Bella, Louie & Chico

This afternoon I let each of the pups out to go potty. Chico sat in his bed for a moment and I realized why. He was wearing his blanket like a poncho! There was a hole big enough for him to get his head through. I couldn't resist getting a pic! He got out on his own and raced for the backyard. It was gorgeous out this afternoon. Bella was racing along the fence, checking things out. Chico would chase after her, in between chillin' in my lap. They both took breaks to lounge in the grass and soak up some sun. Chico did an army crawl towards Bella, then she playfully pawed at him, which got them started chasing again! Louie was busy wandering around from one end of the yard to the other, exploring. When it was time, they all lined up in their beds for their peanut butter snacks. This evening Chico was wearing his blankie again, so I went ahead and changed it out. They actually all did very well about focusing on eating their dinners for me tonight. They must be getting used to me. Old news... haha! Bella would race off into the darkness to investigate sounds she'd hear, then return for another bite to eat. The boys messed around in the house awhile.

Sadi & Stormy

Today I got the food ready for the girls, since no one came to say hi. I put the food in their room, then started looking for them. Stormy was just chillin on her chair by the window the whole time. I gave her a quick pet, then went to the patio. Sadi was up already, making her way towards me. We took care of her meds. Next, I picked up Stormy, since she still hadn't moved from her chair. I started brushing Sadi, then Stormy wandered over. She was a spunky, sassy girl today! She laid down next to me and was fascinated by some smell on my shorts. She started mouthing them, so I moved. Stormy freaked out and started rolling around, acting all crazy! You woulda thought I had some catnip in my pocket. Haha! I got a mouse for her to play with. She played with that... then with Sadi's tail! What a silly cat she was today. Sadi didn't care though, since she was busy getting her chin scratched. Before I left, I put Sadi back in their room for her to eat.

Noah, Henry & Harper

This afternoon I came in and Henry and Harper came racing to say hi. I fed everyone their lunch quick. Henry was last to start his, as usual, so I sent the other two outside. Friday was already meowing at me. Once Henry finished, we joined the boys outside. It was gorgeous out! Noah and Harper both were trying to get my attention. Henry was off exploring, and staring up into the tree at something. Friday sat at the door and watched us. When it was time, we headed in. I put Friday upstairs, then gave each of the pups a treat.

Rusty, Ruby & Salem

Rusty came outside and barked this morning, when he heard me pull up. He came inside with me to let Ruby out. I went out again with them to make sure they went potty before breakfast. They both quickly finished their food. Salem was sitting out on the bed, watching me. I gave her a few chin scratches before taking care of the turtles. Rusty was following me around with his ball, ready to play. It was wet and foggy out this morning. The other four were out having fun running around in the fog. This afternoon was nice and sunny out. I saw Salem sitting in the window by the turtles when I went to let the pups out. Rusty finally got his game of fetch in! We played for a long time. Ruby was in and out, stopping by for a back scratch now and again. We went in so I could fill up their water dishes, then went back out to play a little longer.

Carson & Sammy

This morning I saw Bella sitting under the car as I pulled up. As soon as I got out, she meowed and ran to me to say hi. She followed me to the door, and thought she was going to get to come in. The pups both woke up when they heard me. I let Carson out first. Sammy didn't want to go, so I had to pick her up and put her out there with him. While they were busy going potty, I went to check on Bella's food. She was waiting right at that door for me, and made an attempt to sneak in. Sorry kitty! I gave her some more food, which she decided to nibble on. Carson and Sammy came inside after awhile, and I let them roam around the dog room for a bit. As I was petting Sammy, Carson wandered up to me and pawed at my leg. "Pet me too!" That made me laugh. They both enjoyed some back scratches. Carson followed Sammy around again, and even checked out her kennel a couple times. They both got a couple treats when it was time to go, for being such good pups!

Carson & Sammy

This afternoon when I came to visit, it was hust downpouring outside. I opened the door to let them out, and they just gave me that look... no way! I tried for awhile, but neither wanted to venture out for me. So, we just hung out in the dog room awhile. They got to stretch their legs for a bit anyways. Sammy did a cute little happy dance around me for some attention. Carson just followed her everywhere. This evening the rain had finally stopped. I got Bella some fresh food and water, since her food was soggy and floating. Sammy and Carson took a little convincing to go out for me, but this time they did. I got them some fresh water and gave them a little time to do their business. They came inside to eat their dinners. Then, they went and played outside for a little while again.

