Hudson, Zel, Gabbie, Sparkles & Blackie

This morning I let the kiddos out to play. Hudson saw something outside that he got excited about. We headed back in for their breakfast. Whatever he saw really had him worked up! After he finished his food, he sat in the entry way to look out the window and bark some more. Then, when we went back outside, he went right back to his post at the front of the yard to talk some more! The girls were doing their own thing, running around and smelling things. Blackie was excited once I came back out for his morning attention time. This evening the pups got to go out to play for a few minutes before dinner. Hudson thought he'd be sneaky and eat the food from the opposite bowl first and then work on the other dish, but I stopped him after the first one. Gabby was being bouncy and talkative, more than being interested in dinner. I put Hudson back out to play while the girls finished up. They joined him as soon as they were done. Blackie came running up to see me. Gabbie had fum rolling around in the grass again. Zel and Hudson spent most of their time exploring. When it was time to head in, they all went to their beds like good little pups.

Sadi & Stormy

Today Stormy came wandering out and rubbed up against my legs right away while I was in the kitchen. She stood and meowed at me, so I knelt down and gave her a few scratches. I got their food ready and refreshed their water. Next, I went to look for miss Sadi. I checked her two spots under the bed, but no little sleepy black kitty. I checked all over the living room and on the patio and still didn't see her. So, I doubled back and rechecked everywhere I did already and places I didn't. I still couldn't find her! Finally, I went back on the patio and saw their little kitty tunnel. There she was, curled up and snoozing away! I got her up and gave her her medications. I sat and watched her, making sure she'd eat a bit. She nibbled away until she was done, then made her way to the living room. I pet her for a bit until it was time to go.

Noah, Henry & Harper

This afternoon Noah gave me big barks through the front window as I walked up. The other two were bouncing up and down at me as soon as I got through the door. I fed everyone their lunch right away. Henry was the last to start, so I left him in the kitchen by himself to finish. When they all were done we headed outside. Noah brought his squeaky toy and was prancing around with it, showing it off! He saw the neighbor dogs were out so I watched him close. He just had fun racing them along the fence. Henry sprawled out in the grass. Harper was ready to go back in, but I had him come sit with me for attention. Noah saw that and came running for some pets too! They both were trying to one-up the other and started trying to climb in my lap! Silly boys.
