Sadie, Zoie & Cole

Today I let all the pups outside when I arrived. It was a beautiful afternoon! Sadie went and rolled around in the grass for awhile. Zoie said hi to the neighbor dog, then sat in the corner of the yard, investigating something. My buddy, Cole, came back to sit with me after he did his business. He barely left my side. Cole kept pawing at me to scratch his back for him! Sadie would wander over, now and again. She would sit and just give me kisses on my chin. If she saw me petting Cole, she thought she'd get my attention by trying to climb in my lap! Haha! We spent our whole time outside, just enjoying the day. When it was time to go in, Cole headed right for bed. He's such a good boy. The girls took a little convincing, but they did pretty good today too!

Tilly, Rita, Daisy Mae & kitties

This morning Daisy came wandering out of the bedroom to see me. I let Tilly outside quick. Then, I got Daisy hooked up right away, and we went for a nice morning stroll. She went potty for me, like a good girl. When we got back, I took Rita outside for her potty break. I got Tilly some fresh water, and she helped herself to the spigot. Once Rita was finished, we headed inside. I got everyone their breakfast and made sure they had some water. Lil Man was just into everything today, "helping me" with whatever I was doing. Haha! I also had a little shadow everywhere I went. Miss Daisy followed me all over the place. I got Daisy and Rita a snack, while I went out to give Tilly her meds and a cookie. Back inside, I sat on the couch and pet the girls. Rita did her little dance as I scratched her heiny! Lil Man sat on the ottoman and pawed at me playfully. Kiki sat on top of her kitty tree, at a safe height away from Rita! Miss Daisy would stand up between my knees and just paw at me. She loves me now! This afternoon I walked in and my heart sank. I saw a treat laying on the floor, and the bag of Tilly's treats missing from the counter! Lil Man was up there this morning when I was getting Tilly's meds, so he probably knocked it down later on. I started looking around for the baggie. Daisy was hiding under the bed, as if she expected a scolding. I knew it wasn't her fault! I finally found the baggie under the couch, still retaining most of the treats. Daisy only got a couple then, if any. I put the treats in a different location. I coaxed Daisy out, and we went for our walk. She was fine after that! Rita went out for her potty break when we got back, and Daisy even came outside too. All of us sat out for a little bit and enjoyed the gorgeous afternoon!

Sophie & Roxy

Today the girls were right at the door to wait for me! They came in and danced around in the kitchen, happy to see me. I got them some food, then we went to sit down. The girls snuggled up on the couch with me for awhile. Roxy made me laugh as she was tumbling around, being silly. She wanted her own space after a bit, so she hopped over into her chair. She laid her front paws across the arm. So cute! I got them each a snack while we were inside. They both took a little snooze again. Sophie was curled up on her bed and Roxy in her chair. After a little while, they both got up and had some dinner. When it was time, I got them another snack to enjoy outside on this gorgeous day!

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today both kitties were sitting on the floor in the front room. Jerrie was by the window, and Kimmie by the tv stand. Kimmie hopped up and followed me around, meowing at me. I guess someone was craving some attention! I went over ti visit mom and drop off her newspaper. Kimmie was waiting for my return. She sat by the laundry room door, and casually scratched her paws on the rug. When I finished taking care of their things, I saw Kimmie had moved out to the back of the couch. She followed me to go see Jerrie. Both kitties were happy to be pet. Jerrie sprawled out alongside of me and purred away. They will be very happy to have mom and dad home soon!
