Cali

Today miss Cali welcomed me at the door. She always peeks through to see who's home, then proceeds with her rolling! She sat and waited for me to get her new flavor of yummy food. She got busy working on that as I cleaned her box quick. Back in the living room, she wandered over and began rubbing her face on my back. She was quite snuggly today! Cali walked circles around me, rubbing against my knees next. She kept plopping down next to me and reaching out for me with her paws. I'd give her a little scratch on the forehead. She was also playful again too and had fun with her shoe string until it was time to go.

Baxter & Bubba

This afternoon Bubba was walking in circles around me, happy to see me. Baxter immediately got up from his doggie bed and waddled over to say hi. I gave them both some attention real quick, before getting to their food. They waited excitedly by their bowls again. Baxter licked his chops when I popped open one of the cans. He started chowing down while I got to Bubba's food. He hopped up on the washer and sat eagerly watching me open his packet of delicious mooshy food. While he ate, I sat with Baxter again and made sure he ate a decent amount for me.

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie

Bootsie was so cute all snuggled up on the chair today when I came. I let the pooches out and they ran straight for their tree! They were frantically running circles around it while sniffing, trying to pick up a scent. Buck took a break and came running for me. He stuck his heiny in the air and buried his face in my lap while I gave him a good back scratch. Later, he ran and pounced on his squeaky squirrel toy and tossed it playfully around. He laid down and chewed on that for a bit. Miss Chloe was being a naughty girl. I caught her trying to dig under the fence! There was a brick nearby, so I moved it on top of where she was digging. That did the trick! She stopped and would only sniff around that area. Later I had a good laugh watching the dogs. They were all surrounding their tree. Then, they would move their heads up or sit down simultaneously, like synchronized swimming! Or, they would run over to the fence and one-by-one would go down the line, doing the same thing! When it was time, we headed back in by Bootsie, who was still all cozy in his chair.

Zeus, Zena & Baby

Today Zeus and Zena followed me outside to go play. Baby was waiting for us, peeking through the door. Zeus found a piece of paper that was flying around in the yard. He thought it was so much fun to tear it up! Later Baby got a turn to do the same. I walked over to fill up their water bowl and silly Zena was walking in between my legs! She and Zeus began wrestling around together. Then, Zeus started racing around and around in circles as fast as he could! Whenever he would pass by Zena, she would join in the chase. Then she would stop and wait for him to run by again. While those two were messing around, Baby was busy exploring by the side of the house.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

The boys came to see me at the door right away today. I let them outside, then went on the hunt for Sugar. Charlie was sure excited about something today! He was just chirping away. I found Sugar all bundled up in a blanket in one of their beds. She slowly peeked out, then did a big stretch before coming outside with us. They all did a lot of exploring. Jimmy found something to crunch on. I brought everyone in and they got to spend the rest of the afternoon roaming the house. They were such good puppies all day! When I got there this evening the boys and even Sugar were all bouncing in the kitchen. I let them outside to do their business while I got their potatoes ready. They came in and cleaned off their plates, then I gave them each an egg white. They gobbled those up too! We spent most of the remaining time outside since it was very nice out. When we came in I threw Jimmy's toy for him a few times. Charlie was chuckling with me! That of course made me laugh more, so he copied me.

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

Today Dilly was bouncing behind me and Roxy and Biscuit were ahead of me on the way to the back door. Dilly hopped up and sat in my lap for a bit. Roxy found her ball and brought it over for a game of fetch. She and Biscuit would race after it together. One time it rolled under the shed, so Dilly and Roxy went under to find it! Biscuit caught the ball first a few times, so Roxy would come cry to me that he stole it. At one point, Dilly and Biscuit raced over to the corner of the fence to bark at something. Roxy took this time to get as much fetch in as she could! She would quickly get it and slingshot it back to me for another throw before Biscuit would notice. It was pretty funny! For Bert's turn outside, she wandered over to me for some snuggle time. Then, she wandered off with Dilly and Biscuit to do some exploring. Bert ran over with her purple spider for a little tug and fetch too.
