Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy

This afternoon I let everyone outside in the backyard to go potty when I got there. I gave them some nice cool water and boy were they thirsty! I brought their leashes out back to get them all hooked up. They were all pretty excited! Rudy could barely hold still for me to get his collar on him! We walked until the little ones started to get too warm, then headed back home. I gave them more cool water and Rudy was lovin that up. He stuck his whole face in, then one paw... I think he wanted to go swimming! They spent a little time cooling off in the house before I gave them their treats and put them to bed. This evening they were happy to get outside again. They all were running around the yard like crazy! I left the light off to try and keep the bugs away and every now and then would see a flash of one of them zooming past me! Someone was lighting off fireworks in the distance and they all started barking at the sound. Rudy had a blast rolling around in the grass a couple times! They'd all come by me for some attention, then all three would zoom off together either chasing each other or some unusual noise they'd hear!

Caleb

Caleb was so excited to go for his walk after breakfast! He couldn't sit still long enough for me to get his collar on! We went for a nice long walk again this morning. There were lots of dogs out today in their backyards. They all had to bark to say hi to Caleb! Once we got home, he was pretty pooped out. I tossed his squeaker toy for him a few times. He was too tired to even want to play! He only walked over to get it a couple times, then gave up completely. He laid down by me to get pet for a little bit before we went to sit outside. I brushed him for a long time out there. I set the brush down to get his cable all untangled for him. He picked it up and brought it over to me, "Can you brush me some more please?". He sat so well and even laid down for a bit while he got brushed. When we went in I filled a couple of his puzzle toys with treats for him to play with. When he got frustrated with one, he would switch to a different one!
