Tipper, Roz, Georgia & Sky

Today Tipper and Roz both got up in their beds when I walked in, ready to go play! Meeko gave me a little "Meeko" hello. Tipper made sure to grab her ball right away to bring outside. She started running around, then gave me her ball to start our game of fetch! Roz went up in her tree house for a bit, watching the neighborhood. Later she came down and sat in front of me for some love while I threw the ball for Tipper. The sun was toasty warm on us, so the girls decided to take a dip in the pool to cool off! Later I headed in to see the kitties while the girls played outside. I can't believe how big they're getting! I had one snuggle up in my lap right away. The other kept busy playing with their feather toy as I swung it around. They both had fun sniffing at all the animal smells on my scrubs too! I made sure to give them some food and fresh water before I went back to play with the girls some more until it was time to go. I'll miss them! They are all so much fun!

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning it was just dounpouring rain outside. I went in to find Tyson waiting for me to say hi. Morgan soon appeared too, wanting a little attention. Toby was in his usual spot, lounging in bed. I got him up and fed him his breakfast. When he finished, I noticed the rain had stopped! So, I got Toby leashed up and off we went. We got our long walk in without the rain starting up again. When we got back home, he had some energy to burn yet. He raced into the bedroom and got his kitty toy. He came out, shaking it all over the place! We played some tug of war and fetch with his favorite toy. This afternoon the rain was still at bay, so we got right on our way for another walk. We got pretty lucky this weekend! On our way out, we saw a tiny little crawdad in the driveway! As we were coming back, we said hi to the neighbors who were working outside with their German shepherds. Toby and I went to sit out back after I got Tyson's sink turned on. Toby got bored and wanted to go back in to play. We played with his kitty toy some more. Before I left, I gave Toby a big hug and kiss and got him a cookie. I will miss them a lot!

Bailey

Miss Bailey was happy to see me this morning! I think she may have had a rough night. I arrived to find the mailbox had been hit by a car. I let Bailey outside to do her business, then got her some breakfast. Next, I went outside to investigate what had happened and talked to some of the neighbors. When I got things taken care of, I headed back inside with Bailey. She and I went out back for just a little bit. She didn't want to stay out real long since it was raining again. Before I left, I gave her a big hug and got her a rawhide. I will miss her!

Crash & Genny

Crash was very excited to see me this morning, jumping all over the place! Genny was happy too, carrying around a different toy this morning. It was just pouring rain when I got there. I let them outside quick to go potty. Genny went just off to the side, only long enough to do her business, then came back. I got her dried off. Surprisingly, Crash took his time out there, not minding the rain. I got him dried off too, then got them their meds and breakfast. They each finished off their bowls. Crash wanted to go back outside after. The rain had let up a little, and he just had a blast! He was racing around and rolling around in the grass. Genny decided to stay in with me, so she sat next to me and we watched Crash play out the window. Genny was happy to get a long back rub. When Crash came back in I got them each a cookie before I left. I will miss them a lot!

Crash & Genny

Crash was standing in the window, barking as I came to the door this evening. Both he and Genny were right there, tails a-wagging, to greet me! Genny was carrying around her little puppy dog toy. I made her leave it inside as we went out to play. Luckily the rain held off, so we had a nice time outside. They each came up to me for a back scratch. Crash and Genny watched the neighbors playing outside with their dog for a bit, then laid in the grass and smelled the air. We headed in to get Crash his medicine and get them dinner. I brought Genny's food over to her and they each finished off their own bowl. Crash came over when he was done and gave me all kinds of kisses! After dinner we went back outside for awhile to enjoy the evening. They each got a treat when it was time to come back inside.

