Chelsea

Chelsea came in from outside when I called for her today. She wagged her little heiny happily! She went into the kitchen and looked up at her leash. So, we went for a nice long walk today! She was so excited and I think she would've walked longer. When we got back home, I got her supper ready. She sat for me like a good girl! When she was finished she came over and snuggled with me a little bit. I got down her treats and turned on her music before it was time to go. She sat, then shook my hand for one!

Heathcliff, Atticus, Ava & Chance

Today Atticus came running down the hallway when I came in! Heathcliff was making his way to the kitchen, ready for his breakfast. They had finished off all their food from the other day, so they were hungry! They all ran ahead of me to their stations! Everyone was busy working on their canned food while I cleaned litter boxes and filled their waters. Ava and Chance were waiting by the door to say hi. Ava was talking to me while she came over for some attention. Chance was just full of the dickens this morning! He ran over to the wall and stood up to grab at it, then ran off to the other end of the room. After visiting with Heathcliff and Atticus for awhile, I went in by the other two and we played with the little yellow lion toy. Chance sure had a blast with that! He was jumping and rolling around all over the place with it!
I see that little lion moving around down there...

Daisy & Indigo

This morning I was a little nervous seeing an extra car in the driveway! I guess your sister came to visit, so the pups had some company. Daisy was playing outside when I came in and Indigo was hanging out in the living room. She came outside with me and they had me throwing their ball for them while I scooped up the yard! Daisy still has some soft stool today that I picked up. After playing outside for awhile, we decided to go for a nice long walk this morning. Daisy was pretty pooped when we got home! But she still had some energy to go play outside instead of eating her breakfast. Indigo had finished hers and was ready to start in on Daisy's. Finally Daisy came in and ate for me. I gave Indigo a couple treats to keep her occupied. When they both had finished, I gave them one of the yummy rawhides on the counter. Daisy pranced around with it in her mouth, like a little cigar!

Willie, Tilly, Natilie, Potsy, Maddie, Izzy, Spencer & El Nino

Today as I walked up, I could see Maddie, Izzy and Spencer all curled up and sleeping like little angels! Spencer sat right up when I grabbed the door handle. I let everyone outside for the morning. It looks like Potsy got a robin for breakfast! Ewww.... Spencer and Maddie came over by me for some back scratchings. Maddie liked it so much, she did her little hoppity dance for me! Spencer sat on his hind legs and asked for more while he was swinging his front paws up and down. Little El Nino was busy giving Potsy a hard time! He chased her under the deck and was barking at her almost the whole time. He took a break to chase back and forth along the fence with the Corgis.
Can I go inside now?
I have a leaf stuck in my beard!

Ursa

A sleepy little Ursa greeted me at her gate when I arrived in the afternoon. We went for a short walk and came back for a fresh bowl of water and a greenie! Ursa then picked up her toys and we played tug-o-war. At one point, as you can see in the picture, she tried to fit both the kitty and the green toy in her month at the same time! It was funny to see how she couldn't decide which toy to play with. Our time was ending, so I gave her some extra back and belly scratches! I thanked Ursa for being such a good doggy and gave her a giant hug!

Ursa

Ursa was sure ready for her morning walk! We stolled along the neighborhood, enjoying the early morning dew and cool breeze. A flock of geese flew overhead and got the attention of the excited Ursa. A few of the neighbor dogs greated us during our walk; Ursa just looked at them and kept on walking! She was happy to arrive home for her morning breakfast and a bowl of fresh water. I gave her a few tummy scratches and it was time to go!
