Chelsea

This morning Chelsea was right at the door waiting for me. She trotted along with me to the kitchen to get her breakfast. After she finished, she stood in front of me and asked the question with her eyes. We went for our long walk this morning. She turned around before I did at our usual spot. She knows our routine so well! On the way back we passed a couple yorkies that were out in their yard. They barked and bounced along their fence with us. Chelsea got excited too and wanted to say hi! This evening I heard the blinds as soon as I got out of my car. I could see her watching me through the front window while I grabbed the mail. As soon as she saw me head for the house, she was at the front door again, making the blinds move! Chelsea quickly finished her dinner so we could get on our way. We went for another long walk since it was still pretty nice out. She looked for her sheltie friends who are usually out in their yard when we go by. When we got back home, Chelsea snuggled up with me in the living room. She kept giving me her face hugs against mine. She was excited for treat time, so she kept huffing at me and throwing my arm up with her nose as she'd walk by. "C'mon, get up!" She's so silly! She of course got her bedtime snack before I left.

Michael, Lucy, Sampson, Hailey, Bunnies, Kisses & Donkeys

This afternoon Michael let out a little bark as I was unlocking the door. Then, he trotted over to me and waited for me to let him out. He danced around excitedly outside as I pet him and talked to him a bit. As I passed the corner of the house, I saw all three heads pop up and they started making their way over to the gate! Kisses was first to come get her snack today. She then hopped up by her bowl to wait while the Tinkerbell and Coco came over to nibble their treats from my hand. Tinkerbell watched closely as I got their food out. Michael was hopping up and down when he saw me come back! He waited patiently by his plate while I got his dinner ready. I still didn't see Hailey today, but I know she must be snoozing somewhere because she's still eating and using her litterbox as usual. Uno made me laugh today. He was sitting in his litterbox when I came in. Then, he hopped up to my lap when I opened the door and was sniffing up at me like crazy! Either he smelled something really good on me or was just wanting his treats! Elliot and Matilda were snuggled quietly together in their cage again today. Matilda was very patient with me as I cleaned her eye out really good. They were excited to get working on their carrot treat as I put it in there for them. I let Michael inside, then went to visit Lucy and Sampson before I left. Lucy was busy rolling around in the grass, so when she got up her back was covered in it!

Bailey & Daphne

This morning Bailey was sure happy to see me! She gave me a long hug before I went to let Daphne out. The girls danced around by the door to go outside. Daphne took to zoom-zooming around right away! Bailey and Daphne both came in for a bit while Bailey ate her breakfast. Bailey wanted to help and kept nosing her way into the pantry! Afterwards, we went back outside for a little bit. Bailey put her front legs on my lap and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Miss Daphne was having fun exploring around the yard. The girls took to chasing around together after awhile. I think Bailey pushed a little too hard this morning. When we got back inside she seemed a little sore on her left front leg. She walked on it just fine, but if she was sitting still she'd favor it a little. The girls each got a yummy snack before it was time to go.
