Jiffy & Toby

Jiffy and Toby are doing just fine today. This morning when I came in they were pretty sleepy yet. They both got up and did a big stretch before they started jumping up and down by the gate. Jiffy does his little howl at me all the time now. He usually does it when I first get there before I take them outside. And now he howls after he's done eating and must be ready to play! Toby came right back in this morning. Must have been too chilly out there for him. Tonight when I let them out he stayed out again for quite awhile. I guess it gives Jiffy just enough time to finish eating before it's Toby's turn. I was wearing gloves tonight when I came in and Jiffy seemed pretty intriqued by them. He kept trying to stick his nose in my pocket to check them out.

Sophie & Roxy

The fish were all out when I came in today, must be hungry! I got the food started to thaw out and then let the girls in. They were very excited to come inside! They were jumping and rolling all over the place. I sat down on the floor with them and got attacked with puppy kisses! Sophie started rolling over on her back and snuggling up next to me. I had them sit and gave them both a biscuit while I filled the fish tank. Sophie came over to see what I was doing. I sat and snuggled and played with them for awhile. They are so sweet! I filled up their food and water bowls before I left. That self-waterer was completely frozen, but the heated bowl was just fine. It's a good thing you got that, since we will be getting some very chilly temps this next week!

Taz

Taz and I went on the long route for our walk this morning. There was a little bit more snow today that fell overnight. When we were leaving I noticed he was looking at something while we walked down the driveway. I looked too and saw a rabbit running through the yards! Taz walked very good for me again today and sat for me at all his spots. As we were coming back we saw the neighbor and his dog outside. When we got back I fed him and filled his water bowl. It had almost completely froze so I had to break it out of the bowl first. I made him sit by his house before I left to give him his chewie. He was pretty sneaky and crept forward once when I turned my head quick to make sure I wasn't going to trip and fall, since I was walking backwards! Other than that, he stayed for me until I told him it was ok.