Luke & Maycie

This morning I let Luke and Maycie outside, then went to say good morning to Spiketail. She was not a happy camper this morning! She puffed up and was acting sassy when I turned her light on. I must have startled her. I went back out by the dogs so she could relax. By the time I got outside and threw a ball for Luke, I realized he had already gotten his other ball down. So now that he had two, he was carrying them both around in his mouth! He's so funny! He would bring them both over for me to throw for him. Maycie was busy wandering around the yard. She was sniffing and checking things out by the shed, then in the garden, then over by a hole in the fence. This afternoon I let the pups go potty quick, then brought them back in for lunch. The rain had stopped, so the dogs didn't get too dirty outside while they played. This time Maycie was racing around with Luke as he ran to fetch his ball. She even stole it one time! She was having fun chasing after him for awhile. Then later, she did some more exploring while he played. I got them each a carrot treat and said my goodbyes. I will miss them!

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning Tyson and Morgan were both in the entry way, ready to say hi as I came in. Toby was sprawled out in bed and rolled onto his back for his tummy rub when he saw me. It was pouring rain out this morning, so we didn't get to go for our walk. The water was all the way up to the mailbox and by the next house it was running across the ditch into the road! Needless to say, Toby didn't spend a long time outside to go potty. He came in and ate breakfast, then we got to play time! He dug around in his basket and kept bringing out different toys for us to play fetch and tug of war with. By this afternoon the rain had stopped. It was quite windy out, but just fine to get a nice long walk in. When we got back, Tyson was patiently waiting for me on the kitchen counter to turn his sink on. After I got his water for him, Toby and I went outside for a little bit. We came back in and Morgan was ready for some attention next! This evening it still hadn't started raining yet, so we quickly got on our way to hopefully get our full walk in. The dark clouds were rolling in, but we got to take our usual long walk. Tyson got his water again, while Morgan was busy pawing at the couch. I took Toby outside to play for a bit. But, we came right back in as soon as the June bugs were flocking to the patio! Yuck! Back inside, I pet Morgan for a little bit and got Toby his treat before it was time to go.

Bailey

This morning when I came to see Bailey it was just pouring rain! The backyard was already collecting standing water. Poor miss Bailey didn't want to go out in that! I don't blame her. She hopped off the patio once then went right back on and headed to the door, expecting a treat. I waited with her while she attempted to go out again a couple more times. Finally she braved the pouring rain and quickly did her business. I brought Bailey back inside for her breakfast, and of course a treat! She worked on her rawhide next to me. Then, she hopped up in her chair and rolled around a bit, being silly again. This evening the rain had been done for awhile when I came. It was pretty windy out, but actually quite nice. After Bailey finished her dinner, she and I sat outside on the patio for quite awhile. Later she came in and got her rawhide.

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

Today all three little ones zoomed out the back door. Roxy found a toy right away for us to play fetch with. Dilly hopped up on my lap for awhile and watched Roxy having fun! Roxy got to play fetch by herself for quite awhile. Biscuit was off exploring in the yard, keeping himself busy. I put the girls in their room and Biscuit in the kitchen when it was Bert's time to come out. She did some exploring herself. Then, she came to snuggle me. I think she knew it was my last visit. When I got up to go inside, she stood on her back legs and kept giving me hugs like, "No, please don't go!"  That made me sad, but I was happy to see them one last time and say my goodbyes. I sure will miss them!

Bailey

Tonight there were two rainbows outside when I came to see Bailey! I let her outside for a little bit. It was sprinkling out, so she did her business, then came back by me on the patio. We headed inside and she danced around, ready for dinner. After she polished off her bowl, she ran back to the kitchen and sang her "howrooroo" at me for a treat. I got her one, which she took to her chair to work on. When she finished she was being goofy and rolled around in the chair! We headed outside again later and she ran around in the rain a little. We came in again and I got her a couple more treats before I left.

