Susie & Frank Fritz

Today I walked out back, then I heard the pups zooming around the corner to see me! Frank sure has grown! I bet he won't get a whole lot taller than he is. He was very excited to see me today and was bouncing all over the place. I got them each their dinner and put their bowls in their houses. Frank went right in and chowed down. Susie was pretty warm and didnt seem interested in eating at the time. She wandered off to lay in a shady spot in the grass. I got them some fresh cool water in their bowls. Frank drank a bunch right away. Next, I got them a nice cool treat from the freezer. They enjoyed that! Frank kept me entertained while he played with his plastic bottle that I brought out for him. I topped off their water before I left.

Taz & Clyde

The boys were right at the door, waiting to see who was here. I like Taz's cute bandana! The boys followed me to the laundry room while I picked out their dental chews. We headed outside for them to enjoy their snacks. Clyde laid by me to eat his snack, while Taz took his to a safe spot. Taz came back and stood by me for a bit to get his heiny scratched. The boys relaxed awhile until we headed back in the cool house. This evening I let the boys out for their potty break, then they came in for dinner. Clyde polished off his bowl and Taz nibbled a bit. Taz kept stopping to look at me and his ears would perk up. Once Clyde was done, we headed to the garage to get their leashes on. Clyde was crying and bouncing with excitement as usual! We took a nice long stroll around the neighborhood. We took a slightly different route, since I had seen a stray dog roaming around as I pulled up. We got home and they took one more potty break before bed. Taz went to finish his dinner while I refilled their water bowls.

Bella, Louie & Chico

Today the pups were very excited when I got there! I let them each out to go outside. Bella turned around to say hi quick before she took off to do her thing. I filled all their water dishes with some fresh cool water, since it was pretty warm out. I went to sit down and Chico bouced right up into my lap. Bella, of course, wanted all my attention to herself! Chico eventually jumped down and sprawled out in the grass to soak up some sun. Bella stayed with me to get pet most of the time. Louie hung out in the cool house, but would wander out now and again to explore. Bella was ready to go in and cool off when it was time to go. I got them all their peanut butter snacks to work on. Louie was especially excited to get his!

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie, Blackie & Sparkles

This morning Blackie wandered outside when I got there, after stopping to say hi. I let Hudson and the girls outside for a bit. They took their turns to get their paws wiped off when it was time to go in for breakfast. They all settled at their places to eat. Gabbie was a very bouncy little girl this morning! She was hopping across my legs, then would get on the couch and stand her front legs on my head. If I leaned away from the couch a little, she could still reach me! She and Hudson chased around the living room a bit, then were bouncing excitedly to go back outside. I took them all out again and they did their thing. Zel was by the fence the whole time, trying to look for critters. This evening Blackie was hanging out in his bed while I let the little ones outside. They played and explored for quite awhile. Gabbie and Hudson came inside for dinner, but I had to go out and get miss Zel. She was too occupied by the fence! They all ate and then we hung out in the house for awhile. Zel and Gabbie were having fun chasing each other and messing around. That ended with lots of kisses. We went out for one more potty break until they were ready to come in.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy gave me a meow when I walked in. She started rubbing against the cupboards until I got into the kitchen. She got her meds, then I got their food ready. She curled up on the net under the table while she waited. Stormy came to eat, as I got them fresh food and water. Sadi was sleeping under the foot of the bed again. She wasn't nearly as crusted up today, which was good. I got a lot of gook out! She sounds very good today and her eye is still looking better than it was. She wandered to the living room right away. Both girls sat with me and enjoyed their pets. Stormy was being a little attention hog today! She kept walking between Sadi and I, trying to steal away the hand I was brushing her with. She sat there and licked at me, then wandered back to the other side. Her little motor was so loud! Sadi just sat and tilted her head back, enjoying her brushing. Such sweet girls. We had a good time!

Mindy Lou & Chupie

This morning I got in and started getting things ready for our walk. I hadn't seen Mindy in the living room, so I walked into the bedroom to find her. I talked quietly to try and wake her without startling her. Once I saw she was waking up, I walked over to her. She was acting a little shy, so I sat down by her and gently pet her for a bit. Eventually, she got up and followed me to the door. We started on our way. As I was headed to the driveway, I noticed she had stopped. I kept going to see if she would follow, but she didn't. I went back towards her, then she gave me a tail wag and started trotting over to me. "Ok, I'm ready now!" It was a little cooler out this morning for our walk, but not much! It's going to be pretty toasty out this afternoon. When we got back from our walk, Mindy went back to her room. This evening Mindy was headed to the living room from the kitchen when I got there. I got her things, then we headed outside. This time she trotted along ahead of me with no worries. We didn't quite do all of her course, but just about. We stopped in the shady area and she sniffed around awhile. It was just so hot out today between the over 100 temps and humidity. I didn't want to push it. As we walked inside, I saw Chupie sitting behind the couch in the corner, curiously watching me. I got the girls a big bowl of fresh cool water. Mindy wandered into the kitchen with me, so I pet her for a bit. I noticed she had eaten some food for me after I left this morning. That made me happy!
