Hudson, ZZ, Heighty, Sugar, Molly & Moody

Tonight I opened the door and Moody gave me a loud meow right away! He was sitting up on the counter. I got the pups some food and brought it outside. I started filling their dishes before anyone had come to see me. Their water was nearly gone, so I went to work on filling their bowls. Heighty and Hudson came along to keep me company. Heighty was so excited, she was bouncing up on her front end and crying. I filled up an extra bowl for them, since it was still pretty hot and humid outside. Hudson and Heighty followed me to the patio to say hi. Once they did, they went to go eat. All the little ones kept taking turns sharing from the same bowls. Molly and Sugar both had their own. ZZ wandered over after he had had some dinner to say hi. I went in to see Moody for a few minutes. He was meowing and being silly. I saw another big bowl inside, so I filled a smaller one with water for Moody and put the big one out for the dogs as well.

Piglet, Karma & Echo

This morning I spotted Karma laying in the living room when I walked in. I called her name, then she came running over to say hi! We went to look for Piglet, and found her snoozing in mom's studio. The girls came outside with me for a bit. It was raining earlier, but it had paused just long enough for my visit. Piglet went potty, then she followed Karma and I to the start of the path. I took Karma for a nice long walk. When we got to the end, we saw Piglet was still sitting at the start of the path, waiting for our return. So cute! Just as we got back, the rain was starting again, so the girls wanted to go in. As I walked inside, I saw Echo leaving the laundry room. I tried to get the girls to eat their breakfast, but they just went to lay in the living room. I sat in there with them and pet them for a little while. Piglet eventually wandered down the hall, probably to take a nap. This evening I came in and both girls were in the living room. I had them come outside with me and they both peed right away. I tried to get them to do the rest of their business, but they just wanted to go in. I got Karma to come out and play in the yard with me a little. Once we got in, I found out that they had been out several hours ago, so that explains why they didn't need to go! Haha. I got them their dinners and Piglet got her medicine. I bribed them with a cookie to come in the kitchen and check out their bowls. It worked for Piglet! She polished off her bowl withing a couple minutes. Karma was still missing mom, and not very hungry. Karma had grabbed her ball, so we tried to play fetch, except for the fact that she wasn't willing to give it up!

Eddie & Butler

Today I let the boys out after Butler got his medicine. Eddie was busy pawing at me again, while I tried to put it on. The boys ran out to go potty, then came back in for a little bit. They were waiting for me to come out with them. Once I went out, they picked a spot to lounge on the patio for awhile. It was hot and sticky out today, so they spent a lot more time inside the cool house. A neighbor dog was out and barking this afternoon, so that got the boys out again and standing by the fence to check it out. Once that pup went back inside, so did the boys.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy was in the kitchen gabbing away. I grabbed her for her medicine, then set her back down. She went to wait for me in the living room. Sadi was sitting at the water bowl, getting a drink. I got her nose cleaned up and gave her medicine so she could work on eating. She and Stormy both ate awhile. I had Sadi take a break so we could get some brush time in. I put the food up, so she could have a chance later to finish, so Stormy wouldn't eat it all! The girls joined me at our spot. Sadie got brushed, while Stormy played with her shoe string. Stormy did a little coughing while we were sitting there. Before I left, I took Sadi back and got her food down, then she worked on eating some more. This evening Stormy was laying on mom's shirt on the kid's table. She gave me a big meow when she saw me. "Hello!" I stopped to pet her a little bit. Sadi was snoozing in her bed tonight. I woke her up for her meds, cleaned her nose up, then returned her to her bed.
