Oscar

This afternoon Oscar was at the door to see me again. We said hi and he danced around as he got his heiny scratches. Happy boy! We went outside and he found a spot to lounge around for awhile. It was another dreary, wet day outside. Oscar did a little wandering around, but mostly he relaxed on the patio. We came in a little early today to play a bit. He picked out his octopus for us to play tug of war and a short game of fetch with. When it was time, he got his favorite snack.

Daisy & Sophie

Today the office was open again when I came in, so I shut the door again. I heard Sophie jingling down the hall to come see me. She had gotten down some sunglasses while I was gone, but that was about it today! Sophie helped me check on Daisy again. She was in the bathroom checking out the sink. She climbed into the kitchen sink while I refilled their water dishes. Sophie got a little time to have a drink. After I scooped boxes, we sat on the couch for a little visit. Sophie climbed up to my lap for some pets. She spotted the fish tank and stood on my lap, staring at it. She made me laugh when she started chirping at the fish! Haha. She hopped down and went over to the tank, then made a few attempts to jump up and "catch" the fish.

Annie, Izzy & Cali

Nothing much new or exciting for today. It was another rainy, dreary day outside. The girls were very excited for their breakfast this morning. I could barely get to the door to open it! They quickly licked their bowls clean. I let them out for a little while and went to see Cali. She came running and meowing to visit me. She and the birds got some fresh food and water this morning. After I visited with her, I let the girls back inside. They were all ready to come in out of the wet! This afternoon Annie and Izzy lined up for their dinner. After they ate, they got to go do their thing out back. The rain had let up for a bit, so they got a little more time out there. Cali was happy to get some attention time in before it was her turn to eat. This evening, the rain had begun again. Annie and Izzy went out for a short while. I went to see Cali in the mean time. She hopped up in my lap on the couch and got some pets and chin scratches. When she had her fill, she went to go eat. The girls were waiting for me to let them in. They had some pent up energy and were starting to mess around with each other. It should be a nice day tomorrow, so hopefully we'll have more time to play outside!

Conroy, Penny, Ricky, Ace, Jacob & the kitties

This morning I got breakfast ready for all the kiddos. Ricky had eaten all his food from the night before. Conroy didn't quite finish this morning, but he ate the majority. After the pups finished, I let them all out. It was another drizzly day today. I sat outside with them and they all were bouncing up and down at my legs, each trying to get attention. I need more hands! They wandered around a bit, but mostly hung out on the dry patio. Back inside, I got the boys all ready for the day. I took Jacob to his room and saw Mator lounging on the bed. This afternoon I came in and Conroy was lounging on the big bed and Ace was snoozing soundly in his favorite bed. I gently pet him to wake him up, then it was time for everyone to go out. I went to get Jacob and noticed a lump on the bed. Mator was taking a nap under the covers. The rain had stopped for the afternoon, so we spent the whole time out back. They wandered off and did much more exploring in the yard. When we came in, as usual, Penny made sure to point out where her snacks were. "In case you were wondering, my snacks are right here." Haha! So of course, they all had to get one! Ace made me laugh as he was prancing around, holding his snack in his mouth. This evening, the kiddos went out for their last potty break. The rain had started again, so they all huddled on the patio for the most part. We went back inside for awhile and visited in the kitchen. I sat on the floor with them, then Penny tackled me immediately! Haha. Ricky and Ace both curled up in their beds after they all settled a bit. Conroy grabbed his yellow chick toy and we had fun playing with that for awhile. He kept squeaking it on my arm. Haha! Penny kept standing up by the treat station. Silly girl. When it was time, I got the pups all tucked in their beds for the night.

Molly, Emma & the kitties

This morning I walked in and saw Henry was lounging in a laundry basket of clothes! Haha. I went to let the girls out right away. It was another drizzly day out, so they will get to stay inside again. Henry and Charlie came to visit me while the girls did their business. They wanted to come in pretty quick to get their breakfast. Emma ate right away, so I went to give Molly some company. Emma and the kitties came in as well, so we had a little party going on. Haha! Molly eventually ate all her breakfast for me. This afternoon Henry was sitting by the laundry room window, looking outside. The girls were both sleeping soundly. Emma was by the wall across from the door, and Molly was in her bed. They woke up and went out for awhile. The rain had let up, so they spent a little extra time out there. I had closed the bedroom door to let them out without the cats trying to sneak outside too. I laughed when I opened it back up and saw the three boys sitting there waiting! Guess they were ready for their pets. This evening the girls went out for a little while. It was starting to rain again when I got there. Charlie and Henry kept me company until the girls came back inside. Emma ate, then we went to give Molly some company again. I think Emma just comes along to make sure I don't forget her cookie! She knows as soon as Molly has her bowl empty, and proceeds to remind me. Haha! Micah was loving on Emma a little while we waited. So cute!
