Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

This afternoon Rusty got up and did a big stretch when he heard me come in. Lance was wandering around the kitchen as well. I let Ruby out, then she and Rusty followed me outside. It was very nice out today! We hung around outside for awhile. Ruby came and sat with me for a little attention before she headed back in. Rusty and I stayed out and played fetch for a bit longer. Inside, Lance came and snuggled with me. He purred and purred away. He climbed up behind me on the couch and had fun playing with my ponytail for a bit too!

Both girls were snuggled up together on mom's bed when I walked in tonight. So cute!! Stormy woke up, but I had to wake Sadi up for her medicine. Her nose looked really good this evening.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

This morning the pooches all were dancing at the door when I got there. They had done well overnight again. I took them all outside for a little bit. They came in and everyone followed me around until I got to their dish, then they got right to work. Within a couple minutes, they all had polished off their dishes. We went back outside again later. Hudson was busy barking at something on the other side of the fence, so Blackie trotted over there to see what he was up to. This evening I took the pups out one by one to do their business. It was so nice out! I let them play for awhile, before we went in for their dinner. They spent more time playing outside after, to enjoy the nice weather.

This morning the pups all raced outside to do their business. Meanwhile, I got them some breakfast and filled their water bowls. Bella followed me around a bit, then she decided to go explore in the yard. They weren't too concerned with eating much this morning for me. Later, I heard Chico back in the hall barking like crazy. I thought maybe Bella was trying to get a bone he had, and he was yelling at her... so I called for her. She came wandering in from outside. She was being good! So, I went to go see what the little man was up to. I saw him in the spare bedroom standing in front of the mirror. I started to laugh because I thought he was barking at his reflection. As I got closer... I saw what he was really barking at! You caught a little critter. I got Chico out of the room and closed the door, so he would worry about other things. This afternoon everyone went out and roamed about the yard. It was a beautiful afternoon! Chico spent most of his time inside, keeping watch over his treat. Before I left, I got them all their peanut butter snacks.

This morning I let the older gals outside right away. Henry and Smudge were wandering around the kitchen. I let Miss Gracie out to visit with me until it was her turn to go out. I fed the ladies their breakfast. After they were done, I checked on food and litter box for the kitties. I had the girls take another potty break, while Gracie and I visited. She wanted to spend the morning outside, so I made sure she had her bowl full of water before I left. This afternoon, I saw Gracie was lounging in the grass, soaking up some sun. She saw me and headed for the back door. She came in, while Emma went out. I had to go looking for Molly, since she wasn't coming when I called. She was just laying down, relaxing. I decided to take Miss Gracie out for a walk, since it was so nice out. We only took a short one though. There were some loose dogs out and they were headed our way, so we decided to go back home. When the girls were done playing out back, Gracie went out to enjoy some more of the afternoon.

This morning Moody was ready for some attention! I pet him as I made my way to the back door. I filled all the dishes with food, before they heard me and woke up. Sugar was snuggled in one of the doggie igloos, while the others filed out from the shed. They all bounced circles around me excitedly. I let them work on their food a bit, while I visited Moody. He was enjoying some chin scratches, purring away! I made sure everyone had plenty of food and water before I left.

The kiddos had been great overnight. I took them each outside right away for a potty break. When they were all ready, we came inside for breakfast and some water. They got another potty break when they were finished. The girls wanted in, since it was a little cool out this morning. When they came in, Zel was working on burrowing in the blankets on the couch. That got Gabbie curious. She was at the other end, trying to peek under the covers. Zel didn't want to share! Haha. I tucked them all in their beds for the day. This evening everyone was in a howling mood when I walked in! We went outside for a little while. It was very nice out tonight. After they had some time to play, they came in for dinner. We went right back out as soon as they were done, so they could enjoy some time outside. Neighbor kids were out playing, so that had all the pups curiously watching. When it was time, we headed inside for the night.

This evening I spotted Smudge right away. Emma emerged and came to say hi. I checked outside for Gracie but didn't see her right away. I looked a second time, then she came running. I guess she was off exploring! I let the other two out while I got dinner ready. Miss Gracie had no reservations with me at all this time. She was being her silly self, running around and being excited. The pups all ate their dinners pretty quick. Emma went outside again, but Miss Molly was done for the night. Charlie and Henry joined us in the kitchen, wanting a bit of attention as well. When it was time, I got the pups tucked in for the night.

