Susie & Frank Fritz

Today I walked out back, then I heard the pups zooming around the corner to see me! Frank sure has grown! I bet he won't get a whole lot taller than he is. He was very excited to see me today and was bouncing all over the place. I got them each their dinner and put their bowls in their houses. Frank went right in and chowed down. Susie was pretty warm and didnt seem interested in eating at the time. She wandered off to lay in a shady spot in the grass. I got them some fresh cool water in their bowls. Frank drank a bunch right away. Next, I got them a nice cool treat from the freezer. They enjoyed that! Frank kept me entertained while he played with his plastic bottle that I brought out for him. I topped off their water before I left.

Taz & Clyde

The boys were right at the door, waiting to see who was here. I like Taz's cute bandana! The boys followed me to the laundry room while I picked out their dental chews. We headed outside for them to enjoy their snacks. Clyde laid by me to eat his snack, while Taz took his to a safe spot. Taz came back and stood by me for a bit to get his heiny scratched. The boys relaxed awhile until we headed back in the cool house. This evening I let the boys out for their potty break, then they came in for dinner. Clyde polished off his bowl and Taz nibbled a bit. Taz kept stopping to look at me and his ears would perk up. Once Clyde was done, we headed to the garage to get their leashes on. Clyde was crying and bouncing with excitement as usual! We took a nice long stroll around the neighborhood. We took a slightly different route, since I had seen a stray dog roaming around as I pulled up. We got home and they took one more potty break before bed. Taz went to finish his dinner while I refilled their water bowls.

Bella, Louie & Chico

Today the pups were very excited when I got there! I let them each out to go outside. Bella turned around to say hi quick before she took off to do her thing. I filled all their water dishes with some fresh cool water, since it was pretty warm out. I went to sit down and Chico bouced right up into my lap. Bella, of course, wanted all my attention to herself! Chico eventually jumped down and sprawled out in the grass to soak up some sun. Bella stayed with me to get pet most of the time. Louie hung out in the cool house, but would wander out now and again to explore. Bella was ready to go in and cool off when it was time to go. I got them all their peanut butter snacks to work on. Louie was especially excited to get his!

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie, Blackie & Sparkles

This morning Blackie wandered outside when I got there, after stopping to say hi. I let Hudson and the girls outside for a bit. They took their turns to get their paws wiped off when it was time to go in for breakfast. They all settled at their places to eat. Gabbie was a very bouncy little girl this morning! She was hopping across my legs, then would get on the couch and stand her front legs on my head. If I leaned away from the couch a little, she could still reach me! She and Hudson chased around the living room a bit, then were bouncing excitedly to go back outside. I took them all out again and they did their thing. Zel was by the fence the whole time, trying to look for critters. This evening Blackie was hanging out in his bed while I let the little ones outside. They played and explored for quite awhile. Gabbie and Hudson came inside for dinner, but I had to go out and get miss Zel. She was too occupied by the fence! They all ate and then we hung out in the house for awhile. Zel and Gabbie were having fun chasing each other and messing around. That ended with lots of kisses. We went out for one more potty break until they were ready to come in.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy gave me a meow when I walked in. She started rubbing against the cupboards until I got into the kitchen. She got her meds, then I got their food ready. She curled up on the net under the table while she waited. Stormy came to eat, as I got them fresh food and water. Sadi was sleeping under the foot of the bed again. She wasn't nearly as crusted up today, which was good. I got a lot of gook out! She sounds very good today and her eye is still looking better than it was. She wandered to the living room right away. Both girls sat with me and enjoyed their pets. Stormy was being a little attention hog today! She kept walking between Sadi and I, trying to steal away the hand I was brushing her with. She sat there and licked at me, then wandered back to the other side. Her little motor was so loud! Sadi just sat and tilted her head back, enjoying her brushing. Such sweet girls. We had a good time!

