it was still standing where I left it. I went back in to spend some time with the girls. They both gave me lots of kisses! Then they did their usual pawing playfully at each other. Quartz was curled up in his spot by the dresser again when I went to turn the faucet off. I pet him for a little bit before I let the girls back outside. As I was leaving, Quartz was meowing at me from on top of the washer. So, I stopped and brushed Quartz and Boo for awhile!

Dakota & Benny

It was a very nice day for our walk today. Kota and Benny were both excited to get going. We took a nice long walk since it wasn't too hot out. Benny was eager to chase after vehicles that passed by us. Kota watched people from across the street curiously. Benny wanted to stop under a shady tree for a little bit to cool down on our way back. There were some lawn people across the street when we got back and Benny sure wasn't happy about that! It took a little bit to finally get him to get into the house. While they were cooling off the doorbell rang and Benny freaked out! A package was dropped off but he thought someone was here.

Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fudge, Fluffy & Kitty Cat

No one had gotten sick today, and the mats are all still dry. Yay! Boo followed me around and ran down the hall ahead of me after he finished his treats. Fudge and Fluffy were all snuggled up on the bed together. I pet them both for a little while, then turned on Quartz's sink since he was waiting. He likes to lay in the same spot everyday after he's finished drinking. I come in to find him curled up on the floor next to the dresser. I let the girls inside for their supper time. Suzzie had a dirty little nosie! Other than that, they were much cleaner than yesterday! While they started eating I went out to feed Kitty Cat. She was lounging on the sidewalk again. She waddled over to her feeding spot and waited for me. I checked her feeder in the hog pen too. It was knocked over on the ground with the top off, but was still very full. I guess that's one way to get the food out! The girls were waiting excitedly for me when I came back inside. They laid down by me while I pet them, then they started playing and goofing around. They pawed back and forth at each other. When they stopped, Heiny gave Suzzie lots of kisses.
Look at my dirty nose!

Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fudge, Fluffy & Kitty Cat

Today Momma Cat was laying out on the stone walkway in front of the house when I pulled up. She meowed at me and I came over to pet her a little before I brought out her food. Fluffy was sitting in the window watching us. Boo didn't like that I walked into the back room to get her food first. He pawed at the door and meowed until I came back through! When I returned, he got his treats then followed me to see Quartz, who was patienly waiting at his spot. Someone got sick in a few spots again today... At first I thought maybe Boo, because it almost looks like he may have an infected tooth. But, now I don't think it's Boo because it's mostly the solid dry food kibbles. The girls came in for their supper while I cleaned up. I don't know what they were up to since I saw them yesterday, but it must have been fun! They both had mud caked on them! Suzzie left little spots of dried dirt on the floor when she'd get up, so after they went back out I swept the floor quick. Silly girls! As I was leaving, Kitty Cat was lounging back in her spot on the stone walkway.

Bear, Coco & Mia

This morning I came in to find the baby gate open! Mia must have pushed on it or something, but it wasn't knocked over. The gate was still up, but the door was open and the latch was still locked. hmmm... Needless to say, the kitties food dishes were cleaned out! Coco was curled up in her closet when I came to feed her breakfast. I guess Bear was hungry, because she came to see me and started munching on the dry food bowl after I had refilled it. I let Mia back in from the backyard and we took a nice long walk. She got to spend the morning outside today since it was much cooler out! This afternoon Mia was ready to come back in when I got there. I had left some food out there for her, but she didn't have any interest. While I was petting Bear after Coco was finished eating, Coco came walking through the bedroom meowing at me. She said hi again, then went on her way to her spot in the office. After visiting with the kitties, I spent the rest of the time with Mia.

Dakota & Benny

Kota and Benny were sure happy to see me when I picked them up this morning! I could hardly get Kota to sit still long enough to get her collar on! They each curled up on a seat in the car and rode quietly home. Benny did a little bit of exploring. When we got home I dropped off their bag, then we went on our walk right away. They were already a little tired from playing at daycare, so they should be nice and sleepy later! It was nice and cool out this morning, so we took our long walk route. Since Kota discovered her "delicacies" on the sidewalk last time, she wasted no time today and frantically started scooping them up when she'd see them! We passed a little girl that was so excited, "Daddy look at those pretty puppies!".

