Katie & Sage

This evening when I came in, all was quiet in the yard. Sage heard me and got up right away, bouncing up and down in her bed. Katie must have been snoozing pretty good. Sage came out first and was running laps around the yard. She found me her Kong and we played fetch for a little bit. Sage was so full of energy! She would bounce and run, then come back and roll around, just having a blast! She ran around and said hi to the neighbor dogs while I cleaned her area. She raced into her bed when it was time to eat. Katie was up midway through our game of fetch and was watching. She came out for her turn and ran to the fence to say hi to the neighbor dogs as well. She wandered about the yard, while I cleaned her area. Katie was a good girl while I cleaned up her eye and got that feeling better. She's such a sweetheart. Eventually, it was time for her to eat her dinner as well.

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today I saw Rusty hop down from the couch, while I let Ruby out. She zoomed to the back door, so I let them out. She had a booboo, so I cleaned that up. Lance was doing his silly swinging his arms thing, telling me he was ready. Since the pups had beat me to it and were already back inside, we just stayed in and I played with Lance a bit. Ruby was dancing around in the kitchen a little. I think she thought it was time for dinner. Lance had fun chasing his toy, as usual. I got it close to my leg once, so he sat and gave my leg a hug, as he was trying to get the toy behind it. So sneaky! Haha. Later, I took Rusty out and he got his time in. Ruby didn't want to join us, since it was a bit chilly out. Rusty had fun chasing after his ball awhile. He took a break half way through to stretch out on the grass.

Tux, Molly & Panda

This morning the kiddos could hardly contain themselves, since it took me so long to get inside. They knew I was there the whole time! Panda was jumping up and grabbing onto my sweatshirt, "C'mon lady, hurry up! We gotta get out there to play!" She cracks me up. We got outside and I got a couple toys down for the pooches to play with. Bubba and I were playing fetch with his ball. He was so excited, the poor guy wiped out trying to get it! I felt bad for him. But he got up and kept playing as usual. The girls were busy chasing each other around. Molly would swing in now and again, to steal Bubba ' s ball. When we went in, I got everything turned on, fed them their breakfast, and got them each an extra half of a cookie. Shhh... don't tell mom and dad! :) They had been so good, so I gave them a tiny little reward. This afternoon I walked in and all three were barking at the back door, waiting for me to open it. Haha! I said hi to them, then Molly swung around and came running. I noticed someone had gotten a hold of a tissue box and tore it to shreds. I let the kiddos out and got them their toys to play, while I picked up quick. When I got back out, they were all still busy. Molly and Panda were chasing around like they do. Poor Bubba couldn't hang onto a toy long enough for us to play. They kept stealing them from him! So, he joined in the chase, as they roamed around the yard.