Mindy Lou & Chupie

This morning I got in and started getting things ready for our walk. I hadn't seen Mindy in the living room, so I walked into the bedroom to find her. I talked quietly to try and wake her without startling her. Once I saw she was waking up, I walked over to her. She was acting a little shy, so I sat down by her and gently pet her for a bit. Eventually, she got up and followed me to the door. We started on our way. As I was headed to the driveway, I noticed she had stopped. I kept going to see if she would follow, but she didn't. I went back towards her, then she gave me a tail wag and started trotting over to me. "Ok, I'm ready now!" It was a little cooler out this morning for our walk, but not much! It's going to be pretty toasty out this afternoon. When we got back from our walk, Mindy went back to her room. This evening Mindy was headed to the living room from the kitchen when I got there. I got her things, then we headed outside. This time she trotted along ahead of me with no worries. We didn't quite do all of her course, but just about. We stopped in the shady area and she sniffed around awhile. It was just so hot out today between the over 100 temps and humidity. I didn't want to push it. As we walked inside, I saw Chupie sitting behind the couch in the corner, curiously watching me. I got the girls a big bowl of fresh cool water. Mindy wandered into the kitchen with me, so I pet her for a bit. I noticed she had eaten some food for me after I left this morning. That made me happy!

Mindy Lou & Chupie

Today miss Mindy was laying on her bed in the living room when I walked in. She came right over to say hi. I sat and pet her for a minute, then went to go get her leash. She wandered outside with me and we started down the driveway. She was walking pretty slow. I noticed she kept looking back to see if mom was coming! Finally we got to the end and I hooked her leash on. She was fine after that and stayed pretty well ahead of me. She wandered around and checked things out a little when she was off-leash. She stopped where she needed to when it was time to head back. When we got inside, I noticed Chupie jump down from the window sill out of the corner of my eye. So, I sat down on the couch and stayed quiet for a minute. She peeked around the side of the couch, then came close enough to check me out! She gave me a sniff and watched me for a minute, then went back into hiding. Pretty good for my first visit! Mindy went to lay down in the bedroom while I cleaned the litter box and got everyone their dinner.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie, Blackie & Sparkles

This morning Blackie stretched, then wandered off to explore a bit. I went in to let the little ones outside. All three zoomed to the back corner of the yard. Whatever Zel was looking for last night must still be out there. They all went potty and played a bit before coming inside for breakfast. The grass was a touch wet, so they all had to get their little tootsies dried off. Zel decided she was going to eat out of Gabbie's dish this morning, since Gabbie was following me around. I poured Zel's food into Gabbie's dish when Gabbie was finally ready to eat her share. Silly pups! Later, we headed back outside for awhile. Hudson had a blast when the neighbor dogs came out. He and the husky were having races back and forth along their fences. Blackie came back to visit me. He seemed concerned that Hudson was having too much fun and gave out a couple barks. We heard some sirens while they were out playing. I had a good laugh when Hudson, Gabbie and Blackie all started howling along! This evening Blackie was sleeping in his little house when I got there. Hudson, Zel and Gabbie were all excited to get outside. I let them run around a little while, until it looked like they were ready to come in. Everyone ate at their appropriate stations tonight. Haha! We hung around inside a bit afterwards, since it was pretty hot out. Hudson snuggled up to me, while Zel played with her toys. Gabbie kept hopping up on the couch to stand on my shoulders to try and lick at my ears! She made me laugh. Later, we went out to play some more. I had to go fetch miss Zel again tonight when it was time to head inside, as she was busy investigating her corner.

Sadi & Stormy

Today Stormy was attached to my legs as soon as I walked in. She got her medicine, then I mixed up some new food for them. Today, Sadi was in one of her normal spots, so I didn't have to search for her. She was just waking up at the foot of the bed as I peeked under. She had a lot of nasal discharge today and seemed a little more irritated with me fussing over her. Once I finally got all the gook out, she seemed to be feeling better. Her eye seems to be doing pretty good now. I set her down by the food, but she headed to the living room instead. Stormy was already waiting for us. Both girls were happy to get their itchy chins scratched. They purred away. Stormy and I played a little with her mouse toy.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie, Blackie & Sparkles

The kiddos were all barking when I arrived. I checked out Sparkles's new food place so I knew where it was. Blackie wandered off after I opened the door. I went in and let the little ones out for a bit. Hudson was bouncing up and down as usual. They roamed about the yard, then came in to eat. Gabbie was busy following me around and took a minute before she settled to eat her food. Hudson sat with me while the girls finished. Zel joined us and laid down to gnaw on her bone. I let them all out for their last potty break before bed. Zel was way off at the back of the yard, tracking something down. Luckily, it was on the other side of the fence. She was so busy, I couldnt get her attention when it was time to go in. I walked out by her, then she came racing to the gate.