Bear, Coco & Mia

This morning Mia completely rolled over for me when I came in the door! She laid on her back until I pet her tummy. I let her go do her business in the backyard and went to see Coco and Bear. Coco was sleeping on her perch in the office this morning. After I fed her breakfast, I spent some time with Bear. Bear always seems to give me that look like, "Where are you going? I'm not done yet!". I took Mia for a nice long walk since it was nice and cool out. If I touch her back while we're walking, she likes to stop in front of me and lean all her weight against me. She looks up and gives me that face that says, "You can keep petting me!". After we got home I thought about letting her stay outside for the morning since it was cooler out, but I'm glad I didn't because it started to rain heavily shortly after I left! This afternoon I found Mia sleeping on the couch in the sitting room. After I spent some time with Coco and Bear, I sat with Mia in the kitchen so she would eat. When she had finished, she went back to her spot on the couch. It was a good nap day! While I was petting her, I could hear Coco meowing. I meowed back at her, hearing her come closer each time. Eventually she found me and came to get pet some more! Tonight I walked over to get Mia's leash so we could take a quick walk before the rain hit. She knows when I'm headed for the basket and starts jumping around! She went potty right away, but then we didn't make it too far on our walk. She kept stopping in front of me so I couldn't go forward, then she'd turn around and head back for the house. I think she knew it was coming! Not long after we got back inside, the wind really picked up and the rain came. She followed me to the gate and waited there until I was finished spending time with the kitties. When I came around the corner she was so happy! She followed me to the living room, and I quick ran a circle around the couch. She happily chased after me, then rolled over on my feet after I sat down for her belly rub!

Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fluffy, Fudge & Kitty Cat

Suzzie and Heiny came up to the fence to say hi today, tails-a-wagging! I went in the house and Boo came out and got his treats before I went to turn on the sink for Quartz. Someone got sick a few times today, but no other surprises! The mats were all dry; so far so good. Fluffy and Fudge were both curled up on a bed, and they both let me pet them and didn't move or attempt to run and hide! I guess they've seen me enough times now. lol I let the girls in so they could eat and enjoy the cool house. Heiny did her usual eating circle... take a bite from one bowl, walk around the table to the next bowl, continue crunching on her food on the way back to the first bowl, repeat. haha! While they were eating, I went outside to see if I could find Momma Cat. I walked to the hog pen and tried calling for her. I heard a meow back at me, then she came out and walked over to me. She sure is big! I bet she'll be having them soon! I pet her for awhile, then went to go get a scoop of food for her. As I came out the front door she met me at the porch, then ran ahead and showed me where her food goes!

Mimi

This morning Mimi was just walking in from the living room to greet me. I pet her for a long time in the kitchen before I took care of her food, water and litter pan. She hopped into the sink while I was scooping out her food, and I was going to rinse off the spoon afterwards. She didn't try to move when I turned the water on! I guess she knew she had her body curved in such a way that she wouldn't get wet. She ran ahead of me into the living room for our play time. Today we played with her little brown blanket. I put my hand underneath it and moved it around. She stared, then moved her head in all sorts of directions excitedly, then pounced! She rolled around with the blanket and stuck her head under it, searching for the moving thing. Later it started to rain outside, so she sat in the window and watched.

Bear, Coco & Mia

This morning I said hi to Mia and let her go potty outside. Coco was curled up on the other couch in the sitting room, meowing at me. I went and pet her for a little bit before I got their breakfast ready. Bear woke up as soon as I walked in the room and moved closer for me to pet her. Mia and I went for a nice long walk again this morning. We passed a couple houses that had dogs outside. They were barking as we passed by, and Mia started to whine a little. When we got home, I sat in the kitchen with Mia for awhile to give her some company so she'd eat her breakfast. This afternoon I let Mia sit outside until she was ready to come back in. It was super hot and humid this afternoon, so she didn't want to be out too long. I brought Coco some lunch in her hiding spot in the closet. I could hear Bear calling for me! By the time Coco was finished eating, Bear had decided to come see where I was. Bear had some lunch while I pet her. Tonight Coco ate a good amount for me. Bear got down off the bed and had some supper too after I pet her for awhile. I took Mia for another long walk after I fed Coco and Bear. Once we got home, she sprawled out on the floor next to me. I sat at the dining table again with her so she would eat for me. She did like a good girl! Afterwards, she went and curled up by the couch in the sitting room and I spent some time with her. She's such a sweetheart!!

Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy

This afternoon I let everyone out in the backyard to go potty and get a drink while I got their leashes. They all were sitting by the door looking in, waiting to see what I was up to! As soon as they saw what was in my hand, they all got very excited. Rudy would hardly sit still long enough for me to get his collar on! When I let them in, they pulled me quickly through the house to the front door. There were some clouds out here and there, keeping the sun from beating down too much. We had a nice breeze too, so it didn't feel too hot and we were able to take a nice long walk. I let them play for awhile out in the backyard after we got home. They sure were thirsty! Rudy wanted to swim in the bowl of water again. He even gave me a cool bath! haha!

Mimi

This morning the neighbor ladies were keeping Mimi company again. I got to meet Lily and Half Pint this morning too! Mimi was waiting at the door for me and was very happy to see me. She walked in and out around my legs and let me pet her for a long time. After I got her canned food out, we played for awhile. I brought down her twisty tie and she went crazy chasing around after it! She ran and slid herself under the chair and batted at it, while rolling around. This afternoon Mimi was even more playful! She immediately went to her spot under the table and stuck her legs out to get my fingers. She zoomed out to her blanket and crouched down, ready to chase after anything. I brought the twisty tie out again and she chased after that and tossed it around for herself. Later, she was looking for something under the little blanket. She had her head all the way under it with her heiny up in the air! She settled down after awhile and decided to sit in her window and watch the birds outside.

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning I found Toby snoozing on the bed. He was pretty sleepy still and didn't move even after I had come in and started petting him! Once he got up, we went for a really long walk this morning. It was nice and cool out yet, and very quiet. All we could hear was the rooster somewhere in the distance giving his morning call. Toby must have found a trail from something, because he suddenly got excited and his little sniffer was going a mile a minute! He was pooped when we got home, so we just sat on the couch and he got a tummy rub. This afternoon Toby was in his spot on top of the couch with Morgan. Toby and I went outside for awhile so he could go potty. He could hear the neighbors outside talking and he sure didn't like that! He barked for a little bit, but was soon distracted. It was pretty hot and humid out, so he wanted to go back inside. He still hadn't finished his supper from last night, and usually he does by now. So, I stood in the kitchen with him to give him some company, in case that might help. It worked and he ate all his food for me! Morgan took advantage of Toby being occupied and he hopped up on the counter for some attention. He picked up the sunglasses on the counter! Silly kitty. I looked around for Tyson this afternoon but couldn't find him, so he must have a good hiding spot!

Luke & Maycie

Tonight I said hi to Luke and Maycie as I was coming through the door. Maycie started to bark and Luke made one little deep sound. But, as soon as I had passed the corner, Luke had his ball in his mouth ready to play! They both were wagging their tails and ready to go outside. Maycie said hi to me for awhile. Luke and I got right to our game of fetch. I grabbed his red ball off the table out back and threw that for him. He was trying to fit both that and the tennis ball in his mouth! He figured out if he grabbed the tennis ball first, he could hang onto them both. Maycie chased with him several times, and eventually got the tennis ball for herself. I would throw the red ball for Luke and she would toss the tennis ball for herself and go running with him! Silly girl! As it was getting darker, it started to take Luke longer and longer to find it. The last time he just gave up and laid in the grass. He was pretty tired out! We went back inside and I got them some fresh water to cool down.

You can throw that one, or that one, or both at the same time! I'm ready!!!

