Bella, Louie & Chico

The pups heard me pull up this evening. I went in and let everyone outside right away. They each zoomed out of their beds and to the backyard. Bella was immediately attached to me again! I got them their dinner once everyone did their business. I let Chico and Louie inside to go work on their food a little. Louie was scratching again tonight, but not as bad so far. I spent some time outside with Bella. She got plenty of back scratches! When the other two came back out, she made sure that she was the center of attention. Chico came over and tried to hop up in my lap, but Bella thwarted his efforts. Louie stood up against my legs and was talking to me a bit. Eventually, it was time for bed so we headed inside. Bella and Louie went right in, while Chico sat and hid under a chair. I went and got him all tucked in as well. He gave me those sad puppy dog eyes!

Jack & Gracie

This morning I came in and the pups were both wide awake. Gracie was prancing around with her squeaky carrot, ready to play! They took a quick potty break, then came in for breakfast. It took Gracie a little longer this morning to get started on her food, since she was so excited. When she finally finished, we went back outside. She made sure to bring her carrot along, of course! She let me throw that for her a couple times, then she went and laid in the grass awhile. Jack found a good spot on the patio to lay and relax. It was nice and cool this morning, so I thought about letting them stay outside. However, they were forecasting storms today, so we headed back in. This afternoon was still quite nice outside. We spent the whole time out in the backyard. Jack sat by me for a little attention, then laid down for awhile. Gracie had found a spot to sprawl out in the grass. She had brought out a toy that we played a little fetch with. She was bringing quite the collection of her toys outside! This evening Gracie brought out another toy when I got there, and brought it out with us. Jack wandered off to the side of the house, while we played a little fetch. Usually, Jack is ready to go in and eat pretty quick, but not this evening. I went to go check on him and he was just laying in the grass, enjoying the nice evening. I collected all Gracie's toys, then we headed in for dinner. Afterwards, we went back out. Gracie and I played a long game of fetch.

Brady & Lucy

This morning Brady and Lucy walked me to the back door. They went outside while I got them some fresh food and water. They both were having fun zooming around this morning! Anytime a neighbor came outside, they'd race over to the fence together. Lucy chased after any birds that settled in the yard. While I was sitting outside with them, a tiny hummingbird came to eat at the bird feeder. Soon, each of the neighbor dogs would come out and they made sure to make their rounds and say hi. They kept barking at one neighbor working on their lawn, so I brought the pups inside to work on their breakfast for a little bit. We went back outside one last time for the morning. Brady and Lucy stood at the edge of the patio and watched their Boston friend next door. They're so funny!
