Sampson & Haley

This evening I got in and saw Sampson sitting out on the patio. He hadn't heard me yet, so I started getting his dinner and medicine ready. I looked over, then I saw that this time, he was staring back at me! Haha. He was ready. I got outside and he was super excited for his dinner. He took his allergy and joint pills well, then polished off his dinner. I went back in to get Haley her dinner as well. I didn't see her, so I cleaned her box and made sure she had plenty of dry food and water. Back outside, I visited with Sampson a bit and gave him some pets. He just kept trying to tell me that he wanted to go in! He would set his paw on my knee and give a little whine. Each time I went in the house, he was right there, ready to follow.

Rusty & Ruby

Today I arrived and it was raining out. I let Ruby out and called for Rusty. He was sitting in his chair in the front room, and wasn't too thrilled to get up. He finally did, and followed us outside. I got Ruby to follow me out to the grass. She sure wasn't happy about that! She kept looking back to the house. "Please, can I go back inside?" I kept telling her to go potty, then she could go back in and get out of the rain. She was a good girl and did her business. Then, she ran like the wind to get back in the house! Rusty and I went in through the back door. I didn't have any lights on, so it was pretty dark inside. I thought Ruby was coming towards me in the kitchen, then I realized that dog was way too white for her! I knelt down and said hi to the pup. She was very sweet. She, Rusty and I sat in the front room for awhile. I think Ruby had gone to hide in mom and dad's room.

Winston

This afternoon Winston went to the door to wait for his leash to be hooked on. Luckily, the rain had let up just in time for us to get outside for his potty break. We walked around a little bit and he got to do his business. Just as he was finishing up, the rain started to pour down on us. We ran inside before it got too heavy out there. Winston slid across the floor to dry off. Haha. We got more play time instead for today. He ran around and was switching up his toys the whole time. First, he was busy with his nylabone. Then, he ran and found his green bone. So, we played a little fetch with that. There sure isn't much left of that thing! Next, he was ready for a game of tug with his rope. He was all into it, doing his little bunny hop backwards! Haha. He cracks me up. He switched back and forth between his rope and his green bone until it was time to go.

Eddie & Butler

Today I let the boys out and they both said hi. Butler was in a playful mood today! He went and hopped around on the couch, then came to get me, and went back again. "C'mon, let's play!" He found his red bone toy and we played a little game of fetch with that. Since it was down-pouring outside, the boys decided to hang inside with me for most of the time. Eddie was content just sitting by me and getting his back scratched. I had the boys come outside with me so that they'd do their business. They did, and they messed around out there for a little bit.

Oscar

This afternoon my buddy was at the door to see me right away. It was dark inside today, since it was supposed to storm out. Oscar and I went outside and saw that it was getting darker out and the lightning was increasing. He stood and looked at the clouds with me for a minute, then he went to lounge in the grass. Soon, the storm had arrived and it started to rain. As it picked up, I had him come in. He didn't seem to mind laying out there while it was only sprinkling! Haha. I wiped off his tootsies, then we made our way in. He and I played with his rope toy until it was time to go.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I walked in and saw little miss Sadi just sitting in the kitchen! She snuck out again. Luckily, she must not have been out long. I didn't find anything, so I took her back to her room to get her meds. Stormy was following me back and forth, expecting her food. Finally, the last time, she got what she was waiting for. The girls got busy snacking on their breakfast. Sadi didn't eat long this morning and came over to sit by me for a little while. Stormy wandered back out to the living room. As I was leaving, I didn't see her, so she must have been napping somewhere. It was raining out, so it was a perfect morning for one!