This morning everyone zoomed out of their beds. Bella gave me her hellos before I got them their breakfast. It was a little cool, but pretty nice out already this morning. Bella and Chico did a little exploring about the yard. Louie kept going from bowl to bowl to eat some food. Silly boy! This afternoon we all spent awhile outside. It was so nice out. Bella snuck in and grabbed a rawhide from somewhere, then laid in the garden. She looked like she was hiding in the wilderness in the tall brush. Haha! Chico came and sat in my lap for a bit, then he and Louie were roaming around. This evening, the pups did much better about eating their dinners. Bella would run over to me, to make sure she wasn't missing anything, then would return to her bowl.

This evening Blackie came wandering in the kitchen to see me. I thought I'd see the others running up, but then I saw mom's note. I let all the kiddos out for a potty break. It didn't take long before they lined up at the gate, ready for dinner. I brought them each inside and got them their food. After they had some time to get a drink, it was back outside they went. It was very nice out! They had some time to run around and explore before bedtime.

This afternoon Moody was meowing at me through the door when I walked in. He hopped along the furniture as I made my way to the door. The pups all came racing once I got outside. Sugar and Freckles both got to work on their food. The three little pups were hopping up and down at my legs. Heighty ran and grabbed a ball and kept tossing it over to me. We played fetch for awhile, until the other pups interrupted. This evening Moody got a few pets as I made my way outside. Heighty brought her ball over right away, while the others worked on dinner. Later, I headed inside and spent some time with Moody.

This evening the pups started barking when they heard me pull up. They were so excited! I let them all out and they zoomed outside. Bella was pretty much attached to my hip at first! I got them their dinners, then we spent some time outside. After Bella had enough hellos, she eventually wandered off to explore. Louie took the opportunity to steal from her bowl, since she was busy. Later, I noticed Louie and Chico had been inside awhile, so I went to check on them. Those silly boys! They were both in their beds, snacking on some rawhides. I tucked them all in for the night. I didn't get any pictures since it was dark and they were too wiggly with excitement.

This afternoon Rusty got up from his nap and came to say hi. I let Ruby out, then we all headed outside. It was cool and windy today. The gate kept banging loudly, so that sent Ruby racing back in when she finished her business. Rusty wasn't interested in playing fetch either, so he and I went in shortly after. Lance was quick to take over my lap. He kept finding strings on my clothes to play with. We tried to look for his toy, but still couldn't find it anywhere. Later, I caught Lance snuggling with Rusty. So cute!

This afternoon was very windy outside! I came in and let Miss Ruby out. It wasn't until she raced out of her bed, that Rusty emerged. Lance was following me around and pawing at my legs. Haha little rascal! The pups and I went outside for awhile. Rusty went right out to his spot to roll around on the ground. He and I played some fetch, while Ruby explored a bit. It was getting so windy out that dust kept blowing in my eyes, so it was time to head in. Lance came right up and snuggled on my lap, purring away. He was in a playful mood though, and kept climbing all over. He and Rusty were even messing around a bit.

This morning Stormy was very lovey! She followed me around while I took the food to their room and kept rubbing up against my legs, meowing at me. Sadi was wandering about the bedroom as well. I picked her up to give her her morning medicine. The girls both ate a bit, then we visited. Sadi enjoyed a long brushing session and purred away. Stormy curled up on the footstool for most of the time.

This morning Lily followed me to the back door to head outside right away. She and the big pups wandered about the yard to do their business. Lily and I headed inside again to get breakfast ready. Sophie and Max quickly finished off the last of their food this morning. Afterwards, all three were busy exploring. Sophie was having a blast rolling around in the grass for a bit. Max and Sophie chased and wrestled around awhile as well.

This morning Lily came prancing up to see me. She and I went outside to see the other pups. They all took their morning potty break. Lily followed me inside, while I got breakfast ready. She got to work right away. The other two polished off their bowls. They spent a little time running around and playing. This evening Lily went ahead of me to wait at the back door. Sophie and Max ran around until I got their dinner for them. Sophie was almost too excited to settle and eat tonight. Finally, she did, when Max was trying to go for her portion. After dinner, Sophie was running around carrying her soccer ball. That got Max following her around. Eventually, he stole it! Sophie didn't seem to mind, and went to go find her bone.

Lily was wiggling her little heiny when I walked in this morning. She was happy to see me! We headed outside to let the big pups out. While they were all busy, I got everyone's breakfast ready. Lily went inside to eat and relax a bit. Sophie and Max finished their food, then ran around awhile. Sophie kept prancing around with her bone she found in the yard. This evening Lily came outside while I let the others out. The big pups worked on their dinners. Afterwards, they ran around for a bit. Sophie and the neighbor dog kept barking at each other, so I had to keep calling her over. I got them all tucked in for the night.