Bear, Coco & Mia

This morning Mia was watching out the window again. She rolled over as soon as I came in and pawed at me. I pet her for a little bit, then let her outside. She walked around to the other patio and laid out there while I got the Bear and Coco's food ready. After Coco finished eating what she felt like, I went in and spent some time with Bear. Mia and I went for a nice long walk this morning around the neighborhood. It's so funny to watch her dance around when I grab the leash! We avoided the sprinklers that were on in some people's yards. When we got home she curled up in the kitchen, then I rubbed her tummy while she laid by the couch. If I stopped, she would half sit up and paw at me until I started again. Such a cutie! This afternoon I let Mia hang out in the backyard while I spent some time with Coco and Bear. Coco was sleeping in her new spot in the closet. I woke her up to have some lunch and she ate about half of the food right away. Bear talked to me and loved up every second while I brushed and pet her! Coco was following me around the house and meowing at me. Mia was ready to come back inside after a little while since it was pretty hot out.  Tonight Mia was already standing at the door waiting for me, tail a-wagging! She started to dance around excitedly when I got inside and began to pet her. I was trying to head to the back door to let her out potty, but she was too happy getting pet that she wouldn't let me walk! I let her out back and spent some time with Bear and Coco. Bear perked up as soon as I walked in and started walking toward me. Coco came out too and had some supper before curling back up in her closet. Bear snuggled up with me while I pet and brushed her, and in return she gave me kisses. After a little bit I took Mia out for a nice long walk again. She was so happy! After I got her leash hooked up she raced to the door. She was pretty tired when we got home, and laid down on the floor while I gave her a good tummy rub. Mia eventually got up and walked into the other sitting room, so I followed her to see what she was up to. I guess she was ready for bed! She had curled up on one of the couches.

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

Toby barked as soon as he heard me shut my car door. He wasn't right there when I opened the door though. He was all crouched down on the couch, wiggling his little heiny! He came to say hi and then we went outside to play for a bit. When we came in he ran into the bedroom and curled up on the bed. Tyson was sleeping on the little pet bed in the corner. Morgan followed me in there and I pet him while I was talking to Toby. He hopped down and took over for Morgan! Toby and I played tug of war with a rope toy, then chased each other around the living room. Once he was tired, we sat on the couch and he got his tummy rubbed! Tonight when I got there Toby was excited to see me. Morgan came up to me right away while I was sitting on the ground to get some loving, then I sat on the couch to give some attention to Toby. We sat for a little bit before going for a long walk. It was a little cooler out, the sun had gone down, but still a little humid. When we got back he was pretty energetic yet and I chased him around the living room and he ran as fast as he could around the couches. So funny! He got tired out and spent a few minutes with me on the couch before I left for the night.

Mimi

This morning Mimi was sitting in her window, visiting with the neighbors who were outside talking. She was already at the door as I opened it. Mimi was very lovey today! She rubbed against me and I pet her as she walked back and forth. She hopped into the sink again while I scooped out her canned food. She had gotten out a purple feathery ball from her bowl since the last time I saw her. As I made my way into the living room, she quickly zoomed under the table and was ready to play! After awhile she decided to sit and watch the birds flying around outside. This evening Mimi wasn't sitting in her usual spot when I came to see her. I found her sleeping on mom's bed! After I said hi, she followed me out into the kitchen. She was happy to see me again and loved up all of her attention. She laid on her brown blanket in the living room, crouched down with her heiny in the air, ready to pounce! We played for a little while, then she sat and watched the birds outside again.
You can't see me, I blend in perfectly with this blanket!

Bear, Coco & Mia

Tonight Mia was sitting at the front door as I pulled up. She got excited and said hi to me for a little bit when I came in! I let her outside, but she just sat by the door. I got the kitties food ready and she was still sitting there, so I let her come back inside. Bear was making her way over to the food and started to meow at me. I pet her for a minute, then went back to see Mia. I grabbed her leash and she started dancing around so excitedly! Coco came out and meowed at us. I took Mia for a little walk. She had some soft stool tonight, so I will keep an eye on that. It didn't look like she ate much from this morning, so I'm sure she was just a little stressed. On our way back, some joggers passed by us and Mia decided to pick up the pace too! She curled up in the living room when we got home while I said hi to Coco and Bear for a little bit. I came back and sat with Mia and gave her a nice tummy rub before I left. She followed me to the door and watched out the window as I left. I don't think she or Bear wanted me to go!

