Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I let Ruby out, then she and I made our way out back. Rusty came out right after, through the doggie door. He did his usual thing, went out to the grass to roll around. Ruby came out with us and did her business right away. She then went to lounge on the patio for awhile. Rusty sunbathed for a bit, then he went to go sniff around the yard. I kept asking him where his ball was, but he would just look and me and go back to his exploring. Eventually, he did bring it to me for a few throws. The kiddos both wandered in and went to sit in their front room after that.

Winston

This afternoon Winston came out and got his leash on. We made our way outside for a walk. He stopped a few times to do his business today. He had a full tummy I guess! Haha. We wandered around a bit after, and saw some other people and puppy dogs outside. He was particularly interested in seeing what a beagle was up to. It was toasty out today, so we went in after a bit to cool off and play. Once inside, he went and slid himself around on the floor. Then, he raced for his bone and was rrr-rrr-ing at me. What a goof! He kept squirming around and then settling to chew on his toy. We got to play a little fetch with that, then he switched to his green bone.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let Eddie out and he helped me get Butler. The boys sniffed at me and said hi. I grabbed the kong toy and got Butler to play a short game of fetch with me. After that, the boys went to lounge on the patio. They roamed around a little and checked things out by the fence. It was warm outside today, so we went in to cool off. The boys were climbing all over the couch and sneaking kisses from me! They wrestled around, then went back out for awhile. Butler was much better about going in today. We tried a different approach, and it seemed to help.

Oscar

This afternoon I walked in, with no one to greet me. I walked around the corner, and saw Oscar was just chillin' on the couch! He just laid there and watched me. I knelt down, then he came running, heiny wiggling! He happily said hi, then we wandered outside. I love his cute bandana. Oscar made his way to the side of the house to check things out. He heard the neighbor across the street, so he came running back and stood at the fence to watch. Oscar lounged around for awhile. After that, he told me he was ready to go in. He raced for his rope toy and we played with that a bit. He was a good boy and did some tricks for me before I left.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy meowed at me from her chair under the table. She stuck a paw out at me, so I stopped to say hi. Miss Sadi was sitting in the food room. I got her nose cleaned up, then gave her all her morning meds. I got their breakfast ready and Stormy followed along behind me. The girls both ate for a bit. When Sadi was done, I took her to our spot for a little brushing session. Stormy visited too, and I got her to play for a minute. After that, she had no interest. She sat nearby and groomed instead. I tucked Sadi in her bed before I left.

Ginger & Tiger

The kiddos were waiting by the gate for me to let them out this evening. I opened it up and miss Ginger made her way to the door. Tiger was hesitant at first. I lifted Ginger up and took her out. Then, Tiger was ready to go! They both did their business, then lined up at the door again. I told them we didn't have to go back in right away, and that they could spend some time out back. It was so nice out! I sat outside with them, while they wandered around a bit. Eventually, it was time to go in and I got them their snacks.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon Rusty was hopping down from his nap on the couch. I let Ruby out and she bounced her way to the door, with Rusty prancing along behind her, carrying his ball. We got outside and Rusty went to roll around in the grass. I called for Ruby to come out, and she did her business right away. I sat on the edge of the patio and she came to get some heiny scratches from me. Rusty was busy exploring around the yard. I couldn't sit out there too long, since the skeeters thought I was pretty tasty today! After we went in, the pups and I sat in the front room.

Winston

This afternoon Winston got out of his bed and did a big stretch. He walked me to the door and I got him hooked up and ready to go. We went out and got a nice long walk in today. Winston had fun traipsing around in the tall grass area. That was, until he came to meet a grasshopper! That sent him hopping quickly back to the shorter grass. Haha! We wandered around for awhile longer, and Winston was busy checking everything out. He saw a pretty butterfly today too, that he followed around for a minute. When we got back, we had a little game of tug with his rope toy.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I heard Eddie give a big yawn when I walked in. Butler was laying upside down in his crate. Silly boy. I let them out and they excitedly said hi, before running outside. Butler went and plopped himself down in a sunny spot in the grass. Eddie wandered over and tried to get him to play, then gave up and joined him to relax. The neighbor pup came out for a bit, so they both ran over to check that out. The boys were in and out today, getting a drink and cooling off. When it was time to go in, Butler wanted to play his game and wouldn't come inside. I waited him out today, and he went in after awhile.

