Gracie & Sadie

This morning the girls were both excited when I came in. Who is it this time? Haha. I let them out back while I got their breakfast ready. Sadie was ready to come in. Gracie was still doing her business. She came in when she was ready. Gracie wasn't too interested in her food this morning. She picked at it a little, but then wandered off to the living room. I guess she was done! I let Sadie out and we headed outside. It was a beautiful morning! Lots of other pups were outside this morning enjoying the weather too. That kept the girls busy racing around the yard to say hi and see what the others were up to. This afternoon I came in and only saw Gracie in the hall. I looked in the office and didn't see Sadie there either. I finally heard her getting up. She was snoozing in the dining room behind the table. The girls came outside with me and spent some time lounging around. They had the right idea. Both girls found a cozy spot in the grass to relax and soak up some sun. Gorgeous day! This evening Sadie and Gracie were both ready to see me. They went out potty and came back in for dinner. Both ate well. After dinner, we went out back to relax. It was pretty quiet out in the neighborhood tonight. Sadie laid on the patio near me, so she could get her pets. Gracie sat closeby, but in the grass. Occasionally she'd get up and wander off to sniff at something. When it was time, we headed in and got them their snacks. They did great!

Gracie & Sadie

It was a typical day today. I came in and Sadie greeted me with her hugs. We headed out back for a quick potty break. The girls came back in and ate their breakfast. Both ate well. After breakfast, we went outside to enjoy the beautiful morning. It was much cooler out there today. The girls relaxed and lounged on the patio. Gracie would get up and make her way around the yard, sniffing around at things. This afternoon it had gotten much warmer, but was much more comfortable than it had been this week. The girls had some entertainment outside this afternoon. They were busy racing from one side of the yard to the other to check out sounds or say hi to neighbor dogs. This evening I came in and no one came to meet me. Gracie was standing down the hall, ready to head out back. I was wondering where Sadie was, then saw she was snoozing away in her bed in the office. She woke up by now and was ready for her potty break. The girls came in and both ate their dinners for me. After that, we went back outside to hang out. They were watching for birds and squirrels tonight. Lots of sounds in the area kept them busy racing around to check it out.

Rusty, Ruby & the gang

This morning I let Miss Ruby out and she ran ahead to her bowl. She stuck her nose in the container ans supervised to make sure I got the right amount of food out for her. Haha. Rusty was still snoozing. Ruby and I headed out while she did her thing. Rusty came out later and took his potty break next. I fed Salem and gave her her meds, while Sheba was busy following me around and meowing at me. The turtles got their tomato breakfast this morning and their heat lamp turned on. Sheba and I got a few minutes of playtime in before it was Rusty's turn. He was outside waiting with his ball. Ruby came back out with us since it was a nice cool morning. This afternoon was much more comfortable than it had been all week. The llamas were laying in the shade, so I turned their mister on for them. Ruby did her business, then the pups lounged around outside. Rusty had to do his grass roll of course. Sheba was waiting for me to come play. She had fun chasing her mouse toy around. She hopped up in my lap for some pets as well. Back outside, Rusty had found the tiny piece of purple ball that he had left and wanted to play with that. Haha. This evening Ruby heard me come in and she lined up at her dish. Rusty was too comfy in his chair. She and I went outside to turn off the mister and get her potty break in. Rusty came outside as well. I went back in to check on Salem and feed her her dinner. Sheba got her playtime and then Rusty got his. Everyone is doing great!

Rusty, Ruby & the gang

This morning I let Ruby out and she ran to her bowl for breakfast. After she finished, she and I went out for her potty break. Rusty must have still been sleeping. Eventually he came out to join us. I went in to feed the girls and the turtles. Salem got her medicine. Sheba was following me around and putting her evil ears on. (See photo haha) I think she was upset that we weren't playing yet. Haha. Every time I went into a different room, I'd hear her race from one end of the hall to another. Crazy cat. She got her mouse time in. She would jump up in the air to pounce on it. She was cracking me up. I went back outside to play with Rusty next.   This afternoon the pups came out and lounged in the grass to sunbathe. Ruby snuck back in on me while I was turning the mister on. I made her come back out to do her thing. She sure had some energy to burn! She started zooming around and around the yard, and even leapt over Rusty! Haha. I noticed Justin was hogging all the cool misty water. He was standing directly in front of it, blocking the other two that were lounging nearby. I went inside to play with Sheba a bit. I found Salem napping on the doggie bed too. After I visited the kitties, it was fetch time for Rusty. This evening Ruby came bouncing over to her food dish. She gobbled it up, then it was time to head out. It took her some convincing, then she finally went potty for me. After she did her thing, I fed the llamas and refilled their electrolyte bucket. Salem got her dinner and Sheba got some playtime. Rusty waited at the door for me for his turn. Ruby was a good girl and went right to bed when it was time. She of course got her bedtime snacks too.

