Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Rusty and Lance both wandered into the kitchen when I arrived. I let Ruby out, then the pups and I headed outside for awhile. The sun was nice and warm today. The pups were busy exploring around the yard. Rusty found his purple ball and dug that out of the leaves and snow. Later, we headed inside and went to see Lance. He sat on my lap for a minute, then was ready to play. Salem was in a playful mood today too! I could hear her messing around down the hallway. That even stopped Lance in his tracks! He stopped to listen, then slowly crept towards the hall to see what was going on.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today I saw Jerrie sitting on the top of his kitty tower when I walked in. Kimmie came into the kitchen to see me, while I sorted the mail. She sat on the back of a chair to wait for me to return from stopping in by mom and tending to their things. Jerrie hopped down from his perch to come see me. He laid next to me and purred away as I brushed him. Miss Kimmie wandered in and stopped by me for a quick pet. She then took over Jerrie's spot on the top of their tower. Jerrie climbed up to the middle tier just before I left, to watch out the window.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning the girls were in their same spots that I've been finding them. Stormy got up and did a stretch as she made her way across the bed to see me. Sadi was snoozing in her bed, nice and comfy. I woke her up and got her ready for her meds. She got all cleaned up and sounded pretty good this morning. The girls both worked on their breakfast for awhile. When Sadi was finished, I took her to the living room. Stormy followed along. Sadi sat and enjoyed her brushing today. I had Stormy busy chasing and playing with the shoe string, until she eventually wandered off. This evening Stormy was on the back of the recliner. She has a different spot every time! Sadi was sleeping again. I got her little nosey all cleaned up and gave her her evening pills. I set her by the food and water when we were finished, in case she wanted a drink.
