Pokey

This morning it was very windy outside again. Pokey met me in the entryway, and pranced along ahead of me to go do his thing. I checked on the crab's water while he was busy. It didn't take long, before Pokey was ready to come back inside. He and I snuggled up in the chair for awhile. This afternoon it had warmed up a bit. Pokey and I spent the whole time outside. He would go off to the outer parts of the yard to explore. This evening Pokey was ready for his bedtime potty break. He and I went outside for awhile. He disappeared in the dark, doing more checking around. When it was time to come in, I checked his dishes for the night.

Eisley & Indy

This morning I saw Indy's nose peeking at me through the door. They both started barking as soon as I walked in. Time to eat! They bounced around excitedly, while I filled their dishes. After they ate, Eisley and Indy sat by me for a few minutes to be pet. Indy kept nudging her over, wanting it all to himself! Haha. This evening the pups were ready for their dinner. Indy finished first, and was eyeing up Eisley's bowl. She was on her last bite though. Indy took off outside to go bark at something. He came racing back in when he heard me getting out the cookies!

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today I let Ruby out of her bed, then she and Rusty zoomed out through the doggie door. I guess they didn't need me today! Haha. I went out to join them. It was another beautiful afternoon. The pups spent awhile exploring. I wasn't quite sure, but thought maybe Rusty was looking for his red ball. He kept digging in leaf piles. Ruby was even running around being silly. Once Ruby went in, I tagged along and visited with silly Lance for a bit.  He was playing with his mouse toy well, but occasionally I thought he was going to go after my toes. I had to quickly distract him! Haha. Rusty and I went back outside later and he brought along his purple ball. He was too busy sniffing around to want to play fetch though.

Sadi & Stormy

This evening the girls were both sitting or laying in their little bed on the floor. Sadi was sitting and looking around. I checked their humidifier, then took her to get her her meds. She is doing well this evening. I got them a little more water and set her in by their food in case she was hungry.

Sophie & Roxy

Today the girls were out and watching for me again. I came inside and opened the door, but didn't see anyone. I guess they were still waiting by the gate! I called for them and finally let the door shut, before they came running. Inside, I got them their food, then we headed to our spot. Sophie was laying on me for a good while, as Roxy was rubbing her face on my shoulder or pawing at me. Silly ladies! They eventually went to go nibble on some food. I couldn't get a good pic of Roxy today, because she was either too wiggly or being camera shy! They took turns sitting on the couch with me, while the other was off elsewhere. Sophie was just meandering in mom and dad's room for a bit. They miss you guys! The girls were quick to run outside to play again when I went to get them more water and their snacks.

Noah, Harper & Henry

Today the boys were all at the door to greet me. I came inside and got their lunches ready right away. All three quickly polished off their dishes, so then they were able to go out to do their business. The boys were more concerned with what I was doing at first, rather than going out to play. I saw mom's note about the muddy yard. Noah was a good boy and stayed clean. Noah had to lead the pack to the fence to say hi when the neighbor came out. Then, they slowly wandered back for more attention from me. Henry was ready to go back inside pretty soon. We all headed in and I wiped their paws just in case. I had Harper kissing my face while I was trying to do that! Haha. Noah and Harper were both being silly inside and would hop on the couch and sit behind me. Henry was busy sitting on his hind legs by the counter, wanting some treats! At one point, I had all three laying down and giving me pouty faces for snacks. They crack me up!
