Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let Eddie out and he was busy mouthing my hand, as if to grab on and lead me to Butler's bed. Haha. I let Butler out next. The boys were dancing around me and saying hi for a bit, then they headed outside. I went out with them for awhile and they lounged on the patio to soak up some sun. When they came in, I grabbed Butler's medicine. He then proceeded to go hide. Poor buddy. Later, the boys relaxed inside to cool off. Butler made me laugh when I spotted him sprawled out on the table inside!

Kaya, Kylie, Reese, Madison & Max

This morning everyone was prancing around excitedly when I let them out. I opened the door and all but Max ran outside to do their business. I helped Max along, as usual, and he joined the others. Back inside, we got ready for breakfast. The big girls had finished their food from last night, but didn't want to eat again while I was there. I put their food up and gave Max and Reese some time to chow down. Later, we went back outside. It was pretty nice out this morning, since we had some storms roll through overnight. All the pups spent some time exploring. Kylie kept sniffing at the air! Haha. I guess she could smell the rain coming. About half way through our visit, it started to sprinkle a bit. We still hung around outside. Max kept coming up and pawing on my legs for some pets. The big girls saw I was giving those out, so they came running over for some too. Just as we were heading inside, it started to rain pretty good. The rain held out just long enough. Couldn't ask for more perfect timing! This evening Kylie was howling at me from her kennel and the little ones were bouncing up and down when I walked in. We all went out so they could take a quick potty break before dinner. Max and Reese got to work on their food on the bed. Kaya and Kylie helped me get Madison 's dinner next. Kylie was so busy roo-roo-ing at me, that she wasn't paying attention and clonked her head on the wall. Oopsie! Haha. Max and Reese are eating better every time I see them. The big girls, well, they'd rather have attention or be outside. They do well when I leave it in their room for them though! We headed out after dinner. Max sure likes hanging out by me. I think he misses his momma! The pups heard something out towards the front of the yard tonight, so they all went running to check it out. After awhile everyone surrounded me at the same time for some attention. Kylie has no problem barging her way in through the others! Haha. Jealous lady. She was busy sniffing at the air again tonight. Wonder what she smells this time? When it was time to head in, Kylie and the little ones ran inside. Kaya was still lounging around on the patio. Haha. She came in when I went back to get her.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy heard me come in and she went to the door, like she had been the past couple mornings. She sat out on the patio and meowed, looking in at me. Since I was getting their breakfast ready, I didn't go open the door right away. So, Stormy sat there and meowed until she figured she'd come in the other way. Haha. Sadi was sitting in the room by the dishes. I got her her meds quick and cleaned her nose up. I set her down to eat while I took care of their other things. Sadi was done by the time I was, so I went to set her in her bed. Stormy was following me around, expecting some playtime, but not this morning. Sorry kitty! This evening Stormy was curled up on her dining room chair. She gave me a meow as I walked past. Sadi was curled up on the floor of the food room this evening. She got her medicine, then I put her in her bed. Her nose looked great tonight.

Sadie, Chloe & Patches

This morning I came in and Sadie met me at the back door. She ran outside to go potty and run around for a bit. The kitties were in the same spots again. Patches was sitting on the seat part of the recliner, and Chloe was hovering by the dining table. I got Patches some food and served it to her in the chair. Chloe was waiting for me to stop watching. Haha. Sadie came in and had breakfast, then we went outside a little longer. Sadie was busy exploring the yard this morning. We had some storms and strong winds come through last night. I noticed the flag pole in the front yard was almost to the ground. Not sure if it was like that before last night or not. This evening Sadie was ready to go out. Once she was out though, she wanted back in! Silly girl. I let her in to eat, while I scooped the litter box. Patches was heading down the hall as I was coming out. After Sadie was done, we went outside again. She did her thing, then she spent most of her time by me. She sat on the chair next to me and was giving me all kinds of kisses! When she got inside for the night, she was all excited for her treat!

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I let Ruby out and went to the front room to get Rusty. He just looked up at me, with his head resting on the arm of the recliner. I saw his ball sitting behind him, so I grabbed that and he quickly got up. We headed outside for awhile. Ruby waited a few minutes, then she finally did her business. Rusty was already busy rolling around in the grass. He actually wanted to play fetch today! We played for awhile before he got too warm. Then, we all went in and they cooled off.

Winston

Today Winston walked up to the gate to see who was home, then he waited in his bed for me to open it. I got his leash on and we headed outside. Since he had his bout this morning, I wanted to definitely make sure he went both for me today. We walked around, but it appeared he didn't have to do that at the moment. I figured his mouth might be a bit sore still, so we took a longer walk today to make up for his lost play time. When we got back to the house, he raced off to find a toy as usual. He came back with orange monster dude. I told Winston we couldn't play tug today, to give his mouth a rest, and I think he agreed. We played some fetch with his toy instead. The rest of the time, he got his back scratches and he rolled around and was acting silly.
