Luke & Maycie

Tonight I said hi to Luke and Maycie as I was coming through the door. Maycie started to bark and Luke made one little deep sound. But, as soon as I had passed the corner, Luke had his ball in his mouth ready to play! They both were wagging their tails and ready to go outside. Maycie said hi to me for awhile. Luke and I got right to our game of fetch. I grabbed his red ball off the table out back and threw that for him. He was trying to fit both that and the tennis ball in his mouth! He figured out if he grabbed the tennis ball first, he could hang onto them both. Maycie chased with him several times, and eventually got the tennis ball for herself. I would throw the red ball for Luke and she would toss the tennis ball for herself and go running with him! Silly girl! As it was getting darker, it started to take Luke longer and longer to find it. The last time he just gave up and laid in the grass. He was pretty tired out! We went back inside and I got them some fresh water to cool down.

You can throw that one, or that one, or both at the same time! I'm ready!!!

Bear, Coco & Mia

This morning Mia was watching out the window again. She rolled over as soon as I came in and pawed at me. I pet her for a little bit, then let her outside. She walked around to the other patio and laid out there while I got the Bear and Coco's food ready. After Coco finished eating what she felt like, I went in and spent some time with Bear. Mia and I went for a nice long walk this morning around the neighborhood. It's so funny to watch her dance around when I grab the leash! We avoided the sprinklers that were on in some people's yards. When we got home she curled up in the kitchen, then I rubbed her tummy while she laid by the couch. If I stopped, she would half sit up and paw at me until I started again. Such a cutie! This afternoon I let Mia hang out in the backyard while I spent some time with Coco and Bear. Coco was sleeping in her new spot in the closet. I woke her up to have some lunch and she ate about half of the food right away. Bear talked to me and loved up every second while I brushed and pet her! Coco was following me around the house and meowing at me. Mia was ready to come back inside after a little while since it was pretty hot out.  Tonight Mia was already standing at the door waiting for me, tail a-wagging! She started to dance around excitedly when I got inside and began to pet her. I was trying to head to the back door to let her out potty, but she was too happy getting pet that she wouldn't let me walk! I let her out back and spent some time with Bear and Coco. Bear perked up as soon as I walked in and started walking toward me. Coco came out too and had some supper before curling back up in her closet. Bear snuggled up with me while I pet and brushed her, and in return she gave me kisses. After a little bit I took Mia out for a nice long walk again. She was so happy! After I got her leash hooked up she raced to the door. She was pretty tired when we got home, and laid down on the floor while I gave her a good tummy rub. Mia eventually got up and walked into the other sitting room, so I followed her to see what she was up to. I guess she was ready for bed! She had curled up on one of the couches.

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

Toby barked as soon as he heard me shut my car door. He wasn't right there when I opened the door though. He was all crouched down on the couch, wiggling his little heiny! He came to say hi and then we went outside to play for a bit. When we came in he ran into the bedroom and curled up on the bed. Tyson was sleeping on the little pet bed in the corner. Morgan followed me in there and I pet him while I was talking to Toby. He hopped down and took over for Morgan! Toby and I played tug of war with a rope toy, then chased each other around the living room. Once he was tired, we sat on the couch and he got his tummy rubbed! Tonight when I got there Toby was excited to see me. Morgan came up to me right away while I was sitting on the ground to get some loving, then I sat on the couch to give some attention to Toby. We sat for a little bit before going for a long walk. It was a little cooler out, the sun had gone down, but still a little humid. When we got back he was pretty energetic yet and I chased him around the living room and he ran as fast as he could around the couches. So funny! He got tired out and spent a few minutes with me on the couch before I left for the night.

Mimi

This morning Mimi was sitting in her window, visiting with the neighbors who were outside talking. She was already at the door as I opened it. Mimi was very lovey today! She rubbed against me and I pet her as she walked back and forth. She hopped into the sink again while I scooped out her canned food. She had gotten out a purple feathery ball from her bowl since the last time I saw her. As I made my way into the living room, she quickly zoomed under the table and was ready to play! After awhile she decided to sit and watch the birds flying around outside. This evening Mimi wasn't sitting in her usual spot when I came to see her. I found her sleeping on mom's bed! After I said hi, she followed me out into the kitchen. She was happy to see me again and loved up all of her attention. She laid on her brown blanket in the living room, crouched down with her heiny in the air, ready to pounce! We played for a little while, then she sat and watched the birds outside again.
You can't see me, I blend in perfectly with this blanket!