Luke & Maycie

This afternoon I let Luke and Maycie out to play. Luckily the storms hadn't arrived yet, and it was pretty nice out. Luke wanted his ball right away, so I got it down for him. He didn't want to give it up at first, but eventually he wanted to play some fetch. One time I threw it and he didn't see where it went. It took him forever to find it! Maycie was busy exploring around the yard. Later, we headed in for them to eat their lunch. Once we got back outside, Luke played some more fetch. Maycie had found a big toad to play with! She kept chasing after it and barking at it. This evening it was raining out when I arrived. Luke got his ball and we started playing. Maycie disappeared in the darkness, exploring again. I saw her checking things out by the shed a few times. Luke decided to fake me out towards the end of our game of fetch. He'd drop the ball, "Here, ya go", then quickly grab it as I reached for it, "Haha! Gotcha!" They each got a carrot snack before I left. I checked on Spiketail too, and turned her light off for the night.

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

Today when I arrived, Tyson was right there to greet me. He followed me around until I turned on the sink for him! Toby was sprawled out on the bed, awaiting his belly rub. Since I knew bad weather was coming today, Toby and I went for our walk right away. It was nice weather out for the time being, so we got a nice long walk in. When we got back home, we spent the rest of the time playing in the backyard while we could. Toby and I chased each other around a bit, then he wandered off to explore. This evening, Toby was lounging in bed again. This time both kitties came running out to see me. Morgan was especially craving some attention! It was raining out tonight, so we weren't able to go for a walk again. I let Toby out long enough to do his business, then he came in for dinner. Afterwards, we played with some of his toys. I had him running circles around me! Morgan snuck in some attention time whenever Toby wasn't looking. Before I left I got Toby his long awaited cookie!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

The cleaning gals were here this afternoon, so the boys got to play outside for a long time. They both came running to the fence, excited to see me! I went out back by them for awhile. Buddy was so snuggly today! He kept climbing in my lap and rubbing his face on my arms. Then he'd nudge my hand to pet him. Meanwhile, Jimmy was on the other side of me trying to get my attention as well! He kept taking breaks though, going off to go run laps along the fence with the neighbor chocolate lab. I got the boys each a cookie before I left.

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

This afternoon Roxy and Dilly were running circles around me as we made our way to the door. All three were fascinated with smelling me today! I must have had some other doggie smells on me. Soon they each wandered off to go play. Roxie found me a new toy to throw for her. Dilly was busy checking things out by the shed, and Biscuit was around the side of the house. Bert came outside once everyone was in their areas. She carried a toy around with her until she had to go potty. Afterwards she just wandered around. Then, she came by me and had to smell me too! Once it was time to go in, everyone got their snacks.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Today I let the kiddos outside to play. It was a bit chilly in the wind, so they each went potty, then we went back inside for a bit. Jimmy snuggled up on my lap. Sugar had wandered off to her bed. I let them all outside again for awhile before I left. This evening the boys came running to see me. We headed outside to play for awhile. Jimmy found his squeaky toy for us to play some fetch. Later we headed in to get the boys their meds. After they finished we played outside some more. This time Buddy ran out and grabbed the toy to play with. Jimmy got jealous! But he came by me for some attention instead until we went in.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda met me at the door as usual to say hi. She was very energetic today! She sprung up in the air once we got to the back door. Then outside, she walked in circles while I pet her back and sides. She trotted over to her toy in the yard and brought it back to me for a quick game of tug of war. Then, she actually played fetch with me for a little bit!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This afternoon I let the pups all outside when I arrived. Jimmy ran right into Buddy's bed and stole his treat that he was saving! Finally I got everyone rounded up and outside. Luckily it wasn't raining out, so we got to play out there for awhile. I let them stay loose inside the house again when I left. This evening they all came running to say hi. After they went potty quick, they came back in for their meds. We all went back outside after. The boys were having fun running around with the neighbor dogs. Later, Jimmy came and sat on my feet for some attention. Sugar was lounging on her bed again for most of the time. When it was time to go in, they all bounced around in the kitchen for their treats!