Gracie & Sadie

This morning Sadie was excited to greet me. I let the girls out back for their first potty break. After they did their business, it was time to come in and eat. I let Sadie into the garage for her breakfast. I heard her paw at the door to tell me she was finished. Gracie was hesitant to eat, but she did after a little coaxing. Both girls ate all their food for me. We headed back outside to enjoy the morning. The girls just lounged. Lazy morning. This afternoon I was greeted with a big hug again when I came in. Haha. The girls followed me outside and we spent the whole time out back. Gracie was off roaming around and checking things out in the yard. Sadie laid near me, relaxing. She'd get up and help Gracie explore now and again. But, she'd always come back for some pets. This evening I came in and Sadie did great! She didn't even try to jump up. (We've been trying to work on it.) It could be that I'm just old news now. "Oh, just you again." Haha! The girls went potty while I got their dinners ready. They came in and both ate well. After dinner, Sadie led the way and we headed back outside. It had rained a little earlier, so it had cooled off a bit, making for a beautiful evening. The girls and I sat out back to enjoy it. Both girls were busy checking things out. They had to run over and say hi to the neighbor dogs too. When it was time, we headed in and they got their bedtime snacks.

Gracie & Sadie

This afternoon I was greeted with big puppy dog hugs! Haha. Sadie was just a little excited. The girls followed me and we headed out back. They both came over for some pets at first. Eventually, the girls wandered off to go explore. It was pretty hot out this afternoon, so it wasn't long before they retired to the porch to lounge. This evening I came in and Sadie was trying to give me hugs again. Haha. I tried to distract her so she wouldn't. I let them out back to potty, while I got their dinners ready. When they came in, they were ready to eat! I put Sadie out in the garage until Gracie was finished. They both ate well for me. After dinner, we headed back outside. They roamed around a lot more this evening. We had a small storm come through a little bit before I came, so things cooled down some. Sadie got pretty excited when a runner came down the path. Haha. When it was time, we headed in and I gave them each a bedtime snack.

Noell & Navi

This morning Navi met me in the kitchen. I went out back to water the plants and Noell was hanging out on the patio. She rolled around and stretched her paws out at me. She got a few pets before I went out. The girls waited while I got their breakfast ready. Then, Navi helped me scoop their box. She was ready to use it as soon as I finished. Haha. Back at our spot, the girls came over for some pets. I grabbed their mouse toy and we played with that for a bit. They both grew bored with that pretty quick. I got the laser light out and they both ran some laps. I think we woke someone up too. Oops!

Rusty, Ruby & the gang

This morning I let Ruby out and Rusty joined us in the kitchen. He got his pill and Ruby ate, while Rusty then ventured outside. I put his food up so a certain someone won't get it. Haha. I went out with Ruby to make sure she took care of business. While they messed around outside I filled the electrolyte tank up with fresh water. Inside, I found Salem sitting on the guest bed. She must have known I was coming soon. She seemed to be waiting for me. Haha! I gave her some pets, then got the turtles their water and tomato breakfast. I called Salem when it was her turn. She followed me and went to her spot for her food and meds. This morning Sheba and I played with her mouse toy instead of the laser. She was having a blast with that! She would tackle it and tumble around. Rusty was waiting by the door for me to come out and play. It was a beautiful cooler morning for it. This afternoon the humidity made it hot out again. I turned the mister on and had the pups come out to potty. Sheba and Rusty each got their play times in. This evening Ruby was bouncing around as usual. She got her food and promptly licked her bowl clean. Rusty was going to wait again until later. Ruby took a little convincing to do her business tonight, but eventually she did. She kept trying to run back to the patio, but I kept on her. Haha! The big kids got dinner, then I went in to feed Salem. She got some pets, then I saw Sheba was staring at me, waiting. Goofy girl. We played with her mouse toy again. Then, it was Rusty's turn. A small storm had just passed through, so that cooled things off a little for us. When it was time, I went inside. Ruby is such a good girl!! I didn't even have to say anything, she just knew it was bedtime and wandered into her bed on her own.

