Ty, Dillon & Boo

Boo met me right at the front door tonight. He meowed and rolled on the floor for a minute, so I gave him a pet. By now, the pups were barking, wondering who was here! Boo followed me around everywhere. I said hi to Dillon and Ty, then let them out of their room. The bounced up and down at my legs excitedly! We headed outside, but they were too busy checking me out to go potty. So, I went inside for a few minutes so they would do their business. Boo climbed up on the table and meowed at me, so I filled his food dish. He was too interested in me to eat either. He helped me clean his box by hopping in and inspecting my work! Haha! Then, he leapt and bounded from chair to table to any other furniture like a little kangaroo on our way to the fish tank. He sat at my feet and watched to make sure I fed them just right. I went back out by the boys, who were happy to see me again. They sniffed at me all over and gave me lots of kisses! Eventually they decided to go explore around the yard for a bit. We headed inside and they were very good at letting me clean their eyes. Then, I made sure they had food, water and toys in their room for bedtime.

Oreo & Stuffs

I didn't see any kitties at first when I walked in today. So, I called for them. As I made my way to the kitchen, I saw Oreo upstairs making his way down to see me. He came and laid on the floor while I got their food ready. Oreo got to work as I cleaned out their box. When I came out I didn't see Oreo anywhere, so I went upstairs to find Stuffs. He was making his way down to see me. Then Oreo appeared at the top of the stairs as well. We all headed back down, and it was as if we just picked up where we left off! Both boys laid on the floor by me and got some attention. Eventually Stuffs wandered off to go nibble on some food. I got out a mouse toy for Oreo and we had some fun with that! He would jump up and chase it for a second, then plop down like it was just too much work. Haha!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I peeked out the back door, but didn't see Stormy laying out there in her usual spots. So, I started getting their food ready. Stormy came wandering out from the patio and started purring and rubbing against my legs. She got to work on breakfast while I located Sadi. She was sleeping under the top of the bed today. I got her cleaned up, then gave her her medications. I set her down to eat as well. Both girls came out to see me shortly after. Sadi sat in front of me and got her chin and chest scratches. Stormy was making her circles around me, rubbing her face all along me. She laid down against my legs and started licking me. I was able to pet both girls at the same time. They loved every second. They will sure be happy to see mom!

Murdy & Charlie

Last night Charlie zoomed out of the bedroom as soon as I cracked the door. I put his drops in, then on my way out, he did the same thing! He sure is a quick little one. This morning Murdy was rubbing up against my legs as I walked in. He raced up to the counter while I set the mail down. I stopped there for a second and he rested his head against mine. So sweet! Then, he walked me down the hallway to get Charlie. He must have had fun after I left! His medication was on the floor and the change on the dresser was strewn all over the table. After he got his medication, we went out to see Murdy. They played and groomed while I took care of their things. Charlie was quite the little crazy man today! He was zooming all over the place, in and out and on top of the tunnel, tumbling and rolling around. He initiated as many tackles as Murdy did! He's starting to get brave. Murdy seemed a little confused for a minute and wasn't sure if he should run away or not! When it was time to go, I had to catch him in mid run as he was going to go pounce on something.

Titus & Angel

This morning the pups were awake and excited to see me. I let them out right away, while I got their breakfast ready. Titus came back in and was bouncing around, ready to play! He got down in his playful posture, challenging me to come chase him. He wandered over and started to nibble on some food, while Angel sat with me for a back scratch. Later, we went and sat out back. Titus rolled over at my feet and got a belly rub, then he sat up and enjoyed having his ears rubbed too. Angel curled up and relaxed on the nice cool concrete. Later, she got me her pumpkin and we played some fetch. Titus wanted to join in, so he grabbed onto the toy as well and they had a little tug match. I threw it for Angel, then Titus would race laps around the yard, bouncing around like a little reindeer! He thought it was fun to jump as high as he could over the toy laying in the grass. Silly guy! This evening both pups were already at the back door when I walked in! Titus was bouncing up and down. I had them come inside to eat their dinner. They both laid down and finished their food pretty quick. We went back outside for awhile so they could play and get a last potty break in before bedtime. We heard some loud banging sounds from off in the distance that got Angel a little worked up. She would run over to me when we would hear it, and wasn't sure if she should be scared or not. As soon as it stopped, she went back to playing. When it was time I got them in their room, made sure they had plenty of water, and took their collars off for them.

Taz & Clyde

This morning the boys came running to say hello. As we walked to the back door, I saw Clyde had both towels out in the middle of the living room floor. I put them up high this time so he wouldn't get into trouble. They went outside while I got their breakfast and water ready. After they ate, we went for our long morning walk. We saw a couple ducks along the way, but that didn't seem to phase the boys. They were more interested in what the other dogs in the neighborhood were doing. This afternoon Clyde was following me around when I arrived. He helped me go pick out a couple dental chews for them. We all headed outside and the boys each found a good spot to lay and enjoy their treats. It was quite toasty out this afternoon. They both laid in the shade until we headed back in. I got them some fresh cool water before I left. This evening the boys met me at the door as usual. We headed outside before dinner. Clyde was excited and ready to go! I got them all hooked up and Clyde started jumping up and down all the way to the door. We took our long walk, then headed back home.

Rusty, Ruby & the gang

Today I saw Justin was just chillin' in the water. Chloe and Heyday were at the far end of the yard, just walking around. Their bucket was a bit dirty today, so I cleaned ghat out before refilling it. After feeding and watering everyone else, Rusty was waiting outside for me with his ball for a game of fetch. This afternoon I let Ruby out and we all headed outside. Ruby didn't stay out long. She thought it was too hot out! Instead of working on his tan, Rusty actually wanted to play some fetch. He brought me his ball and we had fun with that for awhile. He would have kept going, but I made him come inside for a break. The two silly pups went and sat in their room. Miss Ruby had been working on a bone. As I was leaving, I saw Salem curled up on the bed. I stopped to say hi and let her smell me a bit. Tonight Ruby saw me in the window and raced to the door to say hi. She and Rusty both were doing their little wiggly butt dance that they do! I walked out and fed Justin, Heyday and Chloe. After they finished eating, they all went for a swim! Ruby spent most of my visit inside again, since it was still quite warm out. Rusty was happy to get another game of fetch in! When we went inside I got him a fresh bowl of cool water to drink.

Griffin & Macy

This morning Griffin & Macy both woke up when I walked inside. We went out to the backyard right away so they could do their business. Then, we headed in and I got them ready to go. We took a nice long walk around the neighborhood. When I picked up he leashes, they knew what was about to happen and got very excited! When we got back home they had a chance to eat a little and get some water. Then, it was outside for one last quick potty break. This afternoon I came in and Macy was barking. She must not have seen me go through the kitchen, because I was already at the back door and she was still barking at the front! It took her just a second, then she turned around and went trotting outside. The neighbor pups were out too, so Griffin and Macy went to the fence to check them out. Griffin wanted to play fetch and brought me his tennis ball. After a couple throws, he decided it was too hot to play and laid down. It wasn't long before we all went in to cool off. Griffin helped himself to some lunch. He was blocking the bowl, so Macy couldn't get in there to eat with him. So instead, she stood by me to get pet. Griffin realized this and used his heiny to nudge her out of the way! He was just a little jealous haha! This evening Griffin was excited to get outside and play! He went right for his football and got it for me. A couple times I thought he wanted to play tug, because he wasn't sure if he wanted to let me have the ball! Then, Griff was sitting next to both the baseball and his football, staring at me like he couldn't decide which one to play with. Macy was busy this whole time sniffing around the yard. We headed in later for dinner, then one last potty break and finally bedtime.