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

This afternoon there was only one bird out in the yard for the pups to chase off. After they did that, it was time to do some exploring. Luckily it wasn't raining out today. Dilly was just sitting in the middle of the yard, staring off into the distance. I wonder what she was thinking about! Roxy went into the toy pile looking for a ball, but was unsuccessful. She dug around and found a barbell squeaky toy instead. It almost seemed too heavy for her as she'd throw it down at my feet! She had fun chasing after that for awhile until Biscuit joined in and guarded it from her. Bert came out of her room and found a ball to bring outside. She soon lost interest in that and wandered about the yard instead. We heard a loud bang while we were out there. That sent her running to me! She sat by me the rest of the time and got her back scratched until we headed inside.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This afternoon I let everyone outside to play since it was so nice out! They did some exploring, then each found a spot to curl up in the sun for awhile. Sugar eventually moved into the shade on her comfy bed. Jimmy was sprawled out on the pool cover like it was his own personal hammock! He cracks me up. Buddy had brought out a treat with him that he worked on for a bit. I let the kiddos stay out inside the house for the afternoon. When I arrived this evening, everyone ran to say hi, then raced to the back door. We went outside for them to go potty, then came back in for meds. Afterwards, we all went outside again since it was still so nice out. Jimmy and Buddy went to say hi to the chocolate lab next door. Sugar mainly lounged around on her bed. When it was time, they came in and all got their bedtime snack.

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie

Today all four pups came racing out of the bedroom, ready to go! They all zoomed around to the back of the yard to their tree. Today they were all racing back and forth from one end of the yard to another. Buckley took a break to go for a dip in the pool. Then, he laid down with a toy and played with that for a bit. Tizzy and JR went for a swim next. Chloe and Tizzy spent most of their time sitting by the corner tree, staring up at it. Tizzy would run up the side once in awhile. Later, I saw them both sitting in the very corner of the yard, looking up at the telephone pole! They were so cute. JR stayed by me for awhile and cleaned off his fur. Then, he would curl up in the shade nearby. Buck went from one shady area to another to lounge around. Back inside, I got them some fresh water as they curled up on their beds. Bootsie was already comfy in his!

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

As soon as the back door opened this afternoon, Roxy, Dilly and Biscuit all went racing to chase off a flock of birds! Once they had all flown away, everyone went to their exploring. Roxy found her ball and got me to play some fetch with her. Biscuit joined in a few times, but he was more interested in checking things out. Out of the corner of her eye, Roxy saw another bird and went chasing it around to the side of the house. Bert came outside next and found a toy to prance around with. She brought it over by me, then sat for a short back scratch. She gave me a kiss on my knee as a thank you before she went off to do some sniffing around too.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Tonight Jimmy and Buddy both came running to greet me at the door! I called for Sugar, but she was comfortable in her cave. So, just the boys and I went outside for awhile. We came back in when it was time for meds. Sugar emerged when she heard the clinking of the plates. After dinner, everyone went outside with me again. Jimmy had fun racing with the neighbor dog! Sugar did some exploring, then relaxed on her bed. Buddy, was of course, checking everywhere for critters.

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

This afternoon Dilly was bouncing up at me like crazy as we headed outside! It was a very comfortable day out already, so all three pups had some fun exploring. They got excited to see someone walking off in the distance. Then later it was pretty quiet as they all just sniffed around and rolled around in the grass. Bert did the same when it was her turn to go outside. She spent the whole time just wandering around.

Miranda

Today miss Miranda peeked through the door at me as I opened it. Then, she raced to wait for me at the back door. Outside she ran and pounced on her favorite toy, then brought it over to me. She sat by me and walked in circles to get all of her back scratched. One of the neighbor dogs was barking, so Miranda stuck be me. We played a little fetch, then she sprawled out in the grass for awhile.