Sadi & Stormy

Today Stormy was on top of things and was ready to say hi right away. She got her meds, then did some wandering around. She followed me to go nibble on her food. I changed out the litter since it was getting pretty close to needing it. I put a new liner in and poured in some litter. As I was putting the cap back on the litter, Stormy helped herself to the clean box. She followed me around as I looked for Sadi. I couldn't find her anywhere! I looked in her favorite spots a couple times, then started looking elsewhere. Finally, I found her in the middle of the opposite side under the bed! While I looked in her corners, I looked beyond to the other side, but she was hidden by the containers. She got all cleaned up and had her meds. The girls both sat with me for some attention today. Stormy gently pawed at my leg to continue petting her. She eventually wandered off and Sadi stayed for more brushing.

Sadi & Stormy

Today I started getting food ready for the girls when I arrived. Stormy wandered in to see me shortly after I got there. She was so lovey today! She followed me to their room, but instead of eating, she rubbed up against my legs while I took care of things. I went out to the patio to grab Sadi, but she wasn't out there today. The one time I don't check under the bed first... haha! Stormy came out with me and plopped down in front of me to roll around. Sure enough, Sadi was all curled up under the foot of the bed. I brought her in the bathroom to do her meds. Meanwhile, Stormy was still attached to my legs! Both girls wandered out to the living room today and waited for me. Stormy was purring sooo loud! I was scratching both their little itchy chins. If I stopped petting Stormy to brush Sadi, she would walk under my arm and sort of try to nudge Sadi out of the way. I don't know what was up with her. I guess she forgot that I'm there to love on them and had to make up for all the days she didn't come to get pet! Silly girl. They noth enjoyed every minute of their attention today.

Sadi & Stormy

Today I didn't notice any kitties when I walked in. Stormy came wandering in from the patio when she heard me open a couple new cans of food. She got her meds quick. Her lip still seems to be slowly improving. She followed along behind me to their room and sat in the doorway until I finished switching out the food. Sadi was lounging on the patio again today. She sure likes it out there! Sadi got her meds, then took a couple nibbles of her food, before wandering to the living room. Stormy was laying by the window, but she hopped right up as soon as I sat down! She came trotting over for some attention too. I scratched both their itchy little chins. Stormy played with me a little, then wandered off. I swear, Sadi would sit there all day for me to pet her!

Katy & Sage

Today the girls were relaxing when I walked up. They both hopped right to their feet when they saw me. Katy came out to run around a bit so I could clean. I got her side all ready. She went and sat in there as I got her eye stuff out. I called her over to me and she rolled around a minute before I cleaned up her eye. She went back in her house so Sage could come out next. Sage was racing around, checking each bush or plants for any possible birds hiding in them. Soon it was her turn to eat. The misters were still working today, so they had some relief from the hot afternoon.

Sadi & Stormy

Today Stormy wandered all the way to the laundry room to greet me. She got her meds, then continued to hang around the kitchen while I got their food ready. I saw Sadi laying on the patio through the back door. Stormy went to nibble a bit, then found a sunny spot to lay in the bedroom. When I went to get Sadi, she had gotten up and was sitting in a different spot. She got her meds, then had a few bites to eat. I went to the living room to wait for her. Stormy followed along and meowed at me, then was making her circles around me. She rubbed up against my back and gave me lots of kisses today. She loves me again! Haha! She enjoyed some chin scratches while we waited for Sadi. Sadi came out and sat with us for her brushing time. I brushed her with one hand and played with Stormy and her mouse with the other. She made me laugh. She was holding it and kicking it with her back feet. I set the mouse on her a couple times and then she'd grab it and whip it off! Then she'd roll around and attack it some more. At one point, she grabbed the mouse and tossed it across the room! She bounced along behind it, then plopped down next to it like nothing happened. "What? Nothing to see here..."

Oreo & Stuffs

Today Oreo was running to the front door to see me! Stuffs was sitting on my way to the kitchen as well. Both boy were waiting for their dinner tonight. Oreo sat and waited right by me. After I finished cleaning their box, both boys were waiting in the living room for me. Oreo was thoroughly enjoying his attention time. Stuffs sat with us for awhile, then he took off to eat. Oreo laid with me for a bit, getting his chin scratched. Suddenly, he jumped up and was sitting at the window, watching his birdies. Later, I walked around to find Stuffs. He was doing the same thing. He was watching the birds too, but in the kitchen area!