Dawn, Gallagher, Bobo & Honker

Today I got in before the pups heard me. They came racing inside and were barking hello at me. I got them their food to work on, while I went to go see Bobo and Honker. I checked their bed to see if anyone was sleeping in there, but I didn't see anyone. I lifted up the blankets a couple times. I found Bobo in the bathtub, lounging in his tunnel. He crawled partly out to see me. "Can I help you?" Haha. I still didn't know where Honker was, but then he crawled out from their bed. He must have been snoozing under the pillow! The boys came and sniffed at me, while I cleaned their boxes and refilled their food. I held them for a bit. Bobo was a squirmy little guy today! I got them a couple treats to work on next. Bobo made me laugh. He snagged one up and ran up and into the tub to hide and eat his treat. Haha! I went and visited the pups for a little bit as well, and got them their treats too.

Gracie, Molly, Emma & the kitties

This morning I got in and miss Emma was very excited! She was ready to go out and do her business. I let Gracie outside first real quick. Molly and Emma went out for awhile after that. I got all the ladies their breakfast. Miss Gracie and I decided to take a little walk after she finished eating, while the other two were spending their time out back. Gracie was busy finding all kinds of fun scents along the way, that she would stop and check out. When we got back home, the older gals came in and miss Gracie went out for the remainder of the morning. This afternoon I let Gracie in and she was racing around, full of energy! I don't know what she gets so crazy excited about! Haha. I try not to say much to her at first, so she'll settle down. Silly girlie. She and I sat inside, while Molly and Emma both got a turn out back. Gracie found her turtle for me and we played with that. She would have a blonde moment every time I'd throw it, thinking I still had it. She caught on after a few more, and knew where to go look for her toy! Then, she had fun playing keep away. She would come over and shake her squeaky by me, then would run back to the living room. She cracks me up. My buddy Charlie came and sat on the table next to me for some pets. This evening I let Gracie in again and she was bouncing all over the place, happy as could be! I got Emma to go outside, but Molly didn't feel like getting up for me. I got the girls their dinner, and they all ate well. Charlie was attached to me tonight, and decided he'd help me clean their boxes too. Smudge was hanging out on a chair, safe from being trampled by Gracie. Haha. Henry was wandering around and came by for some pets as well. Gracie went out for one more potty break before bedtime. When she came back in, she was ready to play with her turtle. Emma came and sat by me for some love, while Gracie was busy searching for him. It was so sweet, she even took it to bed with her. Cute. :)

Major & Boomer

This morning Major was wandering around out in the yard. He heard me coming and barked hello. Boomer was already inside when I got in, with Major following not far behind. The boys said hi, then I went to get their breakfast. They stood and waited behind me, as usual. Major was pawing away at the floor. "I'm hungry, feed me please!" Haha. Boomer could hardly wait. He kept running to his spot, then would run back again until I finally followed along with his breakfast. The bowls got licked clean within a few minutes. Major got his medicine, then the boys waited for me to clean their dishes. We headed outside and they got some pets.

