Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I spotted Oreo racing down the stairs out of the corner of my eye. He met me in the kitchen and rubbed up against my legs while I got his dinner ready. I went and sat in the living room once I got done with their other things. I had to call for Oreo, then he came running from the entryway. He came and laid next to me for some attention. He purred away as I pet him. He lounged around by me and rubbed his chin on my ankle for a bit as well. He kept sitting up every time we heard a noise, which I assume was Stuffy coming down to snack. I hadn't seen him, so I went to see what he was up to. I peeked up the stairs and saw him just chilling on the stoop. I went and sat by him to pet him for a little while too. He thoroughly enjoyed his tummy scratches!

Katie & Sage

Today Katie was lounging in her house when I came in. She climbed out, then was ready to go run around for a bit. She stopped by me as I opened the door, then ran around the yard. She wandered all over, then had some fun rolling in the grass. I called for her to get her eye cleaned up, then fed her her dinner. Sage raced out of her side and ran all over from one end of the yard to the other. She had to stop and check out the hose, while I was cleaning up her side. She got her kong and we played some fetch when I was finished. I turned off their misters today before I left, because we are supposed to get some rain tonight, then it'll be cooler for the next several days.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I must have startled Rusty from his nap. He was laying on the couch and sat up with this hilarious look on his face! He even had one ear folded over. Haha. He got up after he heard me let Ruby out. They came outside with me right away. Ruby did her business, then she went to lounge on the patio for awhile. Rusty explored for a little bit, then he rolled around in the grass to get a good spot. He then laid on his side and enjoyed the afternoon, until he got warm and wandered in. Ruby was already inside as well, cooling off.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon Eddie came out and went on the hunt for a toy. He found one and came prancing back with it. He's so silly! Butler got his medicine, then the boys headed outside. They lounged on the patio for a little bit, but they spent the majority of their time exploring. They were over by the corner of the yard checking things out. Later, Butler heard a sound from the back of the yard, so he went over there to stare at the fence curiously. When the boys were warm, they made their way inside. They hopped on the couch and wrestled around with each other for a bit before it was time to go back to their beds.

Oscar

This afternoon my buddy met me at the door. He looked so handsome and had to show off his new haircut! Haha. He pranced around while I scratched his heiny. Then, we wandered outside. He spent some time lounging around in different spots in the yard, soaking up some sunshine. His Boxer friend was out today too, watching Oscar's every move. Eventually, Oscar was ready to head in. He went and laid on his chair until I got him to try and play. He picked out a toy that fit perfectly in his mouth. So, that wasn't gonna work for a game of tug! Haha. We got out his yellow tug toy and played with that for awhile instead.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came wandering in the kitchen when I arrived. She was busy loving on the cabinet in the dining room while she waited. She led the way to go deliver their breakfast. Sadi was sitting in the food room again when we got there. I got her cleaned up and she got her meds, then I set her down to eat. She wasn't too interested at the moment, so we went to our spot instead. She enjoyed a long brushing session. Stormy came strolling in when she was finished eating to groom herself. I tried to get her to play today, but she just ignored me. She did want a few pets though! I took Sadi back to eat before I left. This evening, Stormy was snoozing on her chair on the patio. Sadi was sleeping on the floor of the food room tonight. I woke her up for her medicine, then tucked her in her bed.