Rusty, Ruby & Salem

This morning Rusty saw me, then grabbed his toy and followed me around. He was doing his happy wiggly heiny dance! I let miss Ruby out and they both got their breakfast. Rusty got his medicine as well. While they wandered out to go potty, I scooped Salem's box, then fed her and the turtles. The pups came back in to see what I was up to. I turned around and saw Salem sitting on the bed, watching me. I let her sniff at my hand. Then, she let me pet her! She rubbed her chin on my hand and started purring away. Later, I went outside and played some fetch with Rusty. Ruby came out with us and snuggled up next to me for a bit while we played. This afternoon Rusty met me at the door, already carrying his ball. Unfortunately for him, we weren't going to get our game in this time. It was pouring rain outside. I let Ruby out and sent them out to go potty quick. They both went right for their doggie door to come back in. So, we hung out in the living room for awhile. Before I left, I went outside with them so they would go potty for me. Both did their business before we went back inside. This evening Ruby had done well in the living room again. I let them both outside to go potty, while I fed the others. They had to wait for me to dump all the water out of each of their bowls, so they got a little antsy. Haha! Back inside, miss Ruby ate her dinner. Rusty was still outside, waiting for me to come play. The rain had stopped, but the yard was so muddy. I didn't want him to get all covered and track it in the house, so we held off for tonight. He sure made me feel bad about it! He just stared and cried at me. :( I got him to come inside and work on his dinner, so he forgot about it for a little while anyways. I gave him both his medications tonight. While I was in the kitchen, Salem came in to say hi! She came around the island and meowed at me, so I stopped to pet her a bit.

Rusty, Ruby & Salem

This afternoon I headed inside and went to see Rusty. He let out one bark, then I sat by him and he remembered me. I let Ruby out next, then went to the back door to let them out. Rusty took off in the opposite direction instead. Then, shortly after, he came racing around the corner. He just had to go get his favorite ball! We went out and Rusty initiated our game of fetch right away. Ruby hung out with us for a little while, then she went in and stayed in the living room. Rusty and I played a long game. He's so good at bouncing up to catch his ball! He took a few breaks to roll in the grass or take a dip in his pool. I let them both stay in the living room before I left. This evening the pups came to greet me when they heard me come in. I got Ruby her dinner first. Rusty was only interested in playing! I went out and fed the other 4 in their pen. They all came running to eat right away. Rusty and I played fetch for quite awhile. Later, we headed inside and I filled all their water dishes. When it was time, I got Ruby in her bed, then gave Rusty his medicine and dinner.

Sadi & Stormy

Today Stormy was lounging under the dining table. I mixed up some new food for them, then went to give her a hello pet, since she hadn't come to see me yet. She started heading for the bedroom, but I interrupted her to give her meds. I changed out their litter liner today, and she went right in to potty. I went to find Sadi when I was finished. I found her soaking up some sun on the patio. She was warm from the sun on one side, then cool from the concrete on the other. She was a bit stuffy today, but I got her all cleaned up. She got her meds, then she ate a little for me. When she finished, we went to our spot to brush her. Stormy came trotting over for a little attention too.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I didn't see either kitty, so I went ahead and got their food ready. I put that in their room and refilled their dry food and water dishes. I went to the patio to check first, and still didn't see anyone. When I got back in, I saw Stormy was lounging on her chair by the window, loving up some sunshine. I guess she was too comfy to get up! She stretched a paw out towards me, and gave a big yawn. I scratched her head, then she hopped down. She got her meds quick, then wandered to get a bite to eat. I checked under the bed and saw Sadi was awake and looking right at me! She was right in the middle of the top end under the bed. It was pretty hard for me to get ahold of her, and she wasn't getting up and coming to me. Stormy came and sat on the bed to watch me. Finally, I got her out and she got her medicine. She sounded pretty good today. She came out and got her brush time in. I pet her for a good while too, giving her head and chin some scratches. Stormy sat with us for a few minutes and enjoyed some attention as well. Then, she laid nearby and groomed her belly. She made me laugh. She stopped and looked at me, and was sitting propped up on her side, leaning on one leg with the other leg over her belly. She went back to sunbathing on her chair after awhile.