Gracie, Molly, Emma & the kitties

This afternoon I came in and Emma met me at the door. She followed me around, while I went to go let Gracie in. I called for her and she came racing from the other end of the yard. Emma went out and I tried to get Molly out too, but she wasn't feeling like it at the moment. I saw Henry was chillin out on his large doggie bed throne. Haha! Gracie was just wound up with energy. She was bouncing all over the place! Gracie finally settled down a little after a few minutes, then she sat by me for some attention, while Emma was taking her turn outside. Charlie came and visited me for awhile as well. When it was time, miss Gracie went back out for the afternoon. This evening, Gracie was at the fence, seeing who was home. She was already at the back door when I got in. She came running in so fast that her paws were sliding across the floor, and not actually moving her anywhere! Haha. Molly and Emma were both ready to go outside for awhile. I got all the ladies their dinners. Gracie and I played a little fetch with her squeaky turtle for awhile. I heard a funny noise behind me, and saw Henry was chattering at the window! He saw a bug outside that he thought he could catch. I let miss Gracie out for one more potty break, then it was time for bed.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon Ruby came racing outside, barking away. She saw it was me, then calmed down. Rusty came out as well, and they both followed me inside. I checked to make sure there weren't any messes to clean up, and that they had enough water. Since all was good, the pups and I wandered back out. Rusty went to roll around in the grass, like usual. Ruby was hanging out on the patio, so I called her to come out by us. She came and sat by me for some heiny scratches, then did her business and went back in. Rusty and I got a little game of fetch in. This evening, the kiddos both came out to see who was here. We went in and I got them their dinners. After they ate, we went out and I fed the big kids. Miss Chloe was following me around, thinking she could try and steal a bite from the bucket! Haha. I caught on though, so she had to go pick a bowl instead. Rusty and I played a game of fetch outside awhile, then we went in for the night. I checked in on Salem and she was just hanging out on the bed.

Dawn, Gallagher, Bobo & Honker

Today I walked in and both Dawn and Gallagher were right there, saying hi! They followed me to the kitchen and talked to me for a minute, then they got bored and ran outside. They must be getting used to seeing me. Haha! I got their canned food ready and they got to work when they came back in. While they ate, I went to check on the ferrets. I spotted Honker snoozing away in their bed. I heard a rustling sound and saw Bobo was in their cage. I had to look twice, because it looked like he was sitting in a plastic bag. He was! He must have stolen one and took it in their cage and made a little nest out of it! Haha. What a goof. I took it out and started to scoop their boxes. Silly little Bobo kept trying to crawl in it again. The boys were both excited to get a couple snacks. I held Bobo for awhile and Honker slowly chased the red ball around when I rolled it for him. Later, I went back out by the pups. I sat on the couch and they both came by me. Gallagher was busy barking, while Dawn was sitting quietly and getting her back scratches in. Before I left, I got them each a cookie.

Major & Boomer

This morning Major must have heard me coming. He started barking and I saw he was going on in to meet me. Boomer was right there as well, wagging his tail happily. The boys were dancing around behind me while I got their breakfast ready. Major was even pawing at my leg! Haha. Boomer ran to his spot and bounced up and down until I delivered his food. The boys both ate and polished their bowls off. I cleaned up and put Major's medicine away, then joined them outside. The boys wandered around a little and did their business. They both came to stand by me for a few heiny scratches, before they wandered off again.

Winston

This afternoon Winston was looking all cute, snuggled up in his bed. He came out and followed me to the door. I got him hooked up and we went on our way. It was so nice out today! There was a nice breeze going, so it wasn't quite as hot. After he did his business, we spent almost the entire time today, wandering around outside. We went in and got a few minutes of play time in with his rope toy.

Major & Boomer

This morning I saw Major making his way inside. The boys were both right at the door to greet me. Boomer followed along while I got out the medicine and got their breakfast ready. He was bouncing up and down at his spot, ready to eat! Major got his injection while he ate his food. Afterwards, Boomer wandered outside awhile. Major stood by me and was busy sniffing at other doggie smells on me. The boys were both happy to get some pets, until they went back outside.

