Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Kota had spilled her water in her kennel, and so was anxious to get out! Then she was overly excited to get going on our walk. Benny was helping to nibble at my feet to get me moving faster! Haha! It was pretty warm out already. They were getting hot quickly, so we took a slightly shorter route today. Kota had some pretty soft stool on our walk this afternoon. Once we got home they both got a drink and I gave them some ice cubes in their water. Kota went to run around in the backyard for a few minutes, but Benny wanted to stay in and cool off. So he got a nice back scratching! Later this afternoon I let the pups play in the backyard. Kota was busy smelling all the other dogs on me! Benny raced back and forth along the fence with the neighbor dogs. There were kids out playing too, so once in awhile the sounds would startle Kota & Benny. Kota and I played with a tennis ball for awhile. Benny came over and stole it, so we got another one. He was hoarding all the balls by him! We went over and grabbed a bunch to throw. Benny couldn't decide which one he wanted to go after!

Sammy, Molly, Gracie & Couper

The pups were all waiting at the door this time! We went outside for a little bit. Couper and Gracie were first to jump in my lap and say hi. Shortly after getting there they were all finding spots to lay in the shade, so we headed inside where it was cooler. Gracie climbed up behind me and laid on my shoulders. She kept scooting around and giving me kisses! Couper was busy licking my legs and arms. Both their little tongues just kept going and going! Molly curled up next to me and got her belly rubbed for a bit. Sammy was laying on the floor and giving me a pouty face, so I got him to come up on the other side of me. He rolled over for his tummy rub and would kick me with his back leg when I stopped petting him to pet someone else! Haha! Soon it was time for supper. They waited excitedly and started dancing around me when I had the bowls in my hand. We waited for miss Couper to finish again, then they got their evening treat!

Susie & Louis

Today, both Susie and Louis met me at the door with wagging tails and their spotted tongues hanging out! I gave out some scratches to each of them and then went back inside to fill up their food and water bowls. After bringing the bowls out, I went back inside to grab the vitamins and the chewy treats. I made the mistake of holding the treats in my hand while trying to give them the vitamins! Susie took the vitamin and held it in her mouth, then dropped it! Louis kept his eye on the treat, as I tried to feed him his vitamins! So, I gave each their treat and off to their favorite spot they went to enjoy! After she finished her treat, Susie came to have some dinner. Louis just sat on the cool cement, enjoying a belly scratch. As soon as she was finished, Louis jumped up and took his turn, while Susie took her turn at some love and attention. After dinner, they both went out to the yard and played around. Finally tired out, they each found a cool spot in the shade to relax! I was able to snap a few close-ups before I left! So cute!!

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

Tyler and Lacey were right at the door when I came in, with Emma watching from back by the couch. Tyler started doing laps around me, excited to go outside! Lacey waited until I got their lunches ready, then she pranced around out back and did her business. Tyler and Emma ran to the garage when they saw us heading back inside. Lunch time! Luke was laying in almost the exact same spot on the bed today. After lunch Emma ran into the garage when I was going to let Tyler in. I guess she was ready to go back out and play! Lacey came trotting over and hopped right in my lap as I sat down. She gave me a couple kisses as thanks for petting her! She gave me quite the puppy dog eyes when it was time to let the big pups in, and I had to slide her off my lap! I refilled their waters and gave them all a treat before I left.

Sophie & Roxy

It was a nice warm sunny day for the girls today! They decided to com in the cool house for a little bit. I got my tackling and kisses today! They both hopped in my lap and climbed all over me, sneaking in their kisses. Sophie kept jumping up and rolling around on me. What a goof! Roxy waited until Sophie got down, then took her turn! Later I got out what they were waiting for. They zoomed back and forth and pounced away! After they tired out it was time to go back outside. They ran out and sat right away, patiently waiting for their bones! I fed the fish on my way out. I think they know when it's time to eat. They seem to all be waiting at the top when I come out. Baxter & Bailey

This morning I came in to find someone was a very very naughty puppy overnight! Bailey had stuffing all over the house torn out from the ottoman. I cleaned everything up and while doing so, he thought he would try to play with it some more. So he got a scolding since I caught him in the act! The naughty pup got sent outside while Baxter got some attention. I kept him out there and put his food bowl out so he wouldn't get ahold of any more furniture! Later this afternoon I stopped in and let Baxter out. He went outside to lay in the sun. Bailey came in to say hi, then we both headed outside as well. The boys sat with me and got pet. Bailey is getting pretty good at sitting for his attention. Later Bailey moved into the shade and sprawled out on the grass. We heard the mail truck coming, so Baxter hopped up and ran to the fence to give a little bark. The boys came in with me and watched me clean up some of the black hair that was collecting on the floor. I gave them their treat and kept them outside. At least they have such a nice day to be out and enjoy!
