Jerrie & Kimmie

Today it was cloudy outside when I came to visit the kitties. After I watered the plants, I headed inside to see them. They were both relaxing on their own shelf of the tower. They waited there, while I went and refreshed their food, water and boxes. Jerrie tilted his head backwards when I walked in, ready for his brushing session. He laid there awhile, stretching out his legs so I got all of his itchy spots. That wasn't quite enough, so he turned himself around and crawled closer to the brush and I. He enjoyed having his little chin scratched. I pet him and rubbed his whole head for awhile and he really liked that! Kimmie got a tiny bit of brushing, but she wasn't in the mood today.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

The pups all ran into the laundry room and started sniffing at me as soon as I got in. Sadie remembered me right away, and the others did too. They all trotted along with me to the back door and outside. Sadie did much better today and only jumped up a couple times. She never left my side! She sat and got pet, then gave me lots and lots if kisses in return. Zoie came out with her toy and brought it over by me. But then, she decided she didn't want to give it up, so she went and laid on the patio with it. I went and refilled all their water bowls, and little Cole followed along with me. After everyone had been outside awhile, we went in to cool down. Sadie sat right with me and enjoyed all her attention! This evening the pups all heard me pull up and were already in the laundry room waiting for me. We headed outside right away so they could go potty. They did well since I was last there and didn't have any accidents. I made sure Zoie left her toy inside so she would go for me. We went back in and I got everyone their dinner. Sadie didn't want to go eat, she wanted attention instead. She and I sat in the living room while the other two ate. I let them out for one last potty break before bed. Cole got his meds and went right in for me. Sadie, on the other hand... she kept rolling over and wouldn't go anywhere near her kennel. Little goober! I finally had to bribe her with a teeny piece of cheese. She went right in that time!

Cate, Carson, Little Foot, Toby & Bella

This morning was a cloudy one, so the temperatures stayed a little cooler. When I arrived, Cate, Carson and Toby went out for awhile. Bella followed me around while I watered some of the plants. I headed inside to give Little Foot his turn out in the yard. Then, I watered the rest of the plants and gave Toby his medication. This evening was super humid out, so it was short potty breaks again. I let the first three out after I changed their water. Shortly after, Cate and Toby were ready to come in. I fed them, while Little Foot went out for a short break. After dinner, the three pups went back out quick. They came in and I let them wander around the dog room a bit, while I vacuumed again. Cate seemed to think it was a toy, so she had to go back in her bed after a bit. Bella met me at the door as I was leaving, and I thought she was even going to hop in the car with me! Luckily, she decided not to and went to lay down.

Griffin & Macy

Macy was sleeping soundly when I arrived this morning. She looked so cute all curled up on her bed! I let Griff out, then she woke up and joined him. The pups went and checked out the fence when they heard the neighbor dog outside. They did some roaming around, and took breaks to come by me to be pet. Griffin wanted to go in later, to get a drink. Macy had some too, and nibbled on her food a bit while we were inside. After they were done, we went out back again for the rest of the time. This afternoon the pups and I headed outside. Macy was busy rolling around and sniffing at the grass. Griff brought over his orange ball, so we played some fetch for awhile. He'd take a little break after each throw and would lay in the grass. Then, when he was ready, he'd bring it back for another toss. It was pretty muggy out already, so we spent some time inside too. This evening both pups were up and ready to head out. I brought Griff's football out with us, so we got another game of fetch in. While we were outside, some loud equipment drove by making a huge racket. Griffin was scared and came by me to protect him! When it had passed, we got back to our game. Later, we came in and they ate dinner and got a drink before bed.
