Chica & Paco

Today the kitties hopped down off the couch and came from the bedroom to see me. Paco started meowing at me right away, then was busy weaving around my legs. Chica hopped up on the counter for some chin scratches. I cleaned their boxes, then got them their little snack. They happily ate that! After they finished, we sat in the living room to play. I love their new kicker toy! Very cute. Paco swatted at that a little, but he lost interest when I got a feather toy out for Chica. They zoomed around after that for awhile. Paco would love on me whenever Chica was taking her turn with the toy. Miss Chica came out on the patio to help me water the outside plants today too! Paco is such a little wiggle worm, that I can never seem to get a good pic of him. Haha.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let Eddie out, then he walked me over to Butler's bed. I let him out and caught him for his medicine. The boys tried messing around with me a little inside, then they eventually wandered out. They lounged around on the patio awhile, until they heard a neighbor's door open. Both boys shot up and ran over to the fence. Butler stayed there and kept trying to look through the fence to see what was going on. Later, they went in to cool off. Today Butler did not want to go to his bed! He rolled over on his back and wouldn't budge. I had to lift him little by little over to his crate, since he kept squirming around when I'd try to pick him up. Once I got him to his door, he got up and went in. What a goober!

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I walked in and Ruby came bouncing and barking her way into the kitchen. When she saw me, she stopped, then proceeded to the back door. Rusty was busy finding his ball, then he joined us as well. Rusty went right out to go roll around in the grass. Ruby did part of her business, then tried to head back in. I got her to come back out with me, then she finished up. She did not want any part of the hot afternoon! She ran back inside and didn't come back out. Rusty was busy exploring, then he went to get his purple ball for some fetch.

Winston

This afternoon Winston did a big stretch while I opened his gate. He trotted over to the door to wait for me to leash him up. We headed outside and went for a nice walk. We tried to keep to as much shaded area as possible, so we could get a little longer walk in. That sun is hot! Winston told me when he was ready to go in. He just headed back home on his own. Haha. When we got in, he slid around, then got his harness off. He ran and grabbed his little nylabone, sprawled out next to me and worked on that, while I pet him. After a few minutes, he wanted to play. He kept sticking the bone in my hand, then pulling it away before I could grab on. Teasing me! He was a quick little boy today, too quick for me! Later, he got his green bone and had better success for a game of tug with that instead.