Susie, Katie & Blackie

This morning I got the ladies ready, and we went for a long walk. It was another gorgeous morning for us. When we got home, Blackie had already finished his food, and had wandered outside. The girls worked on their food, while I took care of the kitties. I changed out their litter boxes this morning. The male siamese kitty thought it was fun to keep trying to climb into the dirty litter bag! Haha! When it was time, I went out and brought the exploring little Blackie inside. This evening I took the girls for their walk right away. Some people were walking along, a ways behind us. For some reason, Susie kept looking back at them and whined. Maybe she thought it was mom and dad? When we got home, I sat with Blackie so he could eat. I gave the girls their snack, then took care of the kitty cats.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning, it was actually miss Sadi that came to say hi! Stormy was snoozing away on her chair in the dining room. After giving Sadi a few pets, I got their food ready. Stormy got up for that! She followed me to their dinner room to go eat. Unfortunately for her, I scooped her up to give her her meds quick, then returned her to her breakfast. Sadi got brought in for her meds next. Afterwards, she was ready to be pampered! She got brushed and pet for awhile. Stormy had no interest today and went to sit in some sunshine to groom, before returning to her chair. Sadi enjoyed getting brushed and having her itchy chin scratched.

Susie, Katie & Blackie

This morning the kitties were happy to get some attention. I headed in to see the pups, who had already heard me come in. Blackie was curled up on the couch, and decided to head for the backyard right away. The girls and I went for a walk. We have been lucky to have such nice weather this whole time! A big garbage truck was headed our way, so I had the girls stop and sit in the grass, like we usually do for cars passing by. It made its loud "pshhh" sound as it passed us, which scared the girls pretty good. They settled down, then we continued. Later, it came by us again, but they didn't get scared this time. We got back and the girls worked on their breakfast, while I went to get Blackie. This evening the girls and I saw several other doggies out for walks as well. When we got home, I saw Blackie had cleaned his dinner plate. We all had some fun outside tonight. The girls did some exploring. Every time I knelt down to try and coax Blackie in, the girls came barreling towards me for some love! The kitties were picking on me tonight. My little tabby was playing with my ponytail while I scooped their boxes. Then, the little girl hopped on my back! She did that three more times. Then, another was curling around my ankles, play nipping at me. Haha! I noticed today was the first day they had taken the curtains down too. I couldn't reach to put them back up, so I put them in the garage instead. Silly kitties!

Noah, Henry & Harper

This afternoon the boys saw me walking up and got all excited. We all headed to the kitchen for them to eat their lunchea quick. Henry was more concerned with getting my attention. I let Noah and Harper out as soon as they were done, so Henry could work on his. It was so nice out today! They all did some exploring around the yard. Suddenly, all the dogs in the nearby area were going crazy! I walked around the corner and saw all three pups were racing along the fence. There was a chocolate lab running along the other side with him. It looked like his owner was trying to catch him. So, I got the boys inside for a few minutes. I got them each a treat while we waited. Later, we went out to play a little longer. When it was time, we headed in and I got Friday back upstairs.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came down from her chair in the dining room to come say hi. I gave her her medicine quick. Her lip does look quite a bit better. She came and got some food, while I went to look for Sadi. I checked in her two spots under the bed, but didn't see her. I checked the patio next, and still no Sadi. So this time, I went right for the opposite side of the bed. Yep! She was laying under the top end, snoozing away. I got her nose all cleaned up and gave her her medications. She wandered out to the living room, ready for her brushing. Stormy sat nearby and gave herself a bath. Then, she hopped back up on her chair under the table to take a nap. Sadi loved her brushing and attention time. I set her back in by the food again before I left.

Susie, Katie & Blackie

This morning the kitties surrounded me for their morning pets. I headed inside and got Blackie's breakfast ready, then leashed up the girls. I was suprised to not see Blackie snoozing on the couch, where I usually find him. As we headed to the front door, I saw him snuggled on a little bed in the bedroom. He saw me and started making his way to the living room. The girls and I took a long walk this morning. When we got back, I sat with Blackie and all three pups worked on their breakfast. As I was leaving today, the neighbor's black lab came running over to say hi to me! This evening the girls and I went for our walk again. When we got home, Blackie was already outside. So, I went to see and take care of the kitties. Almost every single one was huddled up next to the door waiting for me! Haha! Several decided it was potty time when I went to clean their boxes. They crack me up. I went out to go fetch Blackie when it was time to go. He was all the way at the back of the yard!

