Buddy, Dakota & Shelly

The pups were all dancing at the gate this morning when I came in. I got Dakota all leashed up, then we headed outside. Shelly and Buddy went roaming around. It was super nice out already this morning. I let Dakota lead me around the yard for awhile. Then, he just kept taking me to the door, wanting his treats! So instead, I decided to lead him around. We walked all over the place, while the other two explored. When we finally did go in, they each got a couple treats. I pet them all for a bit, and found Shelly's spot. She did the husky scratchy heiny dance that mine does! When I'd stop, she'd go bounce around, then come right back for more. Of course, the boys wanted in on the action next. This evening I took everyone out when I arrived. A storm is making its way in, so it was very windy and getting cold. Buddy and Shelly both ran around, being silly. So, Dakota and I ran around a bit too. Once they had spent some time outside and did their business, we headed in. I cleaned up one little boo boo. Buddy kept trying to walk in front of me while I was cleaning! Goofy boy. Since we had some time left, we headed back out again. Shelly decided she wanted to stay in, and curled up on her blankly. The boys and I wandered around and explored the yard. Buddy found a stick that he was having a blast with! He was hopping around like a crazy man and then would pounce back on the stick. He made me laugh. Back inside, I gave the pooches one more treat and said goodnight.

Mac

Today Mac came running up to the gate to say hi. Then, he went and grabbed his ball for me. I got out his rope toy and we got to our game of fetch right away. It was nice and warm out again for us. Today, Mac played a little more tug of war in between throws. I accidentally tossed his rope over the fence one time. Mac seemed pretty concerned when it went over that he couldn't get it! He waited for me while I went to save it. We played for quite awhile before he got pooped out. The little neighbor puppy was watching us and cried to join in! Mac watched me fill up his water buckets, and I splashed a little water on him to cool him off a bit. He was ready to play again after that! When it was time, I got him his food and gave him a couple snacks.