This morning the girls were sleeping and cozy in their house. They got up and came inside to see me. After I got them their food, we went to our spot. This morning both girls were rolling around, kicking their feet in the air, squirming and sliding from one end of the couch to the other! They're so funny. They took turns pawing at me for pets, then giving me kisses. I think they knew mom and dad would be home soon. Roxy went and laid on the bed for awhile and Sophie just sat in there, looking at me. Later, they worked on their food, before it was time to head outside again.

This morning I let Miss Sammy outside right away. I got her some breakfast and water. The boys were ready for their turn. Carson went out for a little bit, while I got them some fresh water as well. Benson and Angus took their turn when it was time. Benson was such a good boy for his eye medicine! I though it was cute how he'd tilt his head, getting ready for me to put the next one in. "Here's this side." Bella went out for the day as well, so I moved her food and water out there for her.

This morning Sammy was the only one awake when I arrived. The boys were all snoring away! I let Sammy out first and gave her some breakfast and fresh water. Next, it was Carson's turn. I let him have awhile out there to roam around a bit. Benson and Angus both were bouncing around excitedly when it was their turn to be let out. I gave Benson his eye drops, then they all got a treat before I left. This evening Benson was barking to announce my arrival. I let Carson out for a quick potty break, while I got food ready for the boys. Benson and Angus got started on their dinner as they waited. They both got to spend some time outside when they finished. After everyone had eaten and got their potty breaks, they each got a couple little treats. Miss Sammy came in for the night. I made sure Bella had enough food and water for the evening as well.

This afternoon the house was quiet when I arrived. I let everyone out of their beds, then we headed outside. Zoie made sure to gather up a few toys first! It was a little cooler out today, but the sun was shining and warm. We spent the whole time outside. Sadie and Cole sat with me for awhile. Sadie was busy giving me her kisses, while Coley wanted his heiny scratches. Eventually they wandered off to do their own thing. Both girls had fun rolling around in the grass, getting their fur all full of it! They both got cleaned off before they went back inside. This evening, the pups all met me in the laundry room. They all went out for their bedtime potty break. It took Cole a little coaxing to get him out to the grass. He was the first to return, followed by Zoie and her toys. Sadie stayed out to roam for awhile. Cole sat with me for a little attention inside. Miss Zoie was busy chewing on her bone, and keeping an eye on me that I wouldn't steal them. Haha! Sadie came back in and sat by me giving me kisses. I got them all their dinner and some water.

Today the girls were busy running laps from one end of the yard to the other! On their way across again, they saw I was there and made a detour for the door. They came inside and I got them some dinner. They hopped on the couch excitedly. Sophie rolled back and sprawled herself across my lap, making herself good and comfy. They both were squirming and rolling all over the place. The girls were full of kisses today, for each other and me! Once they settled, they worked up an appetite and went to eat. The girls snuggled up with me the rest of the time, until it was time to go out and get their snacks!

This morning a sleepy Lily emerged from the bedroom. She did a big stretch, then headed outside with me. I let the big pups out as well. They ran around and wrestled a bit. I got all three their breakfast to work on. Lily came back outside with us when she was finished. The big pups both ran into their bed when I went to change their water. They were busy slathering my face with kisses when I was trying to grab the bowl! This evening Lily met me at the door, ready to go outside. The big pups came out and went to do their thing as well. I brought out their dinner to work on. After Max finished his, I had to help keep him away from Sophie so she could eat. He just wanted it all! The kiddos spent awhile roaming around outside. Later, Lily wanted to go inside. She found a couple toys that she dug out from the dog bed. Max and Sophie were chasing around and wrestling each other, right up until it was time to go back to their bed. I think they burned off some energy tonight!

This evening all was quiet when I walked in. I let Carson outside first, while I read notes. Next, Angus and Benson took their turns. Benson is such a happy guy! He's cute. All the pups worked on their dinner, so I went to check on Bella. Benson got his eye meds before they took their second turn outside. Miss Sammy was trotting along behind me when it was time for her to come in for the night. They all got a bedtime snack before I left.

This afternoon I walked in and Rusty was already on the hunt for his ball! Lance was meowing at me when I let Ruby out. I went outside with the pups. Ruby lounged on the patio to soak up some sunshine for quite awhile. Rusty and i played a long game of fetch too. Later, Lance got his playtime in. We spotted Salem when we went on the hunt for his toy. She just sat still, hoping we wouldn't notice! Haha.