Chelsea

This morning Chelsea was up and at the front door waiting for me. She pranced into the kitchen and showed me where her food container was while I got her breakfast. She quickly polished off her bowl, then took a quick potty break outside. Next, she did her little dance in front of me, getting excited for our walk! We got a nice long walk in this morning. After we got home, we sat in the living room and I gave her lots of hugs and kisses. She kept getting excited and running into the kitchen, thinking it was treat time. Then she would run back and give me her face hugs. I gave Chelsea a couple treats and turned on her music for her. I'm sure going to miss her!!!

Annie

This morning little Annie was curled up on her bed, wagging her tail at me. She was just a little shy, but wagged her tail more and more as I pet her and talked to her. I got her leash on and we went for a little stroll around the neighborhood. When we got back, she curled up next to me and nudged my hand with her nose for me to pet her. Soon she was sprawled out on her back, getting a nice long belly rub! This afternoon as soon as I opened the door, she excitedly ran to me! We got her leashed up and took another long walk around the neighborhood. I wanted to take her over by the water fountains, and saw there was a goose just sitting in the road. I thought as we got closer that it would fly away, but it didn't. It opened up its mouth and started hissing at us! So, I immediately turned Annie around and we quickly headed the opposite direction! Back at the house, Annie hopped up on her bed and rolled over for some more belly rubs. She was almost falling off, so I held her head with my other hand. I think she fell asleep, but her eyes were still open. She suddenly jumped and scared me! This evening I got Annie's benadryl, dinner and other goodies together. I brought them in and she finished them all for me. After dinner she and I went on another walk out back. She got a few more belly rubs inside before I left. She is such a sweetie!

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

This afternoon it was raining outside. The little ones hung out on the porch for a few minutes and debated whether or not they were going to go out. Eventually they wandered off into the yard, one by one. Biscuit would go out and explore a little, then come back to the dry patio. Roxy soon found her ball and wanted to play some fetch in the rain! She had a blast! Water went flying up behind her as she raced to get the ball. Later it was Bert's turn to come outside. She walked around in the grass, not minding the rain. Soon it had slowed to a sprinkle, so she continued to explore. Back inside I got everyone their treats before I left.

Chloe

Today it was raining when I arrived. I was met by a happy little Chloe, with her tail wagging away! I noticed she had found her Frisbee toy and it was laying next to her. So, we played some fetch with that for awhile. She had so much fun! She would race off after it, and even once in awhile she would jump up and catch it in the air. She would come trotting happily back to me. But, she didn't want to give it back, so she played a game of keep-away! I chased her around and around. Then I waited until she was ready to put it down, and threw it some more. She spent some time snuggling up by me too, to get a good back scratch. I got her a couple treats before I left.

Tank & CJ

This morning it was raining outside when I arrived. Both puppies were nice and dry, cozy inside the garage. They quickly raced into the kitchen for their hot dogs! We spent most of our time sitting in the garage while they took turns to eat. Tank sprawled out across my lap. He's such a silly boy! Before I left, they got their yummy bones to work on. This evening they were both in the garage when I pulled up, but they ran outside when they heard me. After they got their hot dogs, we sat in the garage again. Tank was being silly, peeking at me from outside the doggie door. Then he would come in slowly, doing a big stretch half way through! CJ was laying on the floor, watching her bone closely so Tank wouldn't steal it. I gave them hugs good-bye and gave them their chicken treats before I left.

Chelsea

This morning the dark clouds were rolling in when I got there. Miss Chelsea was right at the door, moving her blinds to see me. Luckily, we were able to get a long walk in before it started to rain. As we were walking, we saw a lawn service cutting grass up ahead. I didn't notice it at first, but I figured out that Chelsea was getting nervous! I turned her around and we took a different route instead. After we did that, she kept looking behind us to make sure they weren't following! We got home and she got her pill and treats before I left. This evening Chelsea must have been outside when I got in. She came running down the hall to see me! After her dinner we got to go for another long walk. It was cool, but very comfortable outside. After our walk, Chelsea and I got our snuggle time in. She's such a sweetie pie! She knew when it was treat time too, and did a few tricks for me.
