Rusty & Ruby

Ruby raced out of her bed today and ran for the back door. Rusty got up from his chair in the living room and followed along. We all headed outside for awhile. Ruby looked a little nervous today, so I walked out with her and encouraged her to potty. She eventually did her business, then laid in the grass awhile. Rusty sprawled out on his belly, next to his red ball. It was a bit on the warm side today, so he wasn't too interested in playing. He was happy to get his sunbathing in though! When Ruby went inside, Rusty went to lay on the patio in the sunshine. He eventually went in to cool off as well. They were both lounging on their furniture in the living room.

Winston

This afternoon I let little man Winston out of his room and got his harness on. We headed outside for our walk. We wandered around for awhile, so he could sniff around and check out his trees and bushes. It was a bit hotter outside today, so we headed in to cool down. Once Winston got inside, he slid around on the floor, which seems to be his thing nowadays. Haha! I got his harness off, then grabbed his rope. We played tug with that for awhile, then he had fun shredding on it.

Eddie & Butler

Today I let Eddie out while I sprayed Butler's medicine on. I noticed another paw that was all flared up today, so I got that one as well. The boys ran outside ahead of me. Butler was rolling around on the outside couch, being a silly boy. Eddie wandered over to see what he was up to. Then, the boys decided it was time to give me lots of kisses! They lounged around on the patio most of the time today. Occasionally, they would run over to the fence to check things out, or head inside for a drink. Eddie hung around outside the longest. When it was time to go in, I found Butler lounging on the ottoman.

Oscar

Today I opened the door, ready to say hi to my bud. But, he wasn't there! He was being a lazy boy today. He did a big stretch as he hopped down from the couch, on his way to see me. After some heiny scratches, we headed outside. I grabbed his frisbee and tossed it to him, which he caught. He wanted to play keep away, so I had to chase him around to try and get it again! I threw his frisbee again, but this time he plopped down in the grass. Well that was short-lived! Haha. He must have still been a little sleepy from his nap. Oscar lounged around in the shade, then alternated a few times into different sunny areas. He went over to the fence when the neighbors got home to see what they were up to. Then, he went to lounge some more. When he went in, I got his treat out. I hadn't asked him to do anything yet, so he was cruising through all the tricks he knew, on his own! That made me laugh.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came wandering in to see me. She waited in the living room for me to return from out back. She meowed away at me. I picked her up in the kitchen and she got her dose of medicine this morning. Sadi was sitting in the food room, giving her face a bath. I got her nose cleaned up and she got her morning meds. I let the girls eat while I worked on the floors. I heard Stormy coughing quite a bit, while she was trying to eat. While I waited for the floors to dry, I went to visit with Sadi. Stormy had now curled up on her dining chair to take a nap. Sadi was already napping too, by the breakfast bowls. I put her in her bed and brushed her for awhile there. She got all comfy and closed her eyes, purring away. I think she was a happy girl! I cleaned her nosey up again before I left. Poor thing, I'm always picking on her! Haha. This evening I was happy to find Sadi sleeping soundly, all curled up and comfy in her bed. I woke her up for her medicine. Her nose looked pretty good this evening. Stormy must have been out lounging on her patio chair, because I didn't see or hear her as I went by.

Riley & Hunter

This morning it sounded almost too quiet when I walked up to the house. I thought maybe the pooches were sleeping. Nope! They both stuck their noses out at me as I cracked open the door. Haha. Hunter was quick to start talking about how he wanted to play. I let them out, while I switched up the house stuff quick. Outside, I got Hunter's ball and we played a game of fetch. Riley did her business, then came to relax on the patio. Hunter didn't want to stop playing this morning. After I told him we were all done, he proceeded to dig out his frisbee and paw at the other toys in the corner. Haha! It was another nice cool morning, so we stayed out as long as we could before breakfast. When we got inside, the pups both polished off their their bowls. This evening, Hunter was ready to play. I let them out for a few minutes, while I took care of my stuff. When I got out, he was waiting right by his ball for me. We got his game in, while Riley was busy wandering around. As soon as we finished his game, we went in to get their dinner. Hunter ate pretty quick for me, but Riley wasn't interested. I gave her a little time and tried to coax her, but since she wasn't having any, we decided to go back out for awhile. Before I left, they both got their bedtime snacks. Riley headed down the hall to the bedroom as I left, to go take a nap.