Mimi

This morning Mimi was sitting in her window, watching the people outside. I met a couple folks that said they were playing with her through the window! When I got inside, she was already attached to my leg. She followed me around and rubbed up against me, purring away. After I took care of her things, we went and sat in the living room. We played catch with her blue plastic ring for a little bit. Then she curled up under the table and played. She swatted at my fingers playfully and poked her head out to watch me. This evening Mimi was meowing and giving me kisses on my leg as I walked in. I pet her for awhile and then got her food ready. She took a few minutes to eat, then we had some fun! She ended up under the table again, sticking her little paws out at me!

Dakota & Benny

It was garbage day today, so Kota and Benny had all kinds of fun smells to stop and check out on our walk! As we passed by some fences, Benny would walk in the little sliver of shade that was just wide enough to cover him. Kota was hunting birds today! She scooped up a few fried worms off the sidewalk too! Yummy! lol Once we got home, Benny laid down right as we got in the door until I got their leashes off. They both went out in the backyard for a few minutes. Benny just wanted to go grab a ball to play with! Kota laid in her kennel and fished out ice cubes that I put in her bowl for her. They both spent some time rolling around by me and getting their tummies rubbed!

Mimi

Tonight when I came, I checked the mail right away. As I was walking to the door, I noticed Mimi was sitting in the window watching me! As soon as I got inside, she was saying hi to me and giving me kisses. I refilled all her dishes and scooped her litter right away before we took time to play. While I was filling her dishes she followed me all around and even hopped up in the sink! I brought out her twisties and carton ring to play with. She was more interested in finding more out about me! I also tossed one of her tinfoil balls to her and she swatted at it several times. I grabbed some of her other things and tried to get her to play with me. She was just so intrigued by me that she just had no interest! Maybe tomorrow we can get to know each other more!

Dakota & Benny

Today Benny did his laps and also did his little dance for me! Sometimes while I'm going to let Kota out of her kennel, Benny likes to stand on his back feet and do a little dance for me. So cute! I forgot to bring a plastic bag along with me today, just in case one of them decides to do their business. We took a nice walk today, a little longer than normal. They were both so excited for our walk! While we were on our way, a yellow plastic bag filled with air was floating around past us like a balloon. Kota and Benny were both curious and started chasing after it right away! As soon as Benny got to it, he grabbed it and started shaking it around with his head. He held onto it long enough for me to get it from him, and luckily we were able to use it later! Kota was squatting a lot again to pee on our walk today... not sure if you guys narrowed it down to her marking yet or not. Once we got home, Kota laid right in her kennel and Benny hung out in the kitchen. Kota went out in the backyard to go potty quick and I grabbed a ball for Benny.

Caleb

This morning I let Caleb outside right away, but he didn't want to go potty. He was already in play mode! I waited out there until he finally did, then he got his breakfast. He was ready for his walk when he finished, so I got his collar on and then we went on our way. We took a nice long walk this morning. Caleb found a couple dried up froggies on the ground and had to run over and smell them. Thankfully he didn't pick any up! There were all kinds of things for his sniffer today. He stopped by each garbage can that we passed, found a few dried up critters, and even a melty candy wrapper! There were also lots of other people out walking in the neighborhood today. When we got home we played for a little while before it was time to go. This afternoon, I came in through the garage instead because I brought the bin back inside. Caleb was anxious to see who was here! We went outside for awhile and I brushed him. He wanted to go back in, so we played fetch and keep-away with several of his toys. He grabbed one of my shoes today, but I just ignored him and redirected by playing with one of his toys. He immediately dropped the shoe and was only interested in the toy I had! We went back outside again and he roamed around the yard. He brought me another one of those pieces of cardboard or paper that he found in the yard like the day I met him. He dropped it for me and went back to exploring! He saw a bird on the other side of the fence and was just watching it. If there wasn't a fence there, I'm pretty sure he would've hunted it down! Later we played with his giant tennis ball out there. It was so hilarious! He was running, rolling himself over it, and trying to pick it up! As I was giving him his puzzle toy and putting him to bed, I told him mom would be home later. He was such a good boy for me!
