Bear & Coco

This morning I went to see if Coco was in her spot right away. She wasn't, so I looked in her other favorite hiding spots. Still no Coco! I looked under the beds again, then decided to do more searching. I found her sleeping on a shelf in the closet! She started meowing at me right away, then Bear was meowing back at her. I gave Bear her morning brushing before taking care of their food. They had eaten a very good amount of the wet and dry food. This afternoon Coco was still in her spot in the closet. I brought some food over to her, but she was laying with her face to the wall, and didn't want to turn around! I pulled her out and set her down. She nibbled on the food a little, then walked away. I brushed Bear for awhile and heard Coco meowing out in the hallway. Tonight the plate of food was lying under the table again. They had cleaned it up pretty well. Coco was still snoozing in her spot in the closet. I got a new can of food and brought it to her. She ate a little bit for me, then tried turning to lay down again. Bear was meowing for me to come back and brush her!

Maggie & Moe

The girls were very sleepy this morning! It took them a minute to come out and see me. It was a very nice cool morning for our walk since it rained last night. I was putting Moe's harness on and Maggie kept trying to nudge her over like, "Me first! Me first!". After they were both hooked up, we went on our way. There were lots of bunnies out this morning! They didn't notice all of them, but when they did, they were very excited. Maggie and Moe both would stare down the little bunny until it ran away. Moe even let out a little growl at one! We went for a very long walk this morning since the girls didn't get too hot. By the time we got back, they were pretty pooped! This afternoon we went out and played in the backyard for a long time. The girls could hear lots of little kids playing outside, so they were running back and forth trying to see them! Maggie and Moe even had a little audience this afternoon. Neighbor kids on two sides were watching them play in the yard. The little girl from yesterday was looking over the fence again and had some friends with her. Maggie and Moe ran to the fence and stood up on their hind legs, heinies a-wagging! The little girls asked me all kinds of questions about them. Maggie and Moe were pretty tired out when we went inside and they both sprawled out on the cool tile. I love how Miss Moe only eats out of the tiny little bowl! So cute!
Watching the kids next door playing through the spaces in the fence.
If you click on the picture, you can kind of see him! It's almost straight down from the latch on the gate.
