Rusty & Ruby

This morning Ruby zoomed outside while Rusty and I followed. She quickly did her business and raced back inside. I opened the door to find her by her dishes, patiently waiting for her breakfast. Rusty went and waited for his as well. While the pups worked, I went to see miss Salem. She was a lovey girl again this morning, and was happy for her attention time. She even would come into the other room to talk to me while I got the turtles their breakfast. The pups were waiting in the front room when I had finished. Ruby was busy working on her bone. This afternoon, the pups came outside with me. Instead of a ball, Rusty pranced his way out back carrying a rawhide! Haha. I told him to find his ball so we could play a little fetch. He couldn't find either of his favorites, but I saw the newer red one out in the yard. I threw that for him and he did race over to it. But then, he just looked at me. "This isn't my ball!" It took awhile of him searching, but he eventually gave in and we played with that one for a bit. This evening, the pups went out for their potty breaks before dinner. After they ate, they came outside while I fed the big kids. Ruby was racing around being silly. She found the rawhide outside and bounded around with that, and on inside the house for awhile. Haha. Rusty found his purple ball and we played with that until it was time to head in.

Bella & Zoe

This morning it was cool and wet out. The girls were both at the gate, waiting for me when I came in. They danced around in the kitchen while I opened the door to let them out. We sat outside for a little while and they did their business. Miss Bella was ready to go back in after that. I grabbed some leftover rawhides for them to work on while we hung out inside. Bella snuggled up next to me on her doggy pillow, with one leg over mine, just hanging out. She wanted some pets this morning, and made sure to paw at me if I stopped! Zoe was off on her own, working on her rawhide. This afternoon it was a bit nicer outside. The girls and I went out back. I got Bella a new bone, since there were only two small leftover pieces. But, Zoe decided to quickly snag the new one away! Haha. So, I got another out for Bella. They worked as a team on these. Bella would snack on the outside, then the middle treat filling would fall out and Zoe would work on that. After they finished their treats, the girls relaxed in the yard and watched the neighborhood. This evening was very nice out. Bella was standing in the kitchen, wiggling away when I got there. We headed out back to enjoy some fresh air... and the delicious smell of someone cooking burgers on the grill! Haha. Miss Zoe was busy patrolling the yard tonight. She would see people out walking or hear other dogs and had to let them know what was up! Bella laid in the grass and lounged.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar met me at the door to say hi. He ran ahead of me and picked up a bone that he pranced around with for a bit. I made him leave that inside for later. We went out back next. Oscar did lots of roaming around today. He was at one end of the yard, then would hear people at the other and would race to check it out. We heard a dog barking in the distance somewhere that got Oscar and his neighbor pals all worked up. Wonder what he was saying? Haha. After he gave his sniffer a good workout, Oscar found a spot in the grass to relax for awhile.
