Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This afternoon it was so nice out! Sadie and Cole met me in the laundry room. I let them into the kitchen, then we headed outside. All three wandered around the yard to do some exploring. Zoie was at the far back of the yard, barking at things. She would occasionally run around, being silly. Sadie came to lounge on the patio and sniff at the air. She had a nice spot in the shade. Cole actually was busy out in the yard for quite awhile today too! When he finished his business, he came over for a little attention. When it was time, we all headed inside and I made sure they had plenty of water.

Winston

It was a beautiful day today! I got Winston's leash on, then we went right for our walk. We wandered around and got a nice long one in today. Winston put his sniffer to work and checked out everything he could. He had full range of his leash to wander wherever he wanted. It was a perfect day for our walk. When we headed back inside, we were going to play. But, he decided he wanted to chew on his bone awhile instead! Later, I got his ball out of the basket and we had fun with that. He was carrying it and barked at me once. Since it echoed through the ball, it sounded like he said, "Boo!". Haha! When it was time, I opened a new kind of treats and gave him one in his room.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let Eddie out, then sprayed Butler's medicine on. The boys and I headed outside after I got them some fresh water. It was gorgeous outside today! The boys lounged around on their patio most of the time. First, they had to hop on the table to give me kisses! Butler eventually moved to the shade and sprawled across the chair on the patio. Eddie went in to lay on the tile floor. The boys got their snack when it was time to go back to their beds.

Oscar

Oscar met me at the door to say hi. As we were walking along, I noticed someone was naughty before I got there! He had gotten hold of a box and had chewed on it and the tissue paper inside. I let him outside while I picked up. Then, I went out with him to play. It was such a beautiful afternoon! I grabbed his frisbee and tossed it over to him, but he appeared uninterested at first. As soon as I started to chase him, then he quickly picked it up and ran! I got him to drop it a few times for me and we actually got a short game of fetch in today! When he was done, he kept it and went to lay in the grass.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came running down the hall, meowing loudly when she heard me! I went out to water the plants, and she was waiting for me to return. She wandered back and forth between the dining room and kitchen, while I got their breakfast together. Sadi was sitting in the middle of the food room. Stormy went to work on eating, while Sadi got her meds. Sadi's nose was a bit crusty this morning, so she was whistling! Haha poor girlie. I got her all cleaned up and she sounded much better. She sat and ate for quite awhile afterwards. When she was done, we went to our spot for a little pamper time. Stormy was laying in the living room in a sunny spot. She gave me a loud meow when I walked into the room. She wanted her lovey time too! This evening I saw Stormy was out on the patio, snoozing on her chair. It sure was a nice night for it! Sadi was sleeping on the floor of the food room. She got her meds and is cleaned up her nose, then snuggled her into her comfy bed.

Riley & Hunter

The pups were waiting by the door for me this morning. Hunter told me he was ready to play as soon as I walked in! Haha. I let them out while I switched up everything inside, then I went out with them. Hunter and I played our game of fetch. Riley came over for a little attention, while he was running around. I told Hunter we were "all done" and he tried to tell me otherwise at first. But soon, he settled down and went to do his business. Riley came and lounged by me on the patio, while Hunter did a little exploring. It was nice and cool out this morning, so we spent longer outside before we went in for breakfast. The pups had finished their dinner overnight after I had left. I got them their breakfast, and Hunter was actually hungry enough to eat right away. Riley... not so much. She just laid nearby. This evening the pups were right at the door for me. Hunter sure gets excited for his playtime! We went out and got right to his game. Riley was busy checking something out by the hose. When Hunter was done playing (or more like when he had to be, since he'd play all day haha) we went in for dinner. It took a little coaxing, but soon they both went to work. They both finished off their food. We went back outside for awhile after, so they could have another potty break and do some more exploring.
