Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy

This afternoon I came in and let each one out to go potty right away. They all did really good for me! Roxie was actually too excited to go potty, and just wanted me to pet her. So, I got the other two and we went for a walk right away. The rain had finally stopped, just in time! We went for a nice long walk, and the little ones got pretty pooped! They all walked very good for me. The sidewalks were still pretty wet, so they all were soaked about half way up. I dried Ralphi off first, and he didn't want to go back inside until I got Roxie and Rudy finished. When we got back they all were so thirsty! Since they drank so much I took them each out to go potty one more time before I put them back to bed. Tonight they all went potty for me and came right back inside. Roxie and Rudy both wanted all of my attention! Rudy kept giving me kisses. Ralphi would squeeze his way in once in awhile for some attention too. They were all pretty mellow and walked around in the garage and laundry room. We will have more fun tomorrow when we can take a couple walks. When I grabbed their treats, they went right to bed for me. Such good puppies!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

I let the boys out to go potty tonight. Sugar hid under the bed for awhile, then came to the door and barked so she could come outside with us! The boys did their hunting around for awhile. Jimmy ran along the fenceline with the neighbor dog a little bit. He must recognize the sound their door makes, because he ran right to the fence before I knew what he was doing! Sugar apparently doesn't like to get wet. She went potty, then came back and wiped her feet on the "Wipe Your Paws" rug! haha! Then she rolled around in the doggie bed before she sat at the door, ready to go back inside. After we went in, I gave the boys their meds. Buddy started digging in the food dish and had kibbles all over the floor and in the water bowl. He stuck his whole nose in the water to grab the kibbles out, then shook his head to get the water off! Charlie was talkative tonight. He said "hi" and I heard a pretty distinct "Buddy"!

Did you find anything yet Buddy?

Clovis, Snickers, Sophie & Patches

I saw Patches a couple houses down today and he came running when he saw my car. Clovis was in her usual spot in the window. After I put the food out, I set two plates on top of the hot tub so Patches wouldn't get them and I walked to the side of the house to called for Snickers and Sophie again. I went in to fill the dry food dishes and when I came out, Snickers was there eating his food on the hot tub cover. Sophie came around the corner too and said hi to me. Patches had finished his food and was headed for Sophie's, so I put him in the house again until they were done. I think I know why Snickers and Sophie had not been home for a couple days.... there's a new kitty in the neighborhood! I saw Snickers suddenly arch his back and jump like he was scared. I looked and there was another cat peeking his head around the corner. He looked like he'd probably been in a fight or two! He was missing some teeth and his jaw looked pretty awkward. I walked over to get a better look, but it ran off. I went out front to spend some time with Snickers and Sophie again today. Snickers made himself comfortable on my hood again, but Sophie stayed and snuggled with me. The other kitty was nearby, hiding in the bushes, so they kept a watchful eye out for it.

This is the new kitty in the neighborhood.

Kira, Lisa Lee & Bunky

Kira met me at the door today. Bunky was laying by the food dishes and Lisa Lee came running into the kitchen as soon as she heard me talking! Lisa Lee was following me around and talking to me. After I took care of their food, water & litter box, I got them some of their canned treat food. Kira and Lisa Lee waited in the kitchen, staring at me! When they were finished, I gave them all a good brushing. Bunky was purring loudly the whole time, even when I wasn't brushing her! Lisa Lee hopped in my lap while I was brushing Kira, and she kept rubbing her head against me.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Everyone went outside for a little bit this afternoon. It was lightly raining so I don't think they minded as much. They were all very thirsty! Sugar came in and started chewing on some threads on the carpet piece by the wall in the dining room. I got her to stop, but then she wanted to go back outside. She started chewing on some grass out there, so she must have an upset tummy. The boys were up to their usual... I gave them all some food in their cage, so we'll see how Sugar feels tonight.

Dakota & Benny

It was storming all morning, but the thunder and lightning stopped and the rain slowed to a sprinkle by the time I came to see Kota and Benny. So we went for our walk today! Benny got pretty soaked with all the water on the sidewalks. Kota had fun walking through the puddles! Since she's shedding pretty good now, some of her hair started floating around in the wind ahead of us. Then, Kota would try and chase after it! She peed twice on our walk today. I dried them off real good when we got home. While I was drying off Benny, Kota went and stood in the bathroom. Maybe she wanted a bath? I don't know!

Jerrie

Yesterday Jerrie was already at the door and started meowing at me as soon as he saw me! He followed me all over while I did my chores. He even came in the laundry room with me, until I started vacuuming. I have been vacuuming everyday to keep on top of the litter, but today I found a little trail that went all the way around the dining room table! Jerrie was very lovey and purred the whole time. He was a little more playful and batted at the string on my camera. Today Jerrie was sleeping on the bed when I came in. I said hi to him, then took care of his food, water and litterpan. In the dining room there was a spot of what looked like grass that was vomited up on the floor, so I cleaned that up. It looks like he was having fun playing with a little green ball after I left yesterday! I hadn't seen it before and it was laying in the middle of the floor today. Jerrie was pretty sneezy when I was petting him today, but that didn't stop him from enjoying his attention! He didn't want me to leave today, and followed me to the door.
