Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today Rusty met me in the kitchen, as usual. I let Ruby out and she raced down the hall, then zoomed to the back door. She was hopping up and down for me to open it! The pups meandered outside for a bit, did their business, then headed inside. I sat down on the couch and both pups were excited to say hi. Lance hopped up in my lap and started to purr. Then, he gave me a love bite on my arm! Little goober. Luckily, I had a sweatshirt on, so I didn't feel anything. I guess he was ready for playtime. I had him hopping around after his toy for awhile. I think the turtles were watching. Haha!

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today I walked in and didn't see anyone in the front room. As I made my way in, I spotted Jerrie all snuggled up on the chair in the living room. Kimmie appeared behind me from somewhere and did a big stretch. She followed me to the kitchen, while I sorted the mail. After I took care of their things, Jerrie stood up from his chair, ready for his brushing! Kimmie was already waiting in the front room. The kitties both sat by me for a few minutes to be pet or brushed. Then, Jerrie wandered off. Kimmie hopped up to the top of her tower for a bit. She allowed me to brush her, then we played. I went to go see what Jerrie was up to, and he was just sitting in the living room. I sat in the chair and he came to sit in my lap for awhile.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy hopped up quickly from her spot on the bed, and began meowing at me. I guess someone was a hungry girl! Sadi was already in there, getting a drink. The girls worked on breakfast for awhile. Sadi got her morning meds when she was finished. She was pretty clear today and didn't sound very congested. I took her to the living room for awhile. Stormy went back to bed I think, because she didn't come out to visit this time. Sadi sat and purred away, enjoying her pamper time. The girls snacked a little more on their breakfast before I left. This evening, both girls were sleeping soundly when I got there. Stormy was on the back of the couch again tonight, and woke up when I walked in. She got a couple chin scratches before I went to see Sadi. Sadi was all curled up in her bed. I pet her to wake her up and she gave a little purr-meow. She got her evening medicine and eye ointment. The girls did well this week.