Rusty, Ruby & the gang

This morning I let Ruby out and she was racing around the house, all excited to eat. Rusty came and got his pill and worked on his food as well. When they finished, we made our way out back. Ruby was full of energy this morning, bouncing around like a little baby deer! Just having a blast! Haha. I topped off the water tank while the pups did their business. Sheba followed down the hall and waited in her spot for breakfast to be delivered. I found Salem lounging on the guest bed. I carried her into the bedroom to her spot to feed her and give her meds as well. The turtles got their sticks and fresh water. I turned their light on for them so they can bask away in the "sunshine". Haha. Sheba was now following me around again, desperately trying to get my attention. We played for a bit before I went out to play some fetch with Rusty. This afternoon the humidity returned, so I turned the mister on for the llamas. They enjoyed that. I went in to get Ruby, then had them come out to do their thing. Sheba got a little play time, then I went back out again. Rusty was at the back door, just waiting for me to come play. He got a few throws in before he was pooped from the heat. Time to head in and cool off. This evening Ruby came running, as usual. Time to eat! Rusty wasn't interested at the moment, he was ready to play. So, if put his food up for now and will put it down after Ruby is in bed. I got the llamas their dinner and they all came racing. Chloe was curious and gave my head a sniff while I dumped the water out of her bowl from the rain this morning. Haha. Rusty and I got our fetch time in before bed. I tucked Ruby in and fed the kitties as well.

Noell & Navi

This morning Navi was first to come greet me. Just in case I forgot, she showed me where her empty dishes were. Haha! She waited in the kitchen while I got their breakfast ready. Noell was just hanging out in the living room. I scooped their box quick, then met them at our spot. I grabbed out their fishy toy and both girls were chasing after it. We tried to be quiet, but their tags were jingling away. Haha! Oops! Noell got bored with the fishy, so I got out the laser light. She ran a few laps, then disappeared down the hall. Navi took her turn chasing the dot next. After awhile, she went and sat in the front window to check out the neighborhood.

Rusty, Ruby & the gang

This morning I got the pups up and outside to do their business. When they came in, it was time for breakfast. Rusty got his medicine, then Salem got hers. I fed the kitties and turtles next. Sheba was following me around, so I took a little time to play laser light with her. Rusty and I headed out back for some fetch too. It was pretty comfortable out this morning and wasn't supposed to get as hot today, so I left the mister off. I changed out the electrolyte bucket and fished the leaves out of their main water tank. I made sure Ruby finished her business, then put her back in her bed with a snack. This afternoon Ruby, Rusty and I went out back while they did their business. I went in to turn off the turtle turtle light and check on the kitties. Sheba was zooming around the house, wanting her attention time. We played for a bit, then I went back out by the pups. They were lounging in the grass.  I turned on the mister since the humidity was up and it was feeling pretty hot out by now. They all came to lay down and cool off. This evening I came in and the pups greeted me. Ruby came racing around the corner to remind me that it was dinner time! I fed the pups quick. While they were working on dinner, I gave Salem her meds and fed her her dinner. When the pups finished, we went out back to feed the big kids. Rusty found his ball and we got a good game of fetch in. When I went back in, Ruby joined me and asked for seconds. Haha! Sheba got some zoom time in before it was time to tuck Ruby in bed.

Rusty, Ruby & the gang

This afternoon I came in and started reading notes quick. The pups must have been napping. They both strolled in to see me after a couple minutes. Sheba of course was meowing at me to play. I took the pups out back and made sure Ruby did her business. After they pottied, the pups found spots in the grass to lounge and sunbathe. I went in and checked on Salem and turned the turtle light off. Salem got a little attention, then I went back out by the pooches. This evening I came in and Ruby raced into her room, ready to eat! I fed her, then the pups followed me out back while I fed the big kids. Hey Day was just as eager to eat. Justin was wading through the pond to come get his. I went back inside after I made sure Ruby pottied. I gave Salem her meds and fed her some kibble. Sheba came wandering in as I did that, so I had her come play with her laser to distract her awhile. Back outside, Rusty was ready for his playtime. We threw the ball just a little bit, since it was still so hot out. When he was ready to come in, it was time for him to eat too. Ruby had already retired to the air conditioning awhile ago and was napping in her chair.

Panda, Bu & Tatty

This morning I came in and the pups were waking up. We started making our way out of their room. I guess I didn't have the door propped open far enough. It slowly came in behind Bu and booped her in the heiny! Haha. She looked at me like, "What the heck was that?!" We continued on out back. The pups spent a little bit out there to do their thing and explore. I got Bu her pills and gave Panda a teeny bit of cheese too. Shhh! I fed them their breakfast and went to take care of Tatty's things. I found her hiding out under the bed. This afternoon the kiddos went out to do their thing. They came in pretty quick since it was quite toasty out again today. They waited for some pets though, before we headed back inside. Tatty was hanging out under the bed again, but she always comes out for her treats when I leave! Haha. This evening I came in and Panda and Bu were both snoring away! I called their names and it still took them a minute before they woke up. I guess they were having a really good nap. Bu reluctantly got up. It took her a little coaxing to come out with Panda and I. The kids did their thing, then I tucked them in for the night. Tatty was hiding out in her other spot tonight, so I just left her her snacks as usual.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was making his way down to see me again. He got his medicine and his food while I tended to their other things. Stuffy was hanging out at the top of the stairs. Oreo met me in the living room and he curled up next to me for some attention time. He purred away and rubbed his face in my hand for his chin scratches and pets. After he got his fill of that, he got up and started working on his treats. Next, I went upstairs to visit Stuffy for a little while. He purred and enjoyed some chin rubs as well. He got up and headed down to eat when he'd had enough.

