Taz & Clyde

This morning the boys were bouncing up and down excitedly when I walked in the door. We headed outside so they could go potty quick. I gave them their breakfast to work on next. Taz decided he was just going to guard his food for now, and maybe eat it later. After Clyde finished, I asked if they wanted to go for their morning walk. It is supposed to be a rainy day today, but luckily it hadn't started yet. I thought we should try to get our walk in while we could. The boys were excited and danced around in the garage while I got them hooked up. We headed on our way and were able to get our full long walk in! When we got back we sat outside for a little bit longer. I had pretty good timing today. Not long after we had gotten back, then the sky opened up and the rain started coming down pretty good. We even saw some hail this morning. I let the boys back inside right away and Taz got to work on his breakfast. Clyde followed me to the door as I was leaving and thought he was going to go for another walk! This afternoon I came and let the boys out back. It was a bit drizzly out, but was nice under the covered patio. I got them each a rawhide to work on while we were outside. Clyde sure knows how to make ya nervous with those things! Eventually they both finished their treats, without issue. We spent our visit in the backyard, since the downpours had been off and on all day so far. Clyde sat near me and enjoyed a back scratch. Taz was happy exploring about the yard and getting excited at any noises he heard. I cleaned up their paws before they came in, then made sure they had plenty of fresh water before I left. This evening I thought we might get a walk in, but the rain started just as I was nearing the house. Taz and Clyde went outside for a potty break. I wiped up their paws, then we headed in for their dinner. Both ate and licked their bowls clean. I knew what they wanted to do next, but unfortunately,  not tonight. Later we went back to sit in the patio area to get least some time outside. When it was time to head in I got them each a bedtime treat.