Susie, Katie & Blackie

This morning it was another cool one outside. It feels like fall has arrived! I sat in by the kitties to visit with them a bit when I arrived. They were quite snuggly, trying to fight for my lap and giving me kisses. I met the girls in the kitchen. They were ready to go! I got them hooked up, then we went for a nice long walk. When we got back, I saw Blackie hadn't eaten yet. So, I brought his food by me and sat with him. He finished off his plate. The girls were snuggly too! They sat on either side of me for some attention. And of course, for the opportunity to nibble on his food if they got the chance! I sat on the floor by the couch, so Susie kept hopping up there and was giving my face kisses. As I was leaving, I saw a skinny cat-like tail heading under the shed. I tried to call "here kitty", but none came. This evening it was still so nice out! I stopped by the kitties for a minute. My little tabby friend was waiting on top of his stand for me to come clean boxes. Haha! The girls met me in the kitchen again, ready to go. Susie was just crying with excitement! We took another nice walk tonight. We saw a german shepherd out walking his people too. I sat with Blackie again this evening so he could eat his dinner. He wandered outside, while I went to change kitty litter boxes. They all want to help me, but they're more in the way than anything! I had to keep picking kitties up out of what I was working on. Haha! Blackie was still outside when I finished, so I went to coax him in for the night. I'm not sure, but I feel like he's a being a little weary of the girls. When I was trying to get him inside, he kept stopping when he'd see one of them standing behind me. Once I got them inside, then he'd come to me again. Not sure, just something I've been noticing the past couple days.

Bella, Louie & Chico

It was another cool morning for the pups to play. All three zoomed out the door to do their business. I got their breakfast ready, then joined them outside. Chico hopped up in my lap and snuggled with me a bit. Bella was having a blast running around. She and Chico kept hearing the birds squaking in the trees, then they would take off, thinking they could catch them! Louie was being a spunky boy again this morning, running and bouncing around. He decided to eat from everyone's bowl but his own this morning. They were busy playing anyways. Then, he dumped Chico's bowl over. I went to clean that up, and Bella and Chico came and helped by eating some kibbles off the floor. Silly pups!

Taz & Clyde

The boys met me at the front door this morning, sticking their noses out at me as I opened it. I got them ready for our walk, and this time both boys were whining with excitement! We took a nice long walk around the neighborhood and down to the pond. It was another cool morning. We saw several other dogs out walking their humans this morning as well. Clyde got all excited when he saw them. Once we got back home, the boys were checking the bushes for that kitty. But, it wasn't there. I dried them off, then let them play out back for a few minutes.

Bradford, ZZ, Heighty & the gang

This morning Moody was all curled up on a chair. He meowed at me quite a bit when I walked in! I stopped to give him some love before I went out to see the pooches. Freckles (I don't know her name so that's what I've been calling her haha) went around after I filled the bowls with food, and nosed through each one. What a goof! She finally settled on one bowl and started to eat. Sugar came bouncing over to say hi. Bradford and ZZ wandered over ti be pet before they went to nibble on their breakfast. Heighty found her ball and got me to play some fetch with her. Freckles went to chase around with her a couple times too. Moody was waiting on the back of the couch for me to return. I made sure he had enough food and he hopped up there to eat. Then, he followed me out. He wanted to be pet more than he was hungry.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning was very nice and cool outside. I let everyone out, then got them their breakfast. The cool weather must have been making them spunky today! Chico came in by me and was hopping around with his front end down ans heiny up in the air. He was trying to get me to play, so I stopped and we messed around. He took off outside, then Louie came bouncing in. He was zooming around the house, rolling up the rugs as he went! Bella was outside running laps. Then, she was prancing around with her nose up in the air, catching the scent of something. She saw some birds up in the tree as well. When I sat out there with them, Chico decided to hop up on the table next to me! I hadn't seen him do that before. Silly pup! This afternoon was just amazing out. All three spent as much time as they could out in the yard. Bella and Chico laid in the grass and let the warm sun shine on them for awhile. Bella and Louie also did some exploring. The pups all got their snacks before I left this afternoon. This evening was still cool outside. Bella was having a blast chasing after a grasshopper that was bouncing around on the patio! That was pretty funny. Bella and Louie were zooming around a bit in the dark, chasing after each other. When it was time, we headed inside for bed.