Winston

This afternoon Winston and I headed outside right away. He took me all over the place when we got out there. He was walking me today! He did his business, then we tried to go explore a bit. Unfortunately, we didn't get much walking in. Winston didn't care though. He was busy working out his sniffer this afternoon! He kept stopping to smell spots in the grass, bushes or trees. "Hmmm... This smells interesting!" After a little while, he took me back towards his house. We got in, then he started sliding around on the floor. I took his harness off, then he waited for me to ask where his toy was. That made him start talking and he raced off to go get one. Today, he brought out his blue treat ball. He, of course, wanted to play tug with that! We tried a little, but we got some fetch in as well.

Winston

This afternoon my buddy was ready to go. He came out and ran for the front door to wait for me. I got him leashed up and we went on our way. It was another very nice afternoon! He did his business after sniffing around a bit. When he was done, we started to wander around. Winston took a break and sat down in a shady spot for a few minutes. Then, he was ready to go explore some more. When we got back home, he was ready for some play time! He ran a few laps, then came running with his white bone. I tried to get him to get his rope, but he just wanted to play tug with that one. He made me laugh. If I stopped hanging on, he would walk up and place an end in my hand. "Here you go. Now let's play!"

Winston

I missed my little buddy! I got in and saw him, and he started to wiggle his little heiny. He came over and gave me a sniff to see who was here. Then, he wandered to the front door to wait for me to hook him up. We made our way outside so he could do his business. It was so nice out today! Winston went potty, then we wandered around for awhile. He had fun checking out his favorite bush today too. Haha. Eventually, we went in to play for a few minutes. I didn't see any toys in the living room, so I asked him where they were. He went racing around the house, but kept coming back to me without anything. I helped him and we found his white bone toy. He and I had fun playing tug with that, until it was time to go.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo came down the stairs and followed me to the living room, where Stuffy was already sitting. Oreo wandered into the kitchen to wait for his dinner. The boys both came to snuggle up by me as soon as I sat down at our spot. Oreo was purring away and making sure he got all his chin areas scratched. Stuffs laid on his side and enjoyed some belly rubs too. After awhile, Oreo got a little spunky and started to wrestle around with his feathery kitty toy. For the most part, the boys just lounged around. They enjoyed their attention and will be happy to have their humans home soon! I know they missed you bunches!

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Stuffy was sitting in the entryway, soaking up some sunlight that was peeking through the window. Oreo was making his way downstairs. He sat in the dining room and gave me a meow. "Follow me!" We met in the kitchen and he got to work on his snack. Stuffy had moved to the living room to wait for me. Oreo came and followed me to our spot for some pets. He laid down and purred away. Then, he got in a lovey mood and was rubbing his face on one of his toys. I got him to play and swat around at that for a bit. Stuffs just sat and watched. He wasn't too interested in coming over by us this time. I gave him a couple pets when Oreo went back to eat.

Eddie & Butler

This evening I let the boys out and they said hi, before running outside to do their thing. I got their dinners ready for them. Eddie came in and went right in his bed, ready to eat. He went right to work, and Butler wandered in shortly after. Both boys polished off their bowls for me. They went outside and played for the remainder of the time. It took Butler a few minutes to come in, then he wanted to play his chase game, but luckily it was short lived. Later this evening, all was quiet when I got in. I let the boys out for a bedtime potty break. Eddie hung around inside for a bit and wanted some pets. He heard Butler talking to the neighbor dog, so he had to race outside and check that out. Both boys were back in after a bit, being lazy and lounging around. They were in and out this evening, going and checking thing out in the dark. When it was time, I got the boys tucked back in their beds.

Eddie & Butler

Today the boys were both dancing around excitedly when I let them out. Butler got his medicine before they wandered out. Once outside, Eddie was very curious about something by the fence. He kept jumping up, as if to try and peek over the top! When a neighbor dog in a different yard came out, both boys ran to that side to check it out. Eddie wandered inside after awhile, so I went to see what he was up to. He was just lounging inside. I sat by him and pet him for a bit. Today Butler was being a little stinker about coming in. It took awhile and I tried all kinds of things. It didn't help that his friend was out, so he was busy over by the fence. Finally, he did come inside, but he wanted to play chase first.
