Kaya, Kylie, Reese, Madison & Max

This morning I let the pooches outside for their potty break. They came in and all the little ones ate. Kylie laid on the floor and was busy talking to me. Kaya came and stood beside me, then kept pawing at me to let her out. When the kiddos finished, we all headed outside. It was nice and cool out this morning. I think the cool air put some spunk into them! Kaya suddenly started running towards me with her butt hunkered down. She zoomed by and ran over towards Kylie, circled around and came back again. She did it a bunch of times and had me laughing. Ah, that silly husky run! Then later Kylie was racing laps around the yard, with Reese running behind her and barking and growling. Silly pups! Reese went crazy rolling around and itching herself on one of the chairs too. Max was pawing at me for some attention. He and Madison stayed close, but later they did some venturing as well. This evening the kiddos went out before dinner. Max, Madison and Reese all ate well again. Kaya and Kylie had finished one bowl of their food from this morning that I left out for them. They both laid around again. Kylie hopped up on the bed to get closer to my height to give me her husky "roo". Kaya was being sassy and kept knocking the blinds around to tell me she wanted out! I let them all go back out to play awhile before bedtime. Kylie was standing at the edge of the pool sniffing at the shark in there. Haha. Everyone was busy either exploring or just lounging around and relaxing tonight. When it was time, all but Kaya ran inside. I went back out, then she came running too. Silly lady!

Sadie, Chloe & Patches

This morning it was quite cool compared to the last few days. I came in and Sadie was barking, since she didn't see me at first. She quickly turned to being excited, and was ready to go out. She ran around and had a blast this morning. I went back in to feed Patches. She was ready to eat today too and hopped up on the table to wait for me to deliver her breakfast. Sadie came in to eat, then we headed back outside awhile. She ran around, then came and wanted some attention. She was acting all silly and kept pawing at me. Haha. It was going to be nice out today and not as hot, so I let her spend the afternoon outside. This evening I could see Sadie's shadow through the door. She knew I was there. I let her in to eat, while I scooped the kitty box. Patches was in the living room, so I brought her food over to her. Chloe was already hovering, so Patches didn't want to go over there. The girls finished up, then Sadie and I went out again. She had some more fun running around and visiting with the neighbor dogs. Later, she came to sit with me and gave me plenty of kisses. She knew what was to come when we headed inside for the night... a treat! Boy, was she excited!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning miss Stormy met me in the kitchen. She was meowing quite loudly at me today! I guess she wanted me to know she expected some attention later. Haha! She followed along and we met Sadi in the food room. I got her ready to go and she got her pill, then she got to eat a little. Afterwards, we went to our place and she got pampered for awhile. Stormy came over and was rubbing up against my back. She enjoyed some chin scratches as well. I got her playing with her feather toy for a bit after that. This evening I came in and Stormy was laying on the mat in front of the stove. I've never seen her sit there before! She must have found out how comfy it was. Haha. She hopped up and meowed at me some more, as I went to check on Sadi. She was snoozing away in her bed. She got her evening meds, then I tucked her back in.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I let Ruby out and Rusty came running into the living room. We headed outside to enjoy the beautiful day! Ruby explored around the patio a little bit. She eventually wandered off to do her business. She picked a bad spot though, right in the garden! Rusty lounged for a bit, then did some sniffing around as well. He grabbed his purple ball for us to play some fetch when he was ready. He let me know when he was done today, and headed for the door.

Daisy & Figaro

Today miss Daisy was sitting up by the window when I arrived. She actually waited there and didn't hop down when she heard the food can open, like she usually does. I refilled her dry food and made sure she had enough water as well. She just sat and watched. I went out to take care of Figaro 's things next. I didn't see her, so I called for her several times. She must be out roaming around on such a nice day. Of course as I was pulling away from the house, I spotted her!

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar saw it was me, then headed for the back door. He wasn't going to wait for me today! Haha. He stopped at the back for a few pets, then ran outside. Today, it was so nice out! Oscar thought so too. He went right for his frisbee, wanting to play today! I chased him around until I could grab ahold of it. Then, we played tug for a bit. When he finally let go, I threw it and he ran to get it. But, he was tired now, so he laid down with it. Haha. Oh well. It was a nice day to lounge too. The neighbor dogs came out after awhile and Oscar perked up, interested. He took a minute, but then he ran over to the fence to say hi. When it was time, we headed in and he got a couple snacks.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon the boys came out of their beds, said hi quick and headed outside. It was a beautiful afternoon! Two of the neighbor dogs were out at different times, so that kept the boys busy today. They would race to the fence to try and spot them, then Butler kept running back and forth. Since Butler was busy racing and preoccupied with the other dogs, I did a sneak attack to apply his medicine. He barely noticed! Haha. Eddie had fun rolling around in the grass for awhile. When all the excitement was over, they picked a spot on the patio to lounge.

Winston

This afternoon I let Winston out and he wandered to the door. He got his leash hooked on, then we went outside. It was beautiful out today! We took advantage of the cooler weather and took a nice long walk. Winston wandered around and checked out the trees and random spots in the grass that must have smelled interesting. He saw some little kids outside that intrigued him. Later, another pup spotted him and was getting crazy excited! We only had a few minutes left when we got back, so Winston snuggled up for some back scratches. He got a couple snacks before I left for being such a good boy, and of course, for being so darn cute!
