Eddie & Butler

This afternoon was simply gorgeous outside! I let the boys out of their beds, then we made our way outside. I sat down and they surrounded me as usual. They said hi for a minute, then wandered off. They started out lounging on the patio for awhile. Then, the neighbor dog barked. All the relaxing was done after that! Butler was busy springing around along the fence. Eddie was right there with him, barking away. They started to get a little carried away, so I called them back inside.

Oscar

Today I opened the door and heard Oscar was on his way to greet me. He happily rubbed his face against my leg as we made our way to the door. He's such a happy guy! We went out and he immediately found a spot to crash in the grass for awhile. The neighbor was out, so he got up to go check that out. Then, he was barking at me to play! I grabbed his frisbee and tossed it to him. He actually let me have it back today! Haha. I threw it again and he raced to go catch it. He was jumping in the air for some catches today too. We had fun playing and chasing around on such a beautiful day! When he got tired, he lounged in the shade until it was time to head inside and get his treat.

Rusty & Ruby

This morning I let the girls outside right away. The boys were going crazy in their bed, they were so excited! The two little ladies worked on their breakfast, then went to do their business. The brown girl spotted those funny looking critters out there again today, and had to race over to check it out. Little white girl joined her after she finished eating. Later on, they found a tennis ball and were taking turns having fun and rolling it around! They went in, then it was the boys' turn out back. Ranger got his medicine, and they both ate for me. Charlie was zooming all over the place. I grabbed the tennis ball and threw it for them. They got carried away chasing each other and trying to steal it from another. I found a second one, and that really got them excited! They both were prancing around with a ball in their mouth. Then, one would decide that the other pup's ball must be better. They went back to chasing around and playing with just one at a time. Haha! This afternoon I let Ruby out and she raced outside. I had to go get lazy boy Rusty from the front room. Ruby did her business, then I got the girls out. They all were busy wandering all over the place. Rusty was checking out the grass by the fence, Ruby was up on the patio, and the girls were at opposite ends of the yard. When it was time, the girls wandered right inside for me. They're picking up on our routine pretty quick! The boys were more than ready to come out for their turns. Rusty and Ruby were ready to head inside by now. So, Charlie and Ranger had the whole yard to themselves. They had a blast chasing around with their tennis ball again!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy hopped down from her chair when I got in. She was following me all over the place today! I got Sadi up from her cozy spot in her bed. She got her nose cleaned up and took her morning meds. I got their food ready next. Both girls went to eat right away for me. Since Sadi was eating well today, I didn't give her the appetite stimulant, even though she could have gotten one today if needed. I fed her a syringe full of food as well, just for good measure. When we were done, her tummy was nice and full. She sat with me for awhile and got some pets afterwards.
