Frankie

This evening I came in and turned on the light to see Frankie making her way over to say hi. She sat down by the door and waited for me to get her leash on her. Then, we went out for a stroll! It was nice out, so we went for a long walk around the property. We saw a few other dogs coming out to do their business as well. One little dog in the distance sure got Frankie excited! Later we headed back upstairs and got her a treat. Then, we spent the last few minutes sitting out on the patio, enjoying the nice evening air.

Scout, Ginger, Tiger & Scotch

The pups were all peeking out the window when I pulled up tonight. Tiger was first to meet me at the gate. They all raced behind me as we headed to the back door. It was so nice out! We spent the whole time relaxing outside. Scout wandered over to the fence to say hi to the cute neighbor puppies. Tiger lounged around on the patio in the shade after doing some exploring. Miss Ginger would wander over and do a big stretch up against my legs. Later we headed inside and got the girls their meds. Then, I stopped to see Scotch. Before I left, I gave the pups all a bone to chew on.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This morning I let the babies outside when I arrived. Sugar seemed to have perked up a bit more. They ran around and played for a little bit before we went in for their meds. Sugar was a good girl and took her insulin, then got a treat. Afterwards, Sugar and Buddy ate a little kibble while Jimmy played some fetch. This evening we played outside again for awhile when I first got there. Miss Sugar was just hopping around and being silly! She was definitely in a good mood tonight. We headed in to give her her shot and the boys their meds. They worked on dinner a little bit before we went back outside again.

Zeus, Zena, Baby & Chico

Today I noticed a new pup in the kitchen! I wasn't sure if they could all go out together, so I let Zeus and Zena out by Baby first. Then, I let the new pup outside. It didn't matter, because he could just waltz back and forth through the fence since he was so tiny! I figured out his name was Chico by his collar. Chico was a little shy at first, but soon he kept coming over for some pets. Zeus and Baby were exploring in their side of the yard. Eventually they got warm and laid under the table in the shade together. Miss Zena squeezed her way out from under the fence and came running over, hopping in my lap. Later she sat down by Chico and gave him lots of kisses. So cute! When it was time I let them all inside and came back out to make sure Baby had enough to drink. When I walked back in, I had myself a good laugh! Zeus had squished himself into Chico's cage! Chico was all curled up on the blanket in the kitchen. I went to put Zena in her bed first, then Chico hopped into Zeus's bed! Those boys were so silly. Finally I got them out and into the correct beds.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda did her big stretch against the wall again when I came in. We headed outside right away. It was so nice out! Miranda went and sprawled out in the grass. She laid there for quite awhile, enjoying the warm sunshine. Later, we heard a horse neigh in the distance. I'm guessing it was going by in a trailer. That made Miranda's ears perk up, and she kept letting out little huffs and puffs under her breath! It was quite funny. Miranda was loving the weather so much today that it took her awhile before she got up and went potty. Finally she did, and we made our way back inside.

Biscuit, Dilly, Jezebel & Roxy

This afternoon the kiddos were all excited to get outside. Dilly, Biscuit and Roxy all did a little exploring when they first got out there. Roxy soon found a different rope to bring me to throw for her today. It wasn't long before Biscuit stole it from her! Eventually he would lose interest and walk away long enough for her to snag it and run it back to me. Then he'd join in the chase again! Dilly came and snuggled up in my lap a lot this afternoon. She just sat there and watched the other two play, or sniffed at the air. Bert came outside next and she did her business. After a little sniffing around and checking things out, Bert came and sat by me. She enjoyed a back rub the rest of the time, gently pawing at me to continue.
