Titus & Angel

Titus and Angel both came racing to see me tonight! Titus was bouncing all over the place, he was so excited. We went into the garage and I got them their dinner right away. It took a minute, but they finally settled down and finished off their food. We went to the backyard to play for a bit before bedtime. I tossed the pumpkin toy for Angel. She would run to get it and shake it about. Titus, of course, would always race with her. Then he'd leap and bounce back over to me. We chased a little bit, but it was still quite warm out. I had them try to settle and cool down a little while I got them some fresh cool water. Angel sat with me and got pet for awhile, then they switched and Titus sat for some attention. When it was time, we headed to their room and I took their collars off for the night.

Buckley, Chloe & Bootsie

Today the pups were quite as I came in to see them. They raced down the stairs, to the door, and to the back of the yard right away! I saw Bootsie laying on the sidewalk, stretching out. He came over to be pet while the dogs were busy exploring. It was quite nice out, not too hot yet and had a nice breeze. Chloe sat by Bootsie and I in the shade for awhile. Buckley curled up in the shade under the tree. The two pups had to go in the garden to check something out, then they returned to their spots to relax. We came inside so they could get a bite to eat. I could see Bootsie sitting by the door, meowing at me through the window! We headed back outside once they finished. Buck was watching a big Blue Jay that was flying in and out of the tree. Then, a big helicopter flew over and had both pups scanning the sky for what that funny noise was! Chloe and Buck both laud under the tree to relax for awhile. Later, a couple more helicopters flew over, which even got Bootsie to look up at them!

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today I walked in and saw Jerrie snoozing away on the middle tier of their kitty tower. Miss Kimmie was not in there with him today. In fact, I didn't see her until I finished up in their room. She was sitting on the table by the couch, waiting for me. She gave me a meow and walked along the back of the couch with me. I brushed Jerrie for awhile and Kimmie climbed up to the top of the tower. Jerrie had an itchy face today I think! I was holding the brush so he could rub his face on it, then I scratched his chin with my other hand, and then he also rubbed his face with a paw! He was sure loving that and purred loudly. Kimmie got her share too, until she was ready to play. She started grabbing onto the adjuster stick for the blinds and had fun swatting at that. Then, I used the handle of the brush to sneak up the sides of her bed for her to try and get! Jerrie looked up at me like, "Why did you stop petting me?" So I was able to both while playing with the brush with Kimmie, and didn't have to worry about her catching my fingers!

Murdy & Charlie

Yesterday I tried to see how just the two doses would do for Charlie, since his eye was looking so much better. He was looking a tiny bit more swollen again today, so I will come back tonight to make sure he gets a third. Murdy met me at the door and was meowing away this morning. He was immediately attached to my leg and followed me everywhere. Time to get the little one! I put his drop in and noticed a little discharge in the other eye. So I cleaned him up and will start applying the drops to the other eye so it doesn't get bad. He was doing some sneezing today, but didn't have any nasal discharge as of yet. The boys played in their tunnel together while I took care of their things. They sat in the sun and groomed each other again, then Charlie zoomed off to go use the scratching post. We played with the laser light a little today. Charlie got tackled a few times, but Murdy started to realize when my hands started coming towards him, that I was going to stop his fun. So, he aborted many of his attempts! Charlie snuggled up with me a little today too. Whenever Charlie is in the room, Murdy has no interest in me or his toys. As soon as Charlie gets put back in his room though, Murdy wants his attention!

Taz & Clyde

This morning the boys were happy to see me. Taz was sniffing at all the other animal smells on me as soon as I walked in. They went outside while I got their breakfast ready. Clyde was too excited to eat at first! He was wandering around the house, wanting to go for his walk. Finally, he got working on his food. With his late start, they both finished up at the same time. So then, we got ready for a long walk. It was much cooler out this morning than the past few, so that was nice! It had warmed up by this afternoon. The boys went outside while I found them each a dental chew. They worked on those for a few minutes. Then, Clyde laid in the shade of the patio. Taz made himself comfortable at the far end of the pool to sun himself a bit. Later, he made sure to come over and sniff at me. Clyde came inside with me while I got them some fresh water. This evening I noticed Taz had fun with one of the towels that were set out while I was gone. I let them out, then they worked on dinner. When they finished they got excited for their walk. They turned their heads sideways at me to see if I was coming. I asked if they were sure and then they tilted to the other side. Soon they both came running at me like, "C'mon, let's go!" We took our walk and they took one last break outside. Taz found a huge toad he tried to play with! He almost didn't want to come back in!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I saw Stormy lounging in her chair on the patio. As soon as she heard me inside the house, she came running in to see me. She sat in the kitchen, looked up at me and meowed. She wandered off while I got their food ready. As I was taking the bowls to their room, I saw her rolling around in the corner by the kid's toys. She followed me in to eat while I took care of Sadi. She was sleeping in her usual spot at the foot of the bed. Stormy came out and loved on me while Sadi was eating. Sadi came out and sat right next to Stormy. She apparently didn't like that and took off to sit in the window. Sadi enjoyed the rest of the time getting her chin scratched.

Rusty, Ruby & the gang

This morning Heyday and Chloe were laying in thr grass next to the new fence. Justin was off laying under a tree. Miss Ruby ran outside with me to go potty while I filled their bucket. Rusty must have been snoozing in the house, since he hadn't come out with us. I took care of the turtles and then Salem's things. I saw Rusty's little toes sticking out from under the bed. I peeked in at him, then he came running out to go outside with us. We played just a little bit of fetch, then the pups did some exploring. This afternoon Ruby was bouncing up and down excitedly in her cage. She and Rusty raced along behind me to go outside. They both went and sprawled out in the grass to warm themselves in the sunlight. Heyday was right by the gate and backed up to itch his heiny against it! He got comfy too and laid down in the shade. This evening Rusty and Ruby met me at the door. Rusty was doing the happy heiny wiggle dance! The pups went outside while I fed Justin, Chloe & Heyday. Ruby was ready for her dinner next, so I fed her while I refilled water dishes. Rusty and I played some fetch when I got back outside.

Griffin & Macy

This morning I didn't even get a single bark when I walked in! They both had woken up and were just sitting and waiting for me to come to the back door. It was a very nice morning out, so we spent most of the time outside. Griffin came by me once in awhile, leaning up against me for a back scratch. He and Macy explored around the yard and did a lot of sniffing around. Later, we headed in and they each got a drink and nibbled a bit for breakfast. This afternoon the pups got up and followed me outside. Griffin stretched out on the grass for awhile and sunned himself. Macy rolled around in the grass and itched her back. She was busy sniffing all around the yard again. Griffin came up to smell the other pet smells on me and got his back scratched for a bit. We went inside for a bit so they could get a drink. Macy started nibbling on their food, so Griffin had to have a few bites too. The neighbor dog was out when we went back out for their last potty break. So, they all started racing along the fence! This evening Macy came down the hallway to see me. I let the pups outside so they could do their business. Macy wandered off to do some checking around. Griffin and I had some fun playing fetch with his football! While we were playing, a bird flew overhead, so Griffin had to drop the ball and try to chase it. We headed in so Griff could get some food and water. They've been very good about eating for me! They come in and nibble a bit every time. Later, we went back outside again for the rest of our visit. Griffin had brought his football inside, so we played with the baseball instead. He was bouncing around and being all silly!
