Chica & Paco

Today I saw Chica and Paco as I walked in. Paco came running over to see me! He's way too cute!! He was meowing and rubbing up against my legs as I walked around. I filled up their food dish and made sure they had enough water. I scooped their boxes next, and Mr. Paco decided he needed to use it right away. Haha. Chica would occasionally hiss at him when he would run over to her. He sure loves his new big sister. I got Chica a little bit of canned food and she hopped up on the counter. Paco wanted a little too, so I gave him a teeny bit as well. When we were done messing around with their things, it was time to play! I had a cat toy in each hand, and had them both jumping and chasing around. Once in awhile, Paco would sneak after Chica's toy, would grab it and run off with it! He's hilarious. Chica wasn't in too much of a lovey mood today. I gave her some chin scratches when she wanted them, but she was more interested in playing, or just keeping her distance from the little one. I laid down on the floor by him and he came over and was just rubbing his tiny face against mine the whole time. You picked another sweetheart. :)

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I let Ruby out and she made her way to the back door. I went to get Rusty, who was lounging in his chair in the front room. I grabbed his ball, then we all went out the living room door. Rusty waited for me to throw his ball for him. He got it, then decided to lounge in the grass awhile. Ruby did her business, then she hung out on what remained of the patio. Eventually, she went out and explored a little. Rusty was finally ready to play some fetch. We got a long game in today. We had to quit when he was getting too tired, so he could cool off and get a drink.

Winston

This afternoon my little bud was waiting for me. He came up to the gate and was wiggling his little heiny. We went outside right away for his afternoon walk. It was pretty nice out today. He quickly did his business, so we continued walking around a bit after that. We made sure to avoid momma bird's area! Haha. So, there weren't any incidents today. We headed back to the house after awhile to play. Winston grabbed his green bone and was "rrr-rrrr-rrrrrr"-ing at me as we played. I saw his orange monster dude on the chair, so I grabbed that for us to play tug with instead. Occasionally I would toss his green bone, so he would drop the orange toy and go race off for it. One time he brought the other toy, ran over there and came back with the same orange toy. Haha! He's so silly.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let the boys out when I arrived. Eddie, of course, had to stop and say hi first. When I got outside, the boys both were trying to hop on the table to say hi. They're so silly! Eddie seemed pretty eager to try and snack on my arm today! Crazy boy. He kept play mouthing me. When i told him he didn't want to eat me, he went off to explore in the yard. They crack me up. The boys lounged around on the patio for a good amount of time. Eddie went inside for a bit to cool off. Butler seemed pretty interested in the side neighbor's fence today. He kept sniffing over there, checking things out.

Oscar

This afternoon, the happy little nose of Oscar was right there to greet me. He let me pet him hello, then he excitedly went to the back door. We went outside and he wandered around a bit. It didn't take long, before he decided to find a sunbathing spot in the grass. I got out his frisbee toy and tossed it for him. He just looked at me, not very amused. Haha. Later, he went and got it and we played tug for a few minutes. He pooped out pretty quick and was ready to go back in to get a drink. After he quenched his thirst, I grabbed his sharky and we messed around with that inside for awhile. He was happy to get his snack before I left.

Daisy & Figaro

This morning I could hear Daisy in the laundry room when I walked in. She was sitting in her spot on top of the washer and dryer. I got her some fresh water. After she saw me grab her food dishes, she made her way down to her bowl area. She sure likes her yummy food! She got to work on that, so I went out to visit Figaro. Just out of curiosity, I took a peek today and Figaro is indeed, actually Miss Figaro. :) I had called for her and was starting to fill her food dish when she finally appeared. She came over for some pets. Not long after that, she decided to hop up on the table to get a bite to eat. When she was finished, we had some fun with her kitty toy. She made me laugh. A couple times she was hopping around after it, being all silly. She's not the easiest to get a picture of, since she's so wiggly!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy was up and saying hi to me in the kitchen, while I got breakfast ready. She followed along as soon as I finished, ready to to eat. Sadi was laying on the floor by the food, just relaxing. While Stormy was busy eating, I cleaned Sadi's nose up and gave her her pill. I let her nibble a bit when we were done. Then, we headed to our spot. Stormy was having fun rolling around and chasing her toys. Sadi just sat and was happy to be loved on. :) I took her back by the food when we were done, so she could get a little more before Stormy ate it all! Haha. This evening Stormy was chilling out on her patio. Sadi was snuggled up and snoozing in her bed. I got her cleaned up and gave her her meds. She had quite a bit of discharge and was still stuffy after, so I gave her the yellow pill as well. I let her get down and cleaned up their box when she was done.

Major & Boomer

This morning Major was outside and he started barking as soon as I pulled up. I didn't see Boomer, but I soon realized he was already at the door waiting for me! Major was walking in just as I was, and both boys started getting excited for their breakfast. They stood right behind me to wait, while I got everything ready. Boomer went to his spot at the doorstep, then I gave Major his in his spot. He got his insulin and didn't even flinch. Afterwards, the boys went outside while I cleaned up and got them some fresh water. Boomer stuck by me most of the time for some attention. Major came trotting over later with something in his mouth. It was part of a toy! He was whining a little, so I thought he might want to play. I tossed it for him, not very far of course. He was still able to find it. Then, he wanted a belly rub. That got Boomer jealous, so he kept trying to stick his head under my arm that was petting Major. Haha. As I was leaving, I noticed there were a few deer right in front of my car! I was able to walk pretty close to one without it getting scared off. Pretty cool!