Katy & Sage

Today Katy was snoozing in her house when I got there. Sage was already bouncing around and knew I was coming. My tape job held up so far and the misters were still working. I decided to turn the water back up just a touch so they would have a little more cooling action. I let Katy run around for a bit. She came in by me while I filled her bucket with fresh water. She laid her head against my leg so I'd pet her. Such a sweetie! Sage was still bouncing around excitedly. She took a few dips in her bucket while she waited. Katy got her eye cleaned out, then went to sit and wait for her dinner. It was Sage's turn again. She zoomed around and found some more birds to mess with. She was panting so hard already and kept tossing me her kong. I certainly didn't want to push it, so we held off on our game for today. She hopped in the fresh water right away, then waited for her dinner.

Sadi & Stormy

Stormy was ready to come see me when I walked in today. She was walking around the kitchen, rubbing up against my legs and the nearby cupboards. I gave Stormy her medicine. She followed me to their room and started eating, while I changed out their litter box. I checked under the bed and didn't see Sadi. So, she must be out on the porch. She was sleeping away, all curled up in the corner in the shade. It was a nice cool spot. I took her in for her medicine. She was pretty crusty today so I squirted some saline in her nose to help get some of that out. It did the trick. She's been doing pretty well with her nose. I set her down and she took a couple quick bites, then wandered to the living room. Stormy wandered by while Sadi was getting her attention. I got her to stop and sniff at the leopard mouse. She sure likes the blue and red one better! We had fun with that again today. She kept pretending like she wasn't interested, then would have a crazy spurt!

Oreo & Stuffs

Today Oreo came racing down the stairs when I walked in. He made me laugh! I saw Stuffs sitting at the top of the stairs too, peeking down at me. He made his way down and the boys waited for their dinner. I went and cleaned their box out next. I saw Stuffs was busy eating, but didn't see Oreo. He was already waiting for me. I sat with him and he rolled around, rubbing his head on me. Stuffs came to join us when he was finished. Oreo saw him, then decided to go nibble a bit. So, I pet Stuffs for awhile. Oreo wandered back and laid on the other side of me. I pet both boys for awhile. Oreo was getting a little sassy later! He kept giving me a meow that he didn't want me to pet him anymore. He just wanted to be near me and that's it! He was busy watching for birds again today, while Stuffs took a snooze.

Katy & Sage

Today as I walked in, I noticed the hose attached to the misters had sprung a leak. I shut the water supply off so I could think of a fix. I let Katy out to run around while I cleaned her side out. She had fun exploring. She was a good girl again while I flushed and wiped her eye. Next, it was Sage's turn. We didn't play fetch today, since I had to fix the hose, but she didn't mind. She was busy chasing birds out of the bushes! She made me laugh. I got the girls their dinner, then I worked on the hose a bit. Duct tape works wonders! Haha! It will do for now. I got it so the misters were working better again anyways.

Sadi & Stormy

Today I saw that Stormy was curled up by her window, enjoying the sunlight. I walked over and said hi to her, so she got up and followed me to the kitchen. I gave her her meds quick. I think her lip is getting better, it's just so hard to tell. I feel like I have to tilt her head back more to see it than I used to, so it must be lessening. I set her down, then she was meowing at me. Very talkative today! I stopped to give her a few chin scratches, since she let me. She enjoyed that. I got their food ready, then she followed along. Miss Sadi was lounging out on the patio, soaking up some sun. She was so warm when I picked her up! She came in and got her meds next. I set her down by the food, but she headed to the living room instead. I sat with her and started brushing and petting her. Stormy wandered over and sat against my back. I turned and gave her some more chin scratches. Both girls were purring away! Stormy then walked in front of me and laid by the little kid table. I noticed a mouse toy sitting there, so I tried to see if she would play. She sure did! She was swatting and biting at the little mouse. She had some fun!

Oreo & Stuffs

I walked in today and didn't see Mr. Oreo coming down the stairs, so I headed inside. He was already in the kitchen waiting for me! He sat amd watched, then rubbed up against my legs a bit, while I got his food out. He worked on that while I checked their litter box. As I was walking out of the laundry room, Stuffs caught the corner of my eye. He was curled up and all snuggled on the bed! I stopped in by him to give him a few pets. Oreo was patiently awaiting my return by the living room. He walked to our spot and plopped down. Oreo enjoyed some chin scratches and head rubs. Then, he got up and walked over to the toy basket. So, I grabbed out a few toys and we played a little while. Later, he was content just doing some bird watching. I laid on the floor next to him and was entertained by him watching them! His eyes would get so big. Lots of birds were flying back and forth. A couple times he got up like he was going to go chase after them! Haha! Eventually, Oreo got bored with me and wandered off to go eat. Thank you for the surprise today! That was so sweet. You spoil me!!
