Maggie & Moe

The girls ran to the door to see me this afternoon! We went outside for a little while, but they were soon ready to go inside since it was pretty hot out. After we got inside, the girls sat on either side of me for some attention. Maggie ran off into the bedroom to get a rawhide. As soon as Moe saw her, she ran over to try and get it. She didn't try too hard though, gave up and had some lunch. Moe came back and rolled around next to me, while Maggie decided to go chew on her bone in the bedroom. Tonight we got to play outside a lot longer. It cooled off quite a bit and the girls had fun chasing each other all over the backyard! When we finally went in, the girls both had some supper while I was there. Maggie came over to snuggle up with me while she gnawed on her bone and Moe was ready to play. Moe ran to her toy box and dug out her purple ball for me to throw around for her! After she lost interest in that, the girls wrestled around over Maggie's rawhide.
Maggie, can you see with that rawhide in front of your face?

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon I let Kota and Benny out back right away. Benny ran for his bone toy as soon as he got out there and pranced around me with it. Kota was over in the corner of the yard, trying to stick her nose under the fence to say hi to the neighbor dogs! Benny laid over by the door and was ready to head back inside since it was pretty hot out. We waited for Kota, then went back in. Kota had some very loose stool again today. Kota and Benny both sat down by me to get their backs scratched. Then Benny was ready for some fetch! Kota did some hopping around on the couch, trying to catch Benny. Then Kota rolled around on the ground and Benny stood over her, sticking his toy in her face! They wrestled around over it for a little bit. Kota was having a lazy day today and decided to go lay down in her kennel. She didn't feel up for much playing today like she usually is. She didn't even come out to join us while Benny and I were chasing around and playing keep-away!