Gracie, Emma, Molly and the gang

For my first visit, Emma was snoozing near the hallway and Gracie was laying nearby. As soon as she saw me, Gracie started going crazy as usual! Haha. I let her out first for a potty break. Houston and Henry came over to say hi. I stopped in by the kittens to check on them as well. They were sure having fun in there!! Gracie came in and Emma was ready for her turn. I went to see if Molly wanted to go out, but she just wanted to keep napping. Micah was lounging in the doggie bed when I went in there. He came over and got some pets. Henry had hopped up on the bed and was wanting some attention too. I went back out by Gracie and she got her turn as well. It was a bit too hot today for a walk, so we hung out inside instead. When Emma barked to come back in, Gracie and I sat outside for awhile. This afternoon Gracie met me at the door, happy as can be. She got her turn outside, then Emma went out. Molly was snoozing pretty hard. I woke her up to see if she wanted to go, but she wasn't ready at that time. When she was, I helped her out back. Gracie found a toy and was running around having a blast with it. Charlie had come to visit and sat on the table for his pets, safe from being trampled by Gracie. Haha! I checked on the kittens again. Finn was snoozing in the basket under the counter. One of the others was laying on the round cat toy, lazily batting the ball around the circle. Haha! The third was having a blast playing in a box. Gracie went out for one last quick potty break, then I got the girls each a cookie. They did great!

Panda, Bu & Tatty

This morning I came in and the pups were just waking up. They lined up at their gate and we made our way out back. Bu took some convincing to go out this morning! Haha. She just wanted attention more I guess. Eventually, she wandered out and did her thing. I got her some benadryl, then it was time for breakfast. They both went and stood in their crates while I delivered their food. While they snacked, I went to check on Tatty. She had eaten her snacks overnight, so that was good! I checked under the bed this morning and there she was. This afternoon it was very toasty outside. I let the pups out and they followed along to the back door. They both went out this time and did their business. I coaxed Panda back out so he would do his other business too. Haha. Once he went back out, they both roamed around outside for a little while. This evening the pups were ready for me. I let them out and they made their way out back for their potty break. Not long after, they were heading back in for bedtime. They stood by me for some attention, then Panda worked on the last few kibbles he had in his bowl. Bu seemed to be doing ok, so I didn't give her any more antihistamines. I checked for Tatty before I left, but didn't see her in her usual spots. I left some treats out for her to snack on after I left though.

Panda, Bu & Tatty

This evening I came in and the pups were snoozing away. Bu was up as soon as she heard me, all excited. By the time I got to the kitchen, Panda was up and ready to go too. Bu and Panda followed me out back for their potty break. I waited with them while they did their thing. They came back in and we said hi for a bit. They took turns coming over for some pets. But then, they'd both go to their kennels like we used to do. That made me laugh. Such good puppies! After I tucked them in for the night, I went to go find Tatty. I couldn't find her, so she must be hiding good. I left her some snacks in her spot, so I'm sure she'll come out for those later.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was making his way down the stairs to meet me in the kitchen. I spotted Stuffy sitting in the doorway to the bedroom. Oreo got his medicine and then snacked on his food. After I scooped their box, Oreo was sitting and waiting for me in the living room. I grabbed his toy and filled it with his treats. Stuffy was now taking his turn to eat some yums. He came and sat at the edge of the living room when he was finished. Oreo worked on snacks, then snuggled up for some pets. I got their laser light out again today and had both boys chasing it around for awhile.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was in the kitchen to greet me again. He took his medicine and started on his dinner. I went to scoop their box and noticed Stuffy was sitting at the top of the stairs again. I went and met Oreo at our spot and he went to work on his snacks. I called for Stuffy a few times, but didn't see him come into the living room. But then, Oreo and I both heard him! He was in the kitchen getting his snack. Oreo perked his ears up, looking a little concerned that someone was eating his food! Haha! Oreo snuggled up next to me after he got plenty of his treats out. He enjoyed lots of pets and chin rubs. I went to go see where Stuffy was after awhile. He was now hanging out in the bedroom entry. I sat down by him and gave him a little attention as well.
